Finn observed the two system windows floating in front of him while drinking a glass of orange juice. Everyone in the guild was far too entertained with the new phone to pay any attention to Finn. Even Mirajane, who had already realized that Finn was still in the guild, only needed to touch the phone for a few moments before completely forgetting about the mission she wanted to do.

(Sigh... I don't know what to do now. Rusty Rose is of no use to me at all anymore since I already have his magic, and besides, I can choose another soul... But who should I choose?) Finn asked himself indecisively, looking at the soul window. (Maybe Grindelwald. That old man has spells that are both useful, powerful, and versatile.)

(NO!) Kurama roared in Finn's head. (You will choose the Haki user, Newgate,) Kurama demanded.

(Shirohige? Are you stupid?!) Finn asked, alarmed. (If I choose Shirohige, I won't be able to choose another soul until I reach 50% compatibility with him, and there's no way to increase compatibility that much without causing an uproar!)

Finn had indeed considered Shirohige quite a few times, but the problem was always the same: running the risk of splitting Magnolia or any other city in half every time he used him.

(Newgate is a powerful soul. The faster you get it and make his power yours, the better!) Kurama exclaimed again.

(Understand this! Shirohige is too powerful, I would destroy entire places just by moving my hands,) Finn tried to explain. (It's better to choose another soul, and once we're ready, we can choose Shirohige and travel to the world of One Piece. There, we could train him without any problems.)

(Your reasoning makes no sense! You could choose Newgate and travel to the world of One Piece immediately,) Kurama replied with a growl.

(Have you lost your mind?! Aren't you supposed to be able to see my memories? We would be like water in a desert if we travel there!) Finn answered immediately. (Just imagine it! A kid with the power to walk on the sea, the power of Shirohige, and the ability to summon a gigantic nine-tailed fox whenever he feels in danger. We would be the rarest and most coveted gem, not only for the Tenryuubito but also for the World Government!)

Finn knew he was probably overthinking things; after all, Luffy went sailing around the sea without direct trouble from the government until he declared war on them and Gear Five was revealed. However, his fear of the government was fully justified after knowing everything they were capable of. Not even Shinobis committed such atrocities in public.

Kurama growled before falling silent, understanding Finn's fear. Finn let out a tired sigh before looking back at the soul window, wondering what to do with Rusty Rose's soul.

At that exact moment, a notice appeared in front of him.

[

Notice:

The user can recycle a soul and its compatibility when adding another soul. The compatibility of the previous soul will be added to the new soul. (Note: recycling the percentage from an old soul to a new one does not guarantee they will have the same level of compatibility. Compatibility will depend entirely on the soul in question.)

]

(Hmm.... well, I have nothing to lose,) Finn thought before recycling Rusty Rose's soul and choosing Gellert Grindelwald.

The system seemed to load for a few seconds, generating impatience in both Finn and Kurama, until a new window appeared with the updated Souls tab, and a bunch of information hit Finn's head like a heavy sledgehammer.

[Souls:

Gellert Grindelwald (51% of compatibility)

Edward Newgate (Mission required)

(Ahhh!... I am never using that recycling thing again,) Finn thought, clutching his aching head.

Finn didn't even have time to look at the window before Kurama's voice echoed in his head again.

(Newgate!) Kurama exclaimed desperately. He could almost imagine the Haki flowing through his body and Kaido at his feet.

(I get it!) Finn replied irritably, choosing Newgate.

(Happy?) Finn asked, but only received a growl in response.

Gyojin Island, Mermaid Cafe

Madam Shyarly, a young shortfin mako shark mermaid and owner of the Mermaid Cafe, was resting in the comfort of her room while peacefully smoking.

The afternoon had passed as usual; the mermaids continued to work busily from one side to the other while she tried to relax, hoping that the slight headaches that started this morning would slowly fade away.

"Madam, we have finished cleaning the cafe," a mermaid announced, entering her room.

"Sure... good work," Madam Shyarly uttered while holding her aching head.

"Are you alright, Madam? Would you like me to bring you something or call someone?" the mermaid asked worriedly.

"No... I'm fine, it's just a..." Madam Shyarly tried to explain, but the pain began to increase. "It's just a headache... Ah!"

"Madam!" the mermaid screamed in fright.

Madam Shyarly clutched her head; everything around her was turning black at the same time that a figure, like a mirage, appeared in front of her.

(A vision?! But I'm not even using the crystal ball!) Shyarly thought before turning to look at the mermaid in front of her. "My crystal ball. Bring it quickly!"

The mermaid acted as fast as she could, bringing the sphere in a matter of seconds. Madam Shyarly took it and went to a table, tossing aside everything on it before carefully placing the sphere down.

(What is this? Why are you showing it to me in visions, what do you want to show me?!) Shyarly asked herself at the same time that she placed her hands over the sphere.

At that instant, the sphere glowed and showed the future to Shyarly once more.

At first, a young man with brown hair and red eyes stood atop a giant skull; above him was a blue dragon covered by the night clouds. Shyarly recognized him immediately: Kaido. Then, the vision changed again; seven young people were facing Kaido's forces. Shyarly witnessed abilities she had never seen or heard of before—giant warriors that looked like they were made of crystal, a person with the ability to devour fire and lightning, and a giant golden fox that seemed to destroy everything with just the movement of its nine tails, which produced the same damage and tremors as Shirohige himself.

Afterward, everything went dark, and a few seconds later, a wave of purple energy covered the entire world, and with it, the presence of people with never-before-seen abilities appeared. Among those people, a man with ringed purple eyes dazzled Shyarly; she witnessed the destruction of countless islands under that man, and at the end, a roar that vanished everything in its path as a dragon with dark scales descended to devour everything in its way.

Shyarly woke up abruptly in her bed. She was shaking and sweating profusely; all her workers were around her, looking at her with concern.

"Madam Shyarly, are you feeling better?" a mermaid asked.

"Did you have another vision?" another mermaid asked. "Is it bad? Is something going to happen to us?"

Shyarly stammered, trying to make sense of what she had seen, but all those visions she had were filled with beings and humans with abilities never seen before; she herself didn't know how to interpret what she had witnessed.

"Take me to the King, we have to warn him that something is coming... the world is about to change," Madam Shyarly said.
