"Cutie, can you feel that power?" Lisa turned to Bonanus.
"I can. It feels very restless." Bonanus nodded. Looking ahead, she could see a swirl of wind hovering above a structure in the distance.
It looked quite dangerous.
"Once we remove the source of the threat, we can clock out." Lisa brushed the dust off her clothes. This dusty place was really uncomfortable.
"Speaking of which, why are there so few monsters here? I expected a lot more." Bonanus looked around, slightly disappointed. She had hoped to earn more karmic debt.
"I didn't expect so few either. I was ready for a real fight." Lisa crossed her arms and shook her head helplessly.
"Maybe the monsters are afraid of this restless power and fled the area. Only a few stubborn ones stayed behind." Lisa offered her theory.
"Maybe." Bonanus nodded casually. She wasn't too concerned.
"Either way, it's a good thing. We don't have to work as hard. Nice and easy." Lisa chuckled.
"It felt pretty easy, aside from all the walking." Bonanus started walking toward the structure emitting the restless energy.
Lisa followed without a word. The two walked side by side. Though there were fewer monsters nearby, they still had to watch out for traps.
But to someone as sharp as Lisa, those traps were practically decorations. None of them could touch them. Lisa could even use the traps to help them move forward.
To be honest, if Lisa became an adventurer, she would probably be famous. That woman was just too capable.
The two women weaved through the temple, dodging trap after trap, until they finally reached the structure where the strange energy originated.
Upon entering, Bonanus saw a wind stone glowing with Anemo energy. A breeze flowed through the entire room.
"This is it. One of the sources of the storm." Lisa held down her hat. Otherwise, the wind would have blown it off.
"The stone looks pretty ordinary." Bonanus's hair whipped wildly in the wind, her qipao clinging tightly to her body.
"Time to end this." Lisa smiled. As she spoke, Electro energy began to gather in her hand.
Crackle... crackle...
The Electro energy formed into a ball. Lisa gently tossed it toward the wind stone. The ball seemed unaffected by the wind, floating steadily toward its target.
Boom!
The moment it made contact, a small explosion occurred. Not powerful enough to hurt anyone, but more than enough to destroy the wind stone.
As the stone shattered, the restless energy in the temple gradually subsided.
"Mm~ time to call it a day." After completing the task, Lisa stretched lazily, her voice filled with drowsiness.
"That felt too easy. I feel like I didn't do anything." Bonanus rubbed her forehead awkwardly. She felt like she had just been along for the ride.
"Of course not. You used your magic to help me carry those old books, didn't you? I couldn't have carried them all by myself." Lisa patted Bonanus's head.
"Sure, let's go with that." Bonanus shrugged helplessly. If this were a game, she would definitely be called a freeloader.
"Haha, either way, this matter is temporarily resolved. Let's pack up and head back to Mondstadt." Lisa said to Bonanus.
"Alright." Bonanus nodded. There was no point in staying. There weren't any treasure chests with Primogems here.

After a long journey with many stops and starts...
Mondstadt City
By now, the sky above Mondstadt had calmed down. Though occasional winds still blew, it was much better than during the storm.
"We're finally back." Walking across the bridge, Lisa looked out at Cider Lake surrounding the city. This was much more comfortable.
"Yeah. I wonder how the others are doing." Bonanus looked at the pigeons on the bridge. They seemed different from the ones in the game. They weren't afraid of people.
Well, some of them were still skittish.
The braver ones would even land on your shoulders. The boldest would hop into your pockets, searching for food.
It looked like their mission to the temples had been effective. The pigeons were already coming out to eat.
During the storm, they had all been hiding.
Even though the bridge was still littered with broken defenses and scattered weapons, that didn't stop the pigeons from foraging.
For some reason, looking at the pigeons made Bonanus want to use her ultimate ability. Was this a side effect from the game?
In her previous life, after finishing her daily quests, she would always come to the bridge to collect fowl. It was the fastest way to get it.
"The others? Don't worry. Just look at the sky. They probably did well too. They might have even returned to Mondstadt before us." Lisa smiled.
"You're right. They all have Visions. They should be fine." Bonanus nodded. Even though their combat stats in the game weren't impressive, their lore versions were all incredibly strong.
They arrived at Mondstadt's city gate.
Just as they got there, Captain Ireland, who was directing the knights to reinforce the defenses, noticed them.
He stepped forward and gave a proper knightly salute.
"Welcome back, Lady Lisa. The Acting Grand Master wishes to see you. She's waiting in her office at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters."
Hearing that, Lisa rubbed her head. She had just wanted to rest, and now there was more work. What a hassle.
She shook her head and said to Bonanus, "Cutie, looks like we have to part ways for now. Don't miss me too much. I'll invite you for a bath tonight."
"Alright. Take care, Sister Lisa." Bonanus smiled in return.
Lisa nodded, gave Bonanus one last smile, and entered the city, heading toward the Knights' headquarters.
"Thank you both for your hard work." Ireland said, his tone full of gratitude. These people were true heroes of Mondstadt.
Then, as if remembering something, he continued, "Miss Fashui, Captain Kaeya and Outrider Amber returned before you. There's a traveler with them who's looking for you."
Bonanus nodded in acknowledgment. It seemed the protagonist had many questions for her.
She sighed softly, smiled at Ireland, and walked into the city.
