There weren't any memories of fighting that Haruto got from Unohana's gift. However they were far from a waste. All the memories at this point were of Unohana dissecting bodies to study.
And slowly after thousands of dissections Haruto began to understand what Unohana understood from the dissections, she was studying how the various styles of a user affected their body internally and then she was reconstructing those various styles entirely inside her mind.
The memories were gruesome but informative.
For example, Haruto learnt how the various muscle groups in the body interacted for a swordsman vs a spearman, even swordsmen had various differences in the muscle groups they used based on the different swords they used.
During this wild period of fighting and constant fighting to set up a place where some order would reign supreme, Unohana executed thousands of strong opponents. As such, she quietly developed a system of information in her mind which she called the golden book, a book that held information about the bodies of every conceivable style she had come across.
Haruto first imprinted this book into his mind while constantly generating new ideas about what he could do with such a book, for example, developing a new training style that borrowed elements from each of those thousands of bodies that Unohana had cut down to make a new art form on his own.
But the main benefits from Unohana's memories of dissecting countless bodies, was that Haruto felt his own dissection skills improve at a rapid rate as did his knowledge about the human body.
If Haruto could previously barely tell which part of the body the liver was located by circling the general area in which it would be based on the weight, height and the posture of the body, at present Haruto was sure he could pinpoint the exact place the man's parathyroid glands, four glands about three millimeters small located behind the thyroid gland in the neck, were exactly located.
Haruto slowly learnt where the nerves in the human body were located in more excruciating detail than he'd ever thought possible. He learnt which nerves moved exactly which parts of the body and which nerves made one feel the most pain. Comparing Kakashi's teachings to what Unohana's memories held made him feel like he was comparing ants to a whole new universe.
Haruto's eyes slowly opened to the ways in which the human body could be manipulated to perform under extreme conditions. Unohana's constant experimentation with her fallen foes showed Haruto just how wide the world of martial arts really was even if he only just got a glimpse of it because all these memories were related to Unohana's medical expertise.
Since these memories were chosen by the system from Unohana Retsu, he could feel like his mind had expanded at the end of it all, as if it had just been injected with the distilled essence of Unohana's medical experience and knowledge. And since these memories were due to be merged into his own mind, all these skills were permanently etched into his being.
Shifting through all those memories, Haruto's experience in filing and storing memories rapidly improved too. To some extent, it could be said that by simply observing and cataloguing nearly two hundred years of Unohana's life, Haruto had gotten to a level near Grindelwald in handling memories, he had acquired the finesse which was missing earlier.
Haruto paused there and opened his eyes.
While there was no serious medical knowledge present in the memories he'd scanned till now, he was still satisfied by everything he'd merged with himself so far, since not only had it made him a better shinobi at the end of the day, it had also made him a formidable fighter given his knowledge of the human body.
If he were compared to shinobi from the show at this point, Haruto was sure that he could pull off some crazy moves like Kabuto's nerve rearranging gimmick by simply using the pressure points located in the human body.
'Unfortunately there's no chakra in Unohana's world… or I'd have even been able to pin point tenketsu locations in the human body like a Hyuga even without the Byakugan.'
Haruto looked around at the inhabitants of his Template Inventory Space who were looking at him with a dazed look.
"How long was I out for?" Haruto asked softly and Megamind responded first, "Fourteen hours and twenty three minutes. It's eight thirty five in the morning now."
Haruto's eyes widened. "Fourteen hours!? Damn!!!! I need to rush!!"
"Were there any memories regarding explosions? Big bright explosions? Medium but loud explosions? Small but devastating explosions?! Any explosion, even a mirco explosion will do-"
"It was all about skinning a man alive…" Haruto blandly interrupted Megumin causing her to widen her eyes and look at Unohana in horror.
"How much of it did you absorb Haruto-kun?" Unohana asked softly while ignoring Megumin's look of horror, since it seemed like she was rather eager to know how much better Haruto now understood her just like she did him.
Haruto smiled and said in an equally calm tone, "About twenty percent of it. All the way until you finally formed Soul Society."
Unohana's eyes widened and opened slightly wider than the slits they always were as she smiled proudly.
"I cannot wait for our evening spar to come sooner."
"Haha… is it wrong of me to say that I'm a little afraid of it now that I know just how much you've been holding back against me all this time?" Haruto said softly, scratching his head as he did to show his worry.
His hands were trembling as he thought of the sheer violence he'd witnessed in Unohana's memories but quickly calmed down as the memories of the dissections in his mind slowly became part of his own self, like he was the one doing them.
"Fufufufu, you're going to embarrass this lady…" Unohana quietly laughed behind her hand before Haruto nodded in her direction and told everyone a short goodbye before leaving the Template Inventory Space.
He then took a quick short shower before quietly skipping breakfast and rushing to Training Ground Seven.
Kakashi looked up as Haruto arrived and paused for a second, feeling that something about Haruto today was different from his usual self but he couldn't pinpoint what it was, eventually he simply spoke casually since it wasn't his business to probe into what Haruto was doing in his free time.
"Go to Daichi today once again… he'll have you doing something unique and will help you learn a new jutsu."
"A new jutsu?" Haruto asked, almost excitedly until he remembered the ROOT and quietly adjusted the tone of his voice and expression, doing so without even using Occlumency because he now felt like he had better control over his facial muscles after watching Unohana skin people's faces over a million times while they were alive.
Kakashi nodded and spoke calmly, "I heard you've been doing well over the past two weeks, so it's time you progressed onto something more difficult. Daichi thinks you'll do good as a medic so he's excited to teach you medical ninjutsu."
"Daichi… excited to teach?" Haruto asked in a deadpan way.
Kakashi chortled before nodding, "Regardless of how he looks, he has feelings."
"Alright… alright… whatever you say…" Haruto nodded and turned around before walking away, as he did, Kakashi realised why he was feeling the difference.
'Is it because of the silence?'
Haruto walked up to Daichi once again in the Interrogation and Torture department and this time Daichi raised his eyebrows as soon as he spotted Haruto.
'His feet are quieter today…'
'He's finally learnt to control the muscles in his legs and walk without applying excessive force on his feet.'
