Third Person POV
Once Lina was out of sigh, her mother, Karina stood up abruptly, slamming her palm hard against the mahogany table. She turned around to face her husband, her features twisted in frustration.
"This is all your fault," she hissed, her voice trembling with anger. "You've spoiled her too much. Now she actually thinks she can just walk in here and disrespect me under my own roof."
Her husband looked back at her, completely unbothered by the outburst. He remained seated, his expression calmly critical. "Are you saying I should have just left her out there for that man to take her away? You know damn well Raphael wouldn't just stand by and watch if he found out his own daughter was being treated like a common servant in this pack."
Karina scoffed loudly, crossing her arms. "Oh, so now you suddenly care about her? Weren't you the one who told me you hated her? Because every single time you look at her, she reminds you of..."
