Kasami and I are sitting on the ground in the backyard meditating. My eyes were closed, and so were Kasami's. We had been sitting for 45 minutes as he told me meditating would be the best way to learn how to feel others' reiatsu.
Arata: "Just relax and focus on your other senses, don't rely on your eyes since they only show you what you see." He said with a soft voice and gave me instructions.
Trying to rely on other senses was harder than I thought. because I can't talk or open my eyes for one moment, or I am losing my focus.
Hoshito: "aarghh! I give up, I can't do that…" — said with a frustrating voice — "Kasami, is this really the best way to learn how to detect reiatsu…?"
Arata: "Of course it is, what do you think it would be easy? Oh, my poor student, you shouldn't underestimate the world." Saying while chuckling and teasing me.
Hoshito: 'This bastard is enjoying teasing me!' I thought with an annoying expression on my face.
Kasami got up, walked to the living room, and called the day off. I breathe out like someone has drained out their life, and lying down like a dead man.
Hoshito: "Finally… it felt like I was sitting for hours…"
Arata: "And I want you to do that every single day for at least one hour." He said while closing the door slowly, and I can tell he is smirking behind that damn skull mask.
Hoshito: 'When I got my Shinigami powers or any kind of powers from the race I'm with… the first thing I will do is beat this skull bastard…' I thought while glaring at the door.
After that, I went to my room laying on my bed. I started to recall all the events that happened to Bleach and tried to remember some of them.
Hoshito: 'Okay, let's continue what we started yesterday, first the substitute Shinigami happened first to see how hollows made and Shinigami works against them, second soul society arc happened to reveal what look like in after life and show it's forbidden to share human a power…' — my eyes closed as the image of scenes at that arc appeared in my mind — 'third the Arrancar arc happened and that when I stopped watching the anime.'
Hoshito: "Thank goodness I'm back to it when tybw got animated, but then again I dropped into a world that I only know a little."
Young man: "Are you trying to recall what you know about this world?"
The whispers of the young Yhwach were back again with the same expressionless voice in them. I didn't flinch since I got used to this, and my expression was calm.
Hoshito: "Oh, you are still here? Don't you have somewhere to go back? Like the base yhwach and others, Quincy is hiding in?"
Young man: "I wish I could do that, but I can't, so I don't disturb the events from the war."
My eyes narrowed when I heard that, and I realized this guy isn't from this world, either. My gaze went to my shadow, locking in it.
Hoshito: "You… you are not from this world, right?"
Young man: "I'm from this world but in a different future. Simply from another timeline, or what Yhwach calls the future."
My eyes widened to hear this. The atmosphere became heavy, and the room went silent for a moment. I looked at my shadow with a suspicious expression on my face.
Hoshito: "I see, so I can assume that you won't side with him since you don't want to disturb the events from this world?"
Young man: "Yes, you can think of this like that… but I can't guarantee the events will be the same."
Hoshito: "Is that so? That's relief at least, tybw won't change much… anyway, what's your name? Mine is Hoshito Yuru."
Young man: "I don't have a name, but the doctor calls me V."
I raised my eye to find that this guy doesn't have a name. I wanted to talk more, but Kasami shouted to me, telling me the dinner was ready.
Hoshito: "I guess we will continue next time. It was nice to meet you, V."
At the dining table while eating, Kasami and I were watching TV. Nothing was interesting to watch for me, but it seems there are some shows Kasami is interested in.
Then suddenly the phone rang, I got up to answer it, and I wish I hadn't. Just when I picked up the phone, a sweet voice came from it, and I recognized that voice immediately.
Sweet voice: "Ah, Hoshi-Nii, is that you?"
Hoshito: "Yes, it's me, Yui. What's wrong? Why are you calling me?"
Yui: "Hey, don't tell me you forgot? I called you to remind you that I will come to you tomorrow, Saturday."
I flinched for a second but kept smiling. I didn't want to give her the impression that I forgot about her visit.
Hoshito: "I didn't forget, I just think of this as an annoying thing to do."
Yui: "Oh, really? Is that what you said to mom when she visited you?"
Hoshito: "Oi, that was one time! And I already apologized to her!"
Yui: "Yeah, yeah, anyway, I just wanted to remind you about tomorrow, see you later, Hoshi-Nii."
Hoshito: "Yeah, later, Yui."
Then she hung up the phone. The smile on my face slipped off slowly when I realized the danger that my little sister would be in when she came here.
Hoshito: 'This is the worst scenario… Damn it, if what V told me is true about his vision, then Yui would be in danger because of me!' I thought while putting a hand on my forehead with a worried expression.
Hoshito: "Whatever it takes, I must protect her even if it kills me…"
