"Zombies, I mean, not you, are you so eager to become one of them"
A small giggle escape Rin as she teased, earning a hateful glare from Chloe.
"I will make sure you turn into zombies somedays. heads!"
Rin duck her head just in time to feel a sharp gust of wind slice the air right above her head. Chloe swung her heavy metal pipe with full force, catching a runner that was about to lunge at Rin. The impact dropped the runner zombie instantly from the pack.
"Homerun!" Rin exclaimed.
She watches as the zombies tumble upon each other creating a domino effect as it tripped the other two behind it. Yet, despite all the chaos it barely slowed the rest from their marching.
"Rin, time to get serious." Chloe clenches her fist. Feeling her hand as a tingling sensation left after she throw a numbing strike. 'Don't use iron pipe' she makes a small mental note. Her focus shifted briefly to see the other group that hadn't run enough yet, before refocusing again towards the wave of infected.
"You seems enjoying yourself." Rin noted as she swing her metal pipe adding a crisp sound in this chaotic exchange.
"I can finally vent my frustration!" Chloe roar as she beat another zombies.
Not wanting to be left behind, Rin started swinging her own steel pipe. Dodge, weave, attack. They fight all the zombies like a madman, everytime the horde getting close they step back, and they cover each other in perfect harmony as this is not their first time fighting against many. Well, at that time they fight against human not undead.
Whenever a zombie runner got too close, they would sprint ahead to gain distance before spinning around to kill it one by one, ensuring they never got surrounded or trapped.
'How many have I killed', Rin stopped counting, it felt like she already decimated an entire neighborhood at this point. Her muscle is screaming in protest and the heavy breath from Chloe as she desperate to get more air with this acrid smell.
"I don't see any more runners, time to bail out"

The entire alleyway has zombies all over the place, it doesn't matter where they go, they keep bumping into zombie and the persistent horde behind them refused to lose refuse to let them go.
"This way" Chloe finally manage to open an unlocked building. For half of their run, she had keep trying to find an escape building no longer want to be confined in the alleway, but all she found was a jammed handles or locked door. Worse, a few door she managed to open unleash more zombies, adding more to the horde that was chasing them.
After desperately barricading the door with locker, they dragged their feet toward the upper floor, at this point with little energy left in them, they didn't think too much if there were more zombies or mutant lurking in this building – as all they wanted was a place to rest.
Suddenly, a low sound echoed from the upper floor just behind the intersection. Making Rin and Chloe tense.
"Zombies... damn it" Chloe cursed as she took a peek.
Even though they couldn't make out the exact number in the dim light, the heavy chorus of groans and the shifting silhouettes were enough to make them back off.
Retreating back to the first floor, they spotted a solid wooden door without glass window, an enclosed space. This could be their safe place or their death trap. But before they can ponder the risk, the sound of body tumbling from second floor snap them into action. Without another second of hesitation, they push the door.
It's a quite room with mop bucket, cleaning carts and metal lockers, the smell of bleach and detergent makes a great contrast with their current appearance. Their faces have blood splatter and smudges, their make shift armor from magazine has been shredded, a part of their clothes has been torn, and blood still dripped from their pipes.
"Do you think zombie will jump out of this locker?" Rin asked, lightly tapping the side of each locker while Chloe silently checked the other side of the room.
Finding it clear, Chloe immediately collapsed on the floor, but before she could even close her eyes, the sound of clothes rustle makes her failed to sleep, she turned to see the sound.
"What? Want to see my great body" Rin tease her, she slowly began to undress taking off her sweater with chocolate bar stuck on her mouth.
"To think my pure Rin become an exhibitionist, this hurt mother feeling" Chloe faked her tears, covering her eyes with finger open.
"hoo, said someone that want to sleep covered in blood and guts"
"atleast that sounds metal compare to exhibitionist"
"It's not title" Rin throw her dirty sweater to Chloe, landing it perfectly on Chloe face covering her vision.
"F*ck"
Chloe threw the dirty sweater back, and Rin caught it, tossing it right back at her. Making the girls playing catch in the cramped janitor's room.
Finally, Chloe slid down against the locker, she watches Rin on the opposite side catching her breath with the dirty sweater on her lap, now they both become worse compared when they first entered the room.
"Are you still going to wash up"
"Of course. Do you want to watch me clean up, pervert?"
"I'm going to rest... don't make any noise"
Water ready, Clean cloth ready, well there in no body soap I did find hand soap and some sanitizer, I guess I will just wipe my body for now. Currently Chloe back is facing her despite all the teasing Rin is actually shy to show her body, once she felt safe Rin takes off her shirt and pants.
"Mmm..." A small, relieved sigh escape her lips as the damp cloth refreshed her exhausted skin. However, the stubborn dried blood keep clinging onto her skin and hair. Should I use hand soap? Well a soap is a soap right, there shouldn't be a problem.
"Rin..."
"Wha... Why are still awake!"
"You shouldn't use hand soap for body and hair"
"It's not like Stella is here to nag me... Wait why are you watching me?!" Rin's face flushed bright red as she frantically throw toilet roll at her.
"Seems like it has grown a lot"
"shuddup, why don't you fall asleep, and stop watching me"
With a loud squeak of wheels, Rin grabbed the heavy mop cart and aggressively shoved it right in front of Chloe, completely blocking her line of sight.
"You are the one who ask if I want to watch"
"I have no recollection on any of those statement you make"
"If only I can show this to Stella and Gina" Chloe teased, trying to find a gap to peek "your back is still dirty do you need help?"
"Hell no!"
