Chapter 165 - Chapter 165: Amatsuki Disembarks, Garp Becomes a Hero

Chapter 165: Amatsuki Disembarks, Garp Becomes a Hero

The next morning, after a full day and night of travel, Luo Han and his group finally arrived in the outer seas surrounding Wano Country.

The ocean currents here surged like giant serpents, violently twisting toward a single direction—erratic and treacherous. Most ships never even saw Wano's shores before being torn apart by these waters.

Thankfully, Luo Han 's ships were floating in the sky, completely unaffected.

"Tsuki, are you sure you want to get off here?" Aishi asked, pointing at the violent currents, then at the small boat waiting nearby. "You really don't want Luo Han to send you all the way back?"

"Yeah, I could take you too," Ellis chimed in, floating in front of Amatsuki with concern. "My power lets me fly with people. Cole's can do it too."

Ellis gestured toward Cole, who silently raised a fist in a "no problem" gesture.

"Hehe, relax everyone! This is my home—I know how to get back safely," Amatsuki said with a bright smile. Then, bowing deeply, she added, "Thank you all for your care. This journey has been so much fun. I'm really grateful. I'll be off now!"

Thump! She hopped into the small boat and looked toward Luo Han , raising her brows slightly—signaling him to lower the vessel into the sea.

She hasn't said a word to me since this morning. Still mad? Luo Han frowned inwardly but moved the boat slowly downward into the sea.

"Be careful, Tsuki!" Aishi and the others called out, concern flashing in their tearful eyes.

The girl looked up and smiled again—so radiant that it made everyone even more emotional.

Seeing that smile, Luo Han couldn't help but recall the first time they met. She'd burst into his life like a mischievous, bright little girl, talking to him as if they'd been friends for years.

"So as a normal person… helping a friend once isn't too much to ask," he thought to himself. Then he stopped lowering the boat. "Wait—let me give you something."

"What is it?" the others asked curiously. Only Amatsuki's eyes flashed with a knowing glint, the corners of her lips curling into a smirk.

With a flick of his hand, a stream of seawater rose into the air and floated toward Luo Han . As he channeled his psychic power into it, it slowly began to take shape—until it formed a sea-blue ring.

"Give me a drop of blood," Luo Han said. A tiny bead of blood from Amatsuki's fingertip merged into the ring, and he infused it with a stabilizing energy.

"Hehe! Yes! It's almost mine!" Amatsuki looked giddy with excitement. If not for the situation, she might have cheered aloud.

Luo Han didn't notice her inner glee. He was fully focused on stabilizing the ring and linking it to his psychic world, assigning it a coordinate so he could sense it no matter how far away it was.

"Done." About ten minutes later, he held a glowing sea-blue ring in his hand and smiled.

This was a new ability born from his evolved Mind-Mind Fruit powers. Once stabilized, an object like this could permanently exist unless Luo Han died. By assigning it a coordinate in the mental plane, he could always know its location and condition.

"It's beautiful…" Aishi murmured dreamily. A twinge of jealousy flashed in her eyes. She glanced at Luo Han and pouted, "Wow… didn't know you were such a smooth talker."

Luo Han gave another awkward chuckle. Best to keep quiet when misunderstood.

"Catch!" he said, tossing the ring to Amatsuki. "It's super durable—basically unbreakable. But it carries your energy signature, so you can shatter it easily. If you're ever in danger, crush it. I'll come for you—no matter who it is, I'll kill them."

"I'll remember that! Thank you, Luo Han !" Amatsuki raised her left hand and slipped the ring on, her face full of joy. She smiled and shouted, "It feels like I'm wearing the entire ocean on my finger!"

Luo Han smiled back and lowered the boat into the sea.

As it touched the water, two giant golden fish appeared and grabbed the rope at the front, pulling the boat forward.

"Everyone, goodbye!" the girl called, waving one last time as the boat disappeared into the horizon toward her homeland—Wano Country.

"Goodbye, Tsuki. I hope you end up smashing that ring someday… or maybe not…" Luo Han shook his head. We'll see.

After waiting to confirm she was safe, Luo Han turned the ship around and headed toward Ark Island.

...

Under a bright sun, the sea was calm. Two ships sailed peacefully.

A few News Coo birds flew overhead, dropping newspapers like leaflets, then sped away like they were in a rush.

On deck, Luo Han reclined in a lounge chair, sunglasses on, sipping juice through a straw. With a flick of his finger, one of the papers floated to him. He peeked over his shades to read the headline.

"Marine Hero—Monkey D. Garp Defeats the Rocks Pirates, Saves Numerous Celestial Dragons and Slaves..."

Luo Han smirked. "The World Government sure knows how to spin a tale. There's barely any Celestial Dragons left, and they're still acting like they saved the world."

Still… it was true that Rocks had been defeated at God Valley.

Honestly, Luo Han felt a bit regretful. If Rocks hadn't died, Luo Han wouldn't have minded being the one to kill him. If Cole hadn't been so badly injured and Ellis on the brink of collapse, he really would've done it.

"What a shame. Things are about to get interesting," Luo Han muttered.

But only for the strong. For ordinary people across the New World, this would likely be the beginning of a nightmare.

"Luo Han , is this true? Did Captain Rocks really get beaten by Garp?" Sister Shao approached, holding the newspaper. She looked deeply skeptical. "That's Rocks. Has Garp really gotten that strong?"

"No way. You know Garp's strength, and so do I," Luo Han replied with a chuckle.

"Then…?" Sister Shao eyed him, guessing the truth.

"Yeah, it's total propaganda," Luo Han confirmed. Then he paused. "Though… in the end, it probably was Garp and Roger who defeated Rocks. I don't know exactly how, but I'm sure the navy took heavy losses. That's why they're now pushing Garp as a 'hero'—and using newspapers to do it."

"What about the others?" she asked, folding the paper. Something about the whole situation felt… off. "Did any of them survive?"

After all, she'd spent years with the Rocks Pirates. Even if she'd left, it was hard not to feel something.

"Whether anyone survived or not… the Rocks Pirates are done. You can't go back. And they're not there anymore," Luo Han said heavily, locking eyes with her. He didn't mention that he'd only killed a few of the original members. What was done was done.

"Yeah… I guess there's no going back," Sister Shao whispered, turning and walking away.

Luo Han laid back again, sipping juice and nibbling on Aishi 's pastries. This… this is what an isekai life should be.

"Ugh. The only problem is—my spiritual sense keeps catching Aishi 's eyes shooting burning pink flames at me. What do I do about that?" he thought with a groan. Now that I've become a 'normal guy,' are the heroines turning ordinary too? I wanted Boa Hancock… Reiju… Hiyori…

Wait. Calm down. At this stage, neither the winning egg nor the fastest sperm has even been formed. You're already planning baby names? Get a grip, man. You'll be cursed for this kind of thinking!

As Luo Han brooded silently, the ships continued their slow voyage forward.
