Jonathan stopped abruptly, turning around with a look of slight surprise before a smile spread across his face. "Oh, okay. Wait here. I'll go get them," Jonathan said, breaking into a light jog toward his room, clearly pleased that Zee had refused to use his ex-girlfriend's clothes.
Only moments later, Jonathan returned. In his hands, he carried a set of clean clothes: an oversized white T-shirt and black sweatpants that looked incredibly comfortable.
"This is the smallest size I have," Jonathan said, offering the clothes that would clearly swallow Zee's frame.
"Thank you," Zee said, taking the clothes from Jonathan's hands. Their fingertips brushed briefly, creating a small, warm, and unexpected awkwardness in the corridor.
