"Are you a boy?" Beck asked with full curiosity as he goes eye to eye with Aleyna.
In a split second, a fist landed on his face without he even able to react.
"What are you saying now, huh? Crazy bastard...!" Aleyna's eyes lit up with fire of rage. She cracks her knuckles, ready to give a whole lot of her fist to his face again.
Amidst the chaos between them, a faint grumble could be heard echoing. The both of them were startled by the sound and both were silent for a moment.
"Don't tell me... You're hungry at a time like this?" She looks unbelievably at his belly.
Is this girl for real? Beck released a heavy sigh I guess she never seen the monster before. It's clearly normal for someone like her to react like that. But now what... His eyes wander to the class door, looking for any sign of the monster getting nearer. I can just run away with my ability if it really appear but this little daughter of satan... He diverted his eyes to Aleyna again She won't survive this. At all... 100%. A heavy sigh was released again.
Veins became visible on her head, "Are you asking for another punch, huh...?! Why are you sighing so much?" She was frustrated by the constant sigh.
"Why are you kids still here at a time like this?" A voice of a man asking from outside the class. But it doesn't seems like there was even somebody outside. "Don't you want to go home?" He added.
Upon hearing the voice, Beck's heart beating faster than normal already. He began to sweating in fear. Fear of meeting the monster that could end his life once again.
"Oh, sorry, sir. We'll be going." Aleyna said as she pokes Beck's belly with her elbow. "Let's continue later." She whispered.
Is this a bait...? Is it baiting us out? If so, why? Why doesn't it just attack us right now? It's not like we're too far away from the door that it can't reach with it's long arm... Tons of questions forming in his mind. The fear had already overtaken the way he's thinking.
But Aleyna, who doesn't have the slightest clue about the monster, approach the door with ease to continue her way home.
"Wa... Aleyna...!" Beck called for her.
Aleyna turns around and look at Beck again. "What? Still not satisfied? Wanna go another round?"
"N– no... Let's walk out together. I... I'm... Afraid of being alone in school." Beck was forcing a smile on his face.
Aleyna looks at him with disgust. "Seriously... Fine." She continue walking.
Beck quickly picks up his backpack to not be so further away from Aleyna. All this time I teleported, things like my shirt also came along. So, this time... I'll try to bring Aleyna with my ability... Hope it will be successful and not ended up making her body explode like what happened in experiments in science fiction movies... Another negative thought flooded his mind. Either way, he just followed her closely.
"What are you doing?" Aleyna glanced at him with another disgusted expression.
"I... I'm scared." He laugh nervously.
Aleyna's expression become more disgusted. "Tch. Do whatever you want. If you're trying to do anything stupid, I'll just report you."
"Okay okay."
Once the situation resolved, Beck slowly stretching out his arm and reaching for the back of Aleyna's. As she stepped outside the classroom, Beck's finger is already an inch away from her but surprisingly, she exit the classroom without any kind of danger.
What...?! Beck was taken aback by the calm situation.
"Eh, where's the mister just now?" Aleyna search left and right, but don't see any sign of life. "Weird... Just how fast does that mister move?"
Great... Good thing that we don't have to stumble upon the monster. I surely don't want to just show my ability to any random person. Beck can finally take it easy for now as he released a sigh of relief. Him sighing was noticed by Aleyna who is still on edge around Beck. Her eyes narrowed looking at him without voicing a single word.
After a while, they exited the school safely without any trouble that came along the way. And Beck yet again released another sigh of relief.
"Hey, you." Index finger pointing towards Beck in arrogantly manner. "Don't feel relieved yet. This is not over." She said as she slowly backing and finally turned around and walk away.
Damn, that girl... Just because she's a student council...! He was frustrated.

The door was opened as Beck rushed into his bedroom and throws himself onto the bed in exhaustion. The feeling of finally able to lie down relaxing him, making him slowly dozen off... Before he got cruelly woken up by his brother. His butt was smacked hard.
"Ack...!"
"Get up. Dinner's ready." Jonathan said. Then, he walked out.
Gee, too lazy to even eat now... But Beck forced himself to get up and go to the dining room anyway.
At another side of the universe, planet Laynt, at the land of Valenicry village, or at least what left of it, a group of soldiers in dark metallic armors were roaming around the camp, searching for any lifeform that is left to be exterminated. But the only things they found along the way were the dead bodies of the fallen warriors of Valenicry. "Disgusting!" One of them kicked on the head of a dead body.
"You are not to be disrespecting our clan warriors!" Elder Broyak said with pissed expression on her face. "You dirty soldiers of the west." Her tone low almost like a grumble.
The words of her angered the soldiers. "You old bi–"
"Now now~ Chill down right there." A voice interrupted them. But the soldiers were all standing straight quickly. "It is not a good thing to hit an elderly woman after all. Am I right?" The knight with the javelin said with a smile.
"Y- Yes, sir."
"Hello there, granny. Considering how old are you looking right now, you must be the surviving elder of Valenicry from previous attack, right?" His voice carries mischief.
Elder broyak spare a menacing glance at first. "You dirty arprienians... Our clan was destroyed and crushed to the ground because of your filthy leader decided to step on our land! You, trashes are not even worthy of this land! You shall back to the shithole where you came from!" She shout at the top of her lungs, voicing out all her anger at the knight.
"You know granny... I sure don't hit elderly but," Before Elder Broyak even able to react, a spear pierced her abdomen. "I can still harm you any other way." He said coldly. The spear was pulled out quick, letting the elder to fall back to the ground with blood gushing out from the wound like punctured water tank, her mouth spitting out blood. The knight was just watching her as she was losing blood heavily moment by moment.
