Gerald looked at the female emperor, watching her hop and bounce the way he did before fighting for two days straight without any rest. That could mean two things: there was an emperor who managed to tell her about him, or that she was here the entire time.
And since Gerald had done that almost right at the beginning, and he was sure all the emperors who could've seen it were now on the mountain of corpses beneath him.
There might also be a chance that this emperor could see the past or read minds—but still, that wouldn't change the fact that Gerald didn't feel or sense her at all… and he could see and sense an ant from a mile away.
He continued to watch the emperor mock him—no. That was wrong.
Gerald quickly noticed the emperor wasn't doing that to mock him at all. There might've been a smirk on her face, and her needle-like teeth were showing… but she was doing all of that to taunt him.
