The memory hit him like a physical blow. Jonathan shook his head hard, squeezing his eyes shut. Shame and deep regret washed over him. He felt disgusted with himself.
Jonathan put on his clothes one by one. Once he was dressed, he stood up.
"If anything happens as a result of this, don't worry, I will take responsibility," Jonathan said coldly, then immediately left, leaving Zee alone to lament her perceived sin.
Zee had just entered the main gym hall when a loud voice called out to her.
"Zee!" Sifa shouted, waving her hand high in the air.
The shout instantly drew the attention of those around, including Jonathan, who was standing right next to Sifa alongside Heri. Jonathan was instantly flustered and immediately diverted his gaze, pretending to be deeply focused on the barbell he was holding.
Zee approached them, her footsteps feeling stiff. She tried hard to look casual, but there was an unmistakable awkwardness as she tried to greet Jonathan.