After it settled down, the knight orders the soldiers to go back to the their gathering point in front of the camp before he move himself. As everyone finally cleared out the area, the knight start moving too. But while walking, a surge of energy can be felt from behind him. As he turns his head to see what is behind him, a knife lunges straight towards his head. By spinning his head back, he managed to evade any critical injury to his head but the knife managed to graze his face. Suddenly, everything is silent again. The attack didn't come with any follow up nor anyone can be seen behind him anymore. What was that just now... He wondered.
"Reniel. We're moving now." Said the knight that holds an axe on his back.
"Okay. Let's move." He just brushed it off. Nothing can be done by overthinking sbout it anyway.
Early morning sun rises and annoys people as usual the next day. Beck was one of the victim of the sunlight that beam through people's window every morning. The school passes by as usual until afternoon. Beck have yet another detention class to go through in the afternoon.
As Beck was held back in detention class, Aleyna was persistently waiting for him to finish to continue her interrogation.
"Alright, that's all for this evening. Make sure to pack your things properly, don't left anything behind. Tomorrow is school break. School will be locked." The teacher said while packing up her things. "Also, go back home. Don't loiter around."
Everyone exited the classroom hurriedly in excitement except Beck. Because he knows that behind that very door, lies a girl who has been held by her own delusion. Aleyna's figure can be seen standing in front of the door, waiting for Beck to come out. Upon seeing her, Beck release a sigh. Here goes nothing...
"Beck, confess." She was pointing right at his face.
"Confess what? About what? For starter, you didn't even mention anything useful yesterday." Beck knew about what he is accused of, but he have to play innocent to escape her grip.
"The damaged locker. I saw how you saw at it." She answered. "Once you took a look at it, you're suddenly panicked silently as you walk away from the scene."
Geez, this girl... Despite so stupid, she's so sharp at that huh? This is getting harder now. He groans in frustration.
"Listen here, Aleyna–" A sharp feeling struck him like a lightning. He knew a danger is approaching him. "Shit!" He grabs Aleyna's hand and run.
"What are you doing?!" She enraged by his bold move.
"Doesn't matter what I'm doing! Run first!" Beck's face was filled with worries. At that moment, Aleyna began to question herself about what makes the insolent boy in front of her suddenly so afraid.
They ran from the classroom and took a turn but Beck's mistake, that was the very place where the thing that he afraid of is. A big humanoid figure with the head of a lizard filled the gaps in the hallway. Just by standing still at the hallway, sent shivers down their spines.
At the very least, Beck had already known of it's existence but Aleyna is different. She had never known of it's existence. It was the first time she had seen something out of normal. That experience making her legs trembles in fear and lose all the strength to even stand as she dropped on her knees.
Despite her being not able to move, Beck refuses to even left her as he pulls her back with his strength and run but surprisingly, there is another one just ahead but smaller.
Shit! Another one?! No wonder why the guy behind looks bigger than usual. Turned out what I saw was this guy not that. All Beck can do was smirking in the face of danger.
But just by standing still doing nothing, might as well let yourself get eaten by the monsters. "Seems like I still got to do what I can eh...?" Beck pulls out a pen out of his pocket and launch himself towards the smaller one while Aleyna watches him from behind.
The monster swing it's arm towards Beck but it was faster than he expected. Suddenly, Beck disappear from Aleyna's line of sight. And the monster suddenly scream in pain. Beck was already behind it, and stabbed it's back with his pen. Wha– How...?! Aleyna was confused. How was he suddenly behind that monster? She questioned.
Meanwhile, the bigger monster began his move. It swings it's arm towards Aleyna and smashed the tiles in fron of it. It turns out that it was far from able to reach her. It keeps swinging it's arm desperately to reach her but still can't, and finally gives up.
Ha? Beck was taken aback by it's behavior. What is this? A comedic show?
The moment Beck dropped his guard due to the surprise, the smaller monster quickly swings his arm backward and managed to hit Beck, throws him onto the wall. Beck took full damage of the hit and also damage from the impact of hitting the wall, causing him to wheeze hard from short breath.
Ah, shit... We're really dying like this eh... He thought.
As it was trying to attack Beck once more, a knife flew right onto it's eye, causing it to roar in absolute pain. Then, a figure of a woman appeared with a short sword and easily slice off one of the monster's arm. She then change the trajectory of her sword, aiming for the neck of the monster. But from the ground, a tail emerged like a spike that thrust upward. She managed to evade it by jumping back.
"Beck!" She calls for Beck. Surprisingly, her voice is familiar to Beck. "Hing raht uit ashwe!"
This voice... Roxza??? Beck was surprised yet again. Shit! I can't be still like this. She told me to get the girl! Beck got up and quickly reach for Aleyna who was totally frozen in place out of fear.
"Oi, get up!" He slapped her right on the face without hesitation. "What? You think I'd pity you just because you're afraid now? Get up!" He pulls her up. Another mistake of his, he forgot to take the big guy in consideration.
The bigger monster got closer to Aleyna's spot already while they were fighting the smaller one. It swing it's arm again as Beck was swallowed by emptiness as his instinct took over. They disappeared from the spot... And then reappeared at the land of blue earth.
"Where... Is this...?" Aleyna's firs word after a while.
"Wait for me here. I'll come back. And do not move anywhere!" Beck strictly warned her as he teleports away, back to the school again. And Aleyna could only look at him as he disappear again.
How did he even do that...?
