Leo stared
He didn't blink
He didn't move
Eyes wide, but pupils small

Just ahead, the two men were running
They were moving pretty quickly
Their feet glowing purple in the darkness
Slowly getting dimmer down the tunnel-like path

Jogging
He gradually got faster
Eyes locked onto the dimming lights into the distance
Suddenly, he took one step forward
Cracking the ground
He dashed forward, wind whipping behind him
He started running at full speed
Eyes locked onto the two men

Richie and the bartender were running side by side
They just rounded a corner
The breeze whipped at their ears
The bartender was running with his hands In front
They were clasped together
A faint purple light emanated from the creases
His teeth were clenched
Sweat falling from his face as he ran
Eyes locked forward
Richie was looking at him
"Come on mate.. we're almost there," he said
"Shut up..." The bartender muttered through clenched teeth
Still looking forward
Suddenly, Leo slammed into the corner behind them
A loud crash
"Holy fuck!" Richie swore
Leo then pushed off the wall
Getting way closer to them
The purple aura around their legs started flickering
They were getting way slower
"God dammit, Bob!!" Richie shouted
Suddenly, Leo appeared from above
It all happened fast
But it was as if time slowed
The two men jumped to their nearest wall
Each running on the opposite side
Richie on the right, Bob on the left
Leo came crashing into the middle, debris flying
Immediately, Richie attacked
He pushed of the wall
Midair, he kicked
A yellow arc-like energy shot straight for Leo's face
Leo twisted half his body lower
The arc passed over his face
But then he saw it
Bob's hand was aimed at his face
ERQUIS
He muttered, voice overlapping
Leo only had time to shield his face
A huge explosion happened
Smoked appeared in the alley

For a split second,there was silence
The smoke slowly expanding
Then two figures jumping from the opposite wall to the other
Were seen moving
They landed on the floor
Ready to run
But Bob fell to his knees, coughing blood
Richie pulled him up
"Come on.. You can't die like this" he dragged him up
The two started running, half limping
In front of them was a silhouette
Barely dragging himself
Leaning on the wall for support while he walked
"Oh come on.." Richie muttered
The figure up ahead fell to his knees
Obviously shaking, even from this distance
The two finally limped closer to the figure
It was the dark-skinned jumpsuit guy
He was sweating profusely
His pants sounded heavy and ragged
Eyes wide
"R-richie.." he didn't blink. "I-I can't cast"
Richie stopped
Bob still supported on his shoulder
"I'm sorry mate.." he closed his eyes
Bob looked at him
One eye twitching, blood ran from his lips to chin
"I'm sorry... Percy"
Percy looked away
Soon he clenched his fist
"Y-you know what?" He stood up
"Fuck him!" Percy swore
He turned facing the smoke where Leo was
He started walking closer to the smoke
"Hey, what are you doing?!" Richie asked
Voice half shaking

He took another step closer to the smoke
Tears falling from his face
Hands trembling
Unsurprisingly, Leo stepped out of the smoke
A burn scar on his right hand that covered part of his face
His chin was burnt too
"Go.." Percy said
He started walking closer to Leo
"Percy?!" Ritchie called
But he didn't listen
Bob squeezed Ritchie's wrist
"Let's go.."
Richie closed his eyes

They started walking farther
Leo stopped when Percy slowly walked towards him
Fist clenched, tears flowing
Trembling
Percy walked closer
Then stopped Infront of Leo
He cocked his hand back
Then punched Leo
A right hook across the face
But Leo didn't budged

Percy was about to throw another when
Leo slapped him
Percy didn't even see the swing
A backhand that sent his Jaw flying into the darkness
Percy was now jawless
For a second, he stood still then-
He fell to his knees,
Choking
Then onto his sides
Looking up at Leo
Leo didn't look at him
He only began walking farther
Eyes locked onto the moving Bob and Ritchie
But Percy grabbed his leg
Grip tightening
Leo looked at him
Percy glared while choking
He placed his other palm on the wall
Still glaring at Leo
"I'LL CAST THE FUCK OUTTA THIS!!" He thought
A single tear fell from his eye
Suddenly, raw energy ran into the walls
Everything started shaking and cracking
Percy gripped Leo's leg tighter
Suddenly, a huge chunk of the ceiling fell
Dropping with a heavythud
Then darkness

The whole route was now falling down
Ritchie and Bob were limping
When the crack in the roof caught up to them
The rocks were falling
The two began running
THOMAS POV
While in the tunnel, Autumn and Thomas took many different paths and corners
"Look!" Autumn shouted
She pointed, while hovering
Thomas bent over, panting, and looked
What they were seeing was an entrance
Not light, but just a tree outside in the dark area
"Autumn..slap me if I'm dreaming" Thomas half sighed
When he looked
Autumn was not by his side
She was ahead, hovering towards the entrance
Thomas clenched his teeth and began dragging his feet
One after the other
Letting out a huge grunt every time he took a successful step
Then they both stop
"You hear that?" Autumn asked, turning.
A deep rumbling was heard
Then shaking
They turned to look
Behind them were Bob and Ritchie
Half running towards them
Behind them, the whole tunnel was caving in
"Oh god, no...I can't die now" Thomas began running
One destination in mind
The tree was getting closer
Autumn was flying ahead of him
Behind him, he could hear Bob and Richie shouting

He ran past the tree and landed on his face
He rolled over, panting, while looking up into the dark sky

He could hear the tunnel continue to shake
Suddenly, just before the it caved in
The two men jumped out
Landing on their faces too
Dust blew onto them
The four were all panting
They were in a small forest area
The houses and the nearest town could be spotted
The yellowish lamps glowing in the half-dark city
Thomas finally stood up
Autumn stood beside him
Staring down the two men
They also stood up
Opposite each other
Staring each other down
No one spoke
Not for a while
Each of them was panting, but trying to hide it d
"What happened to Leo?" Autumn asked, breaking the silence
Richie didn't answer
"Seems we had a misunderstanding" He wiped his mouth
"Maybe we can learn some stuff from each other" he added
Ritchie forced a tired smirk
Autumn and Thomas exchanged glances
