Chapter 61
Tori's POV.
Seeing the anger clearly written on his face was terrifying. He looked like he was about to murder someone.
"It'd be rash for you to act anyhow right now," Riven tried stopping his brother from walking out of the door.
My fingers were still well wrapped around his wrist, trying to stop him from going away. I slowly pulled him back into my embrace.
"What if he tries to harm you again? I need to kill that bastard as fast as I can," he spat.
My arms were still wrapped around his body. It wasn't quite long before I felt another person embracing me from behind. It was Riven.
I felt warm immediately his arm surrounded me. Now I was in between two brothers. It felt oddly satisfying and warm, something I wanted to stay in for a long time.
"We'll be here to protect her," Riven stated, his head kissing my forehead.
His arm remained wrapped around me from behind, while I stayed pressed against Kael at the front.
The room had gone strangely quiet.
