Haruto flexed his fingers and quickly forced himself to focus on programming in his only and 'preferred' text editor, notepad.
Programming in the C++ like language was not all that difficult since Haruto was used to it by now, but he still felt like he could do better.
'I should really get onto making that new operating system once I make my own chip… an operating system tailored precisely to the hardware that it works on would be so much faster and cleaner… like Apple when they released their M1 Chip Mac Books.'
Haruto drew in ascii art for a paddle, a ball and a court before quickly writing code to spawn them all in the game of pong in the console.
After that Haruto quickly created the program for controlling one of the paddles' with the keyboard while the other paddle followed the movement of the ball bouncing around the screen.
Haruto quickly added a loose condition after that and a scoring system which counted points for whoever passed the ball behind the enemy's paddle, showing the score in the middle of the field separated by the dividing line of the court.
A few quick rounds of debugging later, Haruto was filled with emotion as the first game of pong began on his computer.
He played for a few quick rounds before sighing wistfully.
'If only there was the ability to do screen shake, add some particles and add a banger music theme…'
Haruto played for a while longer before calling it quits since the game he'd worked for nearly half an hour to create didn't quite fill the void in his chest.
'I need people who can make serious games…'
Haruto sighed before returning the machine to the pool for it to be turned into a model training horse so that he could finish training the model by the end of the week and walked away.
'I also need to look into that machine that Kakashi asked me to make…'
'How would I make it though… how can a machine even control the chakra in the human body to make it perform jutsus?'
'I remember there are seals in the original show that could stop chakra flow inside the body to prevent the shinobi from performing a jutsu… the seals are even used in the Interrogation and Torture Department to block the chakra flow of the prisoners captured…'
'Can that seal be modified somehow to create a seal that can control the chakra inside the human body to perform jutsus?'
'What do you guys think?'
'Hard to say without knowing the way the seal works…' Edward responded immediately.
Unohana took a little bit of time to think but she said something interesting that piqued Haruto's attention, 'Couldn't you manipulate the human mind to control the chakra directly?'
Gindelwald smiled when that was brought up as he explained the idea that had come to his mind, 'Especially if you find a way to combine Legilimency with seals in your world… you could order the mind to automate scrubbing through all the possible combinations of chakra levels in a tenketsu to find the least chakra density of a tenketsu. Much like pressing a button to scrub through to the next clearest radio station.'
Haruto just stepped into his house when Grindelwald and Unohana laid out their opinions so his eyes widened significantly.
'That could work… what a nice idea!'
'But for that to work I would need at least some basic sealing knowledge to convert legilimency knowledge into seals and also the legilimency knowledge obviously…'
'I can assign you another mission for the legilimency knowledge if you wish, Haruto…'
Haruto nodded, 'That would be much appreciated.'
Grindelwald nodded and issued a new mission to Haruto.
Mission Aim : Prevent a Yamanaka Shinobi's intrusion into your mind.
Mission Assigned By : Gellert Grindelwald.
Mission Reward : Grindelwald's Legilimency Knowledge.
Haruto was a little surprised by the mission parameters this time from Grindelwald.
'Prevent a mental intrusion…? How would I even find a Yamanaka to do this?'
'Do I just hire them by posting a mission?'
'I won't put restrictions on you for that Haruto… as long as you finish the mission I'll grant you my knowledge.' Grindelwald quickly spoke his piece leaving Haruto to ponder on how he would fulfil the mission.
Taking a quick shower to clean himself, Haruto lay down on his bed to deal with absorbing Unohana's memories once again.
He entered the template inventory space and sat down under the tree and closed his eyes so that no one would disturb him for the time being.
'Let's see… Unohana established Soul Society with Yamamoto yesterday… what'll she do today?'
Haruto with his eyes closed appeared in his mind palace, a place he'd constructed after becoming familiar with Grindelwald's Occlumency powers.
Haruto looked at the books strewn across the floor that had considerably decreased in quantity since yesterday before picking an ominously glowing book off the floor.
It didn't have a title but Haruto flipped a few pages of the book and noticed an Unohana standing beside someone he recognised.
It was a tall man with a pompadour hairstyle with thick sideburns chewing on a stick.
It was Tenjiro Kirinji.
Haruto quickly immersed himself in the memories of the book.
As soon as Haruto did so he was greeted by something real. Something that he desperately desired.
"So…" Kirinji said with a soft frown on his face as he looked at the young Unohana Retsu in front of him. "You finally decided to quit that eleventh division of yours and put that zanpakuto of yours to good use… what miracle got you to put down your sword for good?"
"I should've lost…" Unohana mumbled as she undid the fasteners on her kimono to reveal the cut across her upper chest.
Kirinji lowered himself to stare at the cut, really stare at it for a few seconds before he nodded. "So you rightfully lost that title of yours then… you should be dead then, what're you doing here?"
"He isn't ready to kill me yet." Unohana said in a stern tone like she was facing the greatest humiliation of her life. "So I wish to dedicate myself to the art of healing so that I can create the ultimate weapon against myself and fight by giving it my all one last time."
"Ho… is that so?" Kirinji looked at Unohana with a serious expression for a few seconds before speaking an undiluted tone of superiority, "There's just one lesson in the healing arts… the mind is above matter."
"Mind is above matter?" Unohana repeated softly, puzzled and also intrigued.
"Yes. Mind is above matter. What you can imagine, you can do with Kaido…"
Unohana's eyes sharpened.
She wasn't new to the art of visualisation. In fact, every move of her battle hardened skill set required her to first visualize the defeat of her enemy before she executed her move to the utmost perfection. So Unohana was quite used to the true power that visualization provided.
She was only a little surprised that it could be applied to something other than combat as well.
"To learn Kaido the first step is to learn the human body, because unless you're the Soul King, whatever you can imagine, the body can already do better." Kirinji said before raising his polearm before speaking calmly, "Look at what I'm about to do."
And Kirinji stabbed himself in the chest, right in the heart.
