A full minute of silence passed as William observed the woman. His excitement gradually faded as he began to notice her imperfections.
She wasn't as perfect as he had initially thought.

"What is your name?"
His deep voice echoed off the cold walls.
The woman let out a shaky breath, her eyes still fixed on the floor.
"I... Polly," she whispered.
"Hmm." He frowned. "That's an awful name. I can't call you that."
He ran a hand through his hair.
"From today onward, you shall be called Dana. Is that understood?"
"Y... yes, sir."
"Not 'sir.' Master. You will address me as your master." His voice turned cold.
Fear coursed through her veins at the sudden change in his tone. "O-Okay... Master."
A smile finally spread across his face.
"Good girl."
