Chapter 412 - [413] : Roselle's Black Key

"Hah!"

Luna's hissing sound seemed to be coming from the deck below.

That silly cat, how did she get out of the room!

Silas cursed inwardly.

"Whoosh!"

His body instantly became transparent, transforming into pure spirit form and passing directly through the floor to reach the lower level.

"Grazing" the "Wraith"!

The lower deck's lighting was extremely dim, but it had no effect on Silas in spirit form.

He scanned the corridor and quickly spotted his black cat at the far end. The little creature was arching her back, hissing at two invisible servants in front of her.

And beneath her lay a black key, resting quietly. The key was pure black, completely devoid of any metallic luster.

"Tap."

Silas ended his spirit state and landed on the ground.

He stared at the scene before him, his face showing surprise.

Why were these two surrounding Luna? Could it be that what they were looking for was this key?

Was this the Roselle relic that the Queen Mystic and the King of the Black Seat were fighting over?

What was this key used for? And the Queen should have kept it safely stored, so how did Luna find it?

"Meow!"

The black cat's eyes gleamed with a brilliant blue light in the dim depths of the cabin.

Noticing Silas, she called out happily, then lowered her head to pick up the key in her mouth and quickly ran toward him.

The two servants followed behind, reaching out to grab her.

But she seemed to foresee it in advance, dodging nimbly without even looking and rapidly crossing the corridor toward Silas.

"Die!"

And how could Silas not protect his own cat? He stared directly at the two servants and cursed them with profane words.

"Bang!"

As Silas's curse rang out, the two mutated servants immediately exploded into countless transparent fragments.

However, in the next moment, these fragments rapidly gathered together, combining into an even more massive, incredibly solid body.

Countless fine scales spread across its entire form as it rapidly expanded and transformed.

In the blink of an eye, it became a giant dragon!

Because the corridor was relatively narrow, the dragon's size was limited to about two or three meters, but even so, it was far larger than Luna, a small black cat!

"Meowrr!"

Luna was so frightened by the creature that suddenly appeared behind her that her fur stood on end.

Seeing the dragon open its massive jaws to bite her, she immediately gave up, spat out the key, and accelerated toward Silas.

The dragon didn't chase her further. Instead, it lowered its head, swallowed the key in one gulp, turned around, and charged toward the wall on one side of the cabin.

"Boom!"

Its massive, solid body crashed straight through the ship's wall, leaving a gaping hole, then flew toward the King of the Black Seat's massive vessel.

It had seized the item!

Silas's heart raced with urgency.

He transformed into a fireball and shot out through the hole, then his body similarly expanded, becoming a hideous-looking demon.

"Whoosh!"

A blazing lava sword traced a sharp trajectory through the air, aimed directly at the dragon's abdomen, intending to split it in two mid-flight!

But the dragon flapped its wings, adjusted its posture in midair, and dodged the fatal strike.

"Would you kindly stop pursuing me?"

The dragon's face morphed into Baros's likeness and spoke politely to Silas.

"Go to hell."

Silas responded just as cordially.

This guy had just tried to weave nightmares to make him lose control. How could he possibly let it go?

Plus, with the Queen Mystic's request, he had to take the item back!

The dragon flew at full speed, trying to shake off Silas, while the latter refused to back down.

The demon's bat wings beat rapidly, making his body emit a whistling sound.

"Medici!"

Silas shouted in his mind, trying to borrow power from this "God of War." "If you don't cooperate, I'll have to graze you with full force!"

"Tch."

A contemptuous voice echoed in his mind.

Then cyan-white flames tinged with purple ignited in Silas's palm, their temperature far exceeding the crimson flames of a "Pyromaniac"!

Not only that, his control over the flames became much more effortless. With just a few manipulations, he shaped the flames into the form of a spear.

"Whoosh!"

While flying at high speed, Silas hurled the flame spear, aiming at the dragon.

The dragon seemed to sense the killing intent from behind. With a beat of its wings, it quickly adjusted its posture.

This way, the flame spear would graze past it without causing injury.

However, a flash of rust-colored light flickered in Silas's eyes.

The flame spear changed direction at the end of its trajectory and still struck the dragon's head!

"Boom!"

The flames immediately exploded. The terrible temperature and impact caused massive destruction, and the dragon's body shattered in midair.

This time, it didn't continue to reform. Instead, it scattered like falling petals into the sea.

From the Dawn, sounds of battle could be faintly heard. Silas seemed to sense Baros's meaningful gaze from the ship.

But he had no time to worry about that and quickly descended, diving toward the area below where the dragon had exploded.

"Swish!"

Before the black key could fall into the water, Silas accurately caught it and securely placed it in his chest.

Success! Now he just needed to bring it back...

"Rumble!"

Thunderous roars suddenly exploded in the sky overhead!

Almost in the blink of an eye, the surrounding light rapidly dimmed.

Lead-gray clouds covered the sky, torrential rain poured down, and fierce winds whipped up towering waves.

A certain violent aura instantly filled the entire sea!

"Come back quickly!"

Despite still fighting the King of the Black Seat, the Queen Mystic immediately shouted at Silas, "Don't try to challenge the storm!"

This wasn't a suggestion, it was a warning!

From the storm, Silas sensed a terrifying pressure. It was the tyrant of the seas rampaging, demanding that all creatures within its domain submit!

This was the residual divine power from the God War ruins...

He immediately understood.

To resist this kind of power, the consequences were unimaginable!

However, Silas was already in the midst of the storm. He had nowhere to hide.

To the tyrant, not bowing before Him was an act of defiance!

"Rumble!"

A bolt of lightning struck down, precisely hitting Silas.

He avoided it using Flaming Jump, but immediately, a second and third bolt followed in quick succession, relentlessly pursuing him.

"Whoosh..."

A fierce storm formed around him, whipping up waves over ten meters high!

In such a storm, suspended in midair, Silas could barely hold on. He felt himself locked onto by an extremely violent force.

All because he remained airborne in the storm, offending this residual divine power!

The two massive ships tossed about in the wind like two tiny leaves.

"Meow..."

Silas heard Luna's voice and saw the small black cat flung out from the broken hole in the ship.

Oh no!

"Swish!"

Silas rushed over at full speed and caught her before she fell into the water.

He was about to fly back into the Dawn's cabin when he suddenly sensed an unprecedented crisis.

Turning his head, he saw a hurricane rolling toward him from the distance.

It connected the clouds above to the sea below, more exaggerated than any legendary description.

It looked like a coiling serpent intent on destroying the world!

That hurricane was heading straight for him!
