I woke up in the morning and washed my face. At breakfast, my eyes wouldn't meet Kasami's eyes after hearing what he told me yesterday. I wore my shoes, ready to go to school.
Hoshito: "I am going to school now. And Kasami… I will decide if I trust you or not when I return." I said with a cold voice and without looking at Kasami.
After that, I left the house. I was walking while looking at the ground, thinking about what I should do about Kasami and what I should say to the main cast when I meet them again.
???: "Hey, Yuru-San. Why the long face?"
My tracked interrupted by a familiar voice, and when I raised my eyes, I saw Ichigo walking out of his house. His eyes locked on mine with concern expression on his face.
Hoshito: "It's nothing, just thinking what I should say to you and your friends." I said while rubbing the back of my head.
In this situation, one of us should say something to the other, but we both said nothing. At that moment, one of Ichigo's sisters came out with her school uniform.
Karin: "Hmm? What's wrong, Ichi-Nii?"
Ichigo: "Ah, Karin, it's nothing."
Karing glanced at Ichigo for a moment and then glanced at me. She seemed to understand the atmosphere between us and sighed as her face showed little annoyance at it.
Karin: "You know, I don't know what happened, but you two seemed to have a lot of things between you two, so why not say it to each other?"
Hoshito: 'Wow, I never thought Karin was this mature… she is right, I can't walk around without telling them…' I thought as I remembered how Ichigo went through after Masaki's death.
I took a deep breath, organized the words in my head, and looked straight at Ichigo's eyes.
Hoshito: "Ichigo, Tsukishima got interested in me since I'm a hybrid, or that's what he told me about."
Ichigo and Karin's eyes were wide after my reveal. Ichigo seemed somehow to have a hunch since he showed a little surprise on his face. But Karin, on the other hand, was more surprised than Ichigo. Her hands clenched, and her expression was a mix of anger and regret.
Ichigo noticed Karin's expression and put his hand on her shoulder to reassure her.
Ichigo: "Karin, you should go to your school now."
Karin: "But—"
Ichigo: "No buts, just go… don't worry, it's nothing big." He said with a soft sound.
Karin glared at me, and I could tell her saying to me quietly, 'I will be watching you.'
Hoshito: 'Great, I made the worst impression on one of Kurosaki's family members.'
Karin then started walking away, leaving Ichigo and me alone. Ichigo looked at me with an understandable look on his face.
Ichigo: "So, Hoshito, can you give me more details?"
Hoshito: "I will give you, but after you bring your gang to the school rooftop."
Ichigo: "I get it."
We then started walking to school after that. And there's a strange feeling I feel when I see Ichigo's face. like he looks like someone I know… It's probably my imagination.

After the class ended and the launch break started, I went straight to the rooftop. Every step I took felt like I was going somewhere from which there's no going back. My feet stopped at the rooftop door just like in games when you pause and ask if I want to enter without saving.
A deep breath came out of my mouth before grabbing door handle and opened it.
Ichigo and the gang were there waiting for me. Each one of them looked at me differently, some with suspicion, and some with concern. I closed the door behind me and looked at them with resolve in my eyes.
Hoshito: "Thanks for coming here. I think you all deserve an explanation of who I am and what my relationship is with Tsukishima."
