Two million images, that punch is going to destroy the entire island if Yone doesn't control the impact and prepare this trap. A double framed target will receive a punch four times stronger than usual. Nevertheless, those two frames also work as a special cage, the entire 100% of the energy will be trapped inside it until the frame breaks itself.
*Also, this punch is only at island power when the impact is driven eventually through the entire structure.
I'm not going to yap about mathematics anymore, but you guys must know that this strike is around 3.7 x 10^15 Joules, which means an approximate amount of 884 kilotons of TNT is going to explode just inside that frame. The even more diabolical thing is its function, as I said, framed targets will get "true damage" eventually provided through their bodies.
For example, the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima in our history is 15 kilotons of TNT. And don't just underestimate those 884 kilotons just because this is an imaginary world with Aura and magic. Even without radiation, that punch is incredibly around 59 times stronger than that nuclear bomb.
According to records, there's 4000 celsius at the center when Little Boy hit the ground. They evaluated that in 1.5 kilometers to 2 kilometers, human skin evaporated immediately. And for the next few seconds, the shockwave exceeded the sonic barrier almost thirteen times, unleashed itself, then cleared everything in the way. They assumed, in the zone of entirely four point eight kilometers, two-thirds of the buildings were destroyed at many levels.
If that fist hit the ground, a zone of 1.6 kilometers would be nothing left, as a crater. Further, the zone of total 7 kilometers would remain without building due to the pressure of the shockwave. Even bigger than that, in the zone of 19 kilometers, the seemingly permanent blazing firestorm would burn everything to the ground. Not yet, face one direction, then scratch a line of 30 kilometers and draw a circle on the ground. That zone would bear the wrath of five to six Richter earthquakes.
And that was all the simulation made with the wind resistance and energy loss. The amount of 884 kilotons of TNT, the destroyed zone of 19 kilometers, whatever. It doesn't matter at all. Because when we put that impact all inside the frame, the only thing we may want to know is Adevon's going to survive through it?
*Crack* – Finally, it finally breaks down with fragments of space.
*Bang* – The continuous barrage of thousands of bombs even draws upon the entire space a master of firework. Over and over again, one shines up, one fades away. And just like that, they have won.
"See? It doesn't matter how strong you are, we still have enough power to kill a Baron like you." – Under the red gaze of the moon, Luker says what he believes as truth.
"Don't be cocky, brat."
*Clash* – Clashing their weapons, Adevon keeps his eyes watching that guy, "I am the descendant of Lord Lucius."
"Don't you even forget it?"
*Clash* – Knocking the opponent away, he rushes forward as a panther.
"Latimas." – A call.
*Clash* – Then a two meters high corpse rises up from the blood ocean parries that claws strike for him.
"All of you."
*Splosh* – Raising from the blood, a bunch of bones form a trap to lock that demon's legs, pulling Adevon down, slowly.
Seems like I must not get into this blood ocean. Adevon swings the claws, wiping all the roadblocks away.
"Don't you get tired of doing that trick?" – Adevon mocks.
"Not yet, are you?"
"Yes you f*ing bastard!" – Rushing forward, Adevon starts using his spiritual power to clash straight at the debuff from that red moon.
As I said, all creatures have bodies, souls and minds. This soul field is somewhat like a domain capturing souls of the opponents. And instead of using Aura to counter as usual, Adevon has to use spiritual power to do the same thing.
Soul field is quite unique and secret, perhaps the true description might be explained by the almighty ones like Sage or Grand Sages. Yet, we can now determine that Luker isn't wasting his advantage.
Soul Field: "Moon over Sea, Bloody" is the name of this spiritual prison. And The Gaze of Blood is automatically applied on any targeted soul here for debuffs.
All from that eye. Gazing at the moon floating behind Luker, Adevon is aiming to do something crazy.
"Let's set our end here, then go back to your Hell."
The blessing of Lady Blood has been activated.
"Shall we?" – For another time, Adevon has started with another rush forward.
The third form of existence, mind. It is "us," the "we" that control our spiritual form via souls, our body via brains, the self-awareness of self-existence. This third form of existence can't be generated or created by humans in any form. Chimera Merging only merges the mind of living materials into one with no guarantee of quality. If you merge a human and many beasts for a merged monster, the chance for it to be aggressive and dumb is very high. The mind can be absorbed during this process, after surviving the elimination, it still needs to face the mutual mind-devouring.
*That is why Loye decided to kill RampThica immediately when she saw that beast. As I said, RampThica is special, but no one knows the truth behind her existence. So claiming her as a normal Chimera, then via judgment, it makes sense to say that she required a lot of sacrifices as human beings to be formed.
But let's get into the issue right now. To be specific, the mind can be divided into many fragments. In the past, there was an Ability called Parallel Mind, it allowed the user to work a lot of things at the same time. Don't underestimate it, the crazy thing about it was the omniscience in casting spells. Yet, I'll save it for later, this is related to one "monster" among humans.
So do you think a normal existence can split its mind into two pieces for doing two works at once? No, it can't. But Adevon isn't a normal existence, he is the Baron of Western of Paizuzu's lands. The underrated one in the Baro rank.
*Bang* – A deep cut has been carved into that neck, almost splitting it away from the body. Torun feels so happy since he didn't disable the explosive orbs around him. That core is going to unleash something.
"Back up, he's reviving." – Yone holds Algamos tight, he's also hiding a trump card.
"Can you hit that core, Kura?" – Yone asks the one, who's just been standing there since the demon was framed, around six seconds have passed.
"I swear if I just could." – Enhancing his eyes to the limit, Kura still can not find the object Yone described.
"Take time, at least we will have three more minutes until this domain collapses."
"I'm trying." – He just doesn't stand there as a pillar, Kura also fuses all the chains together, ready for the very first up-coming movement from Adevon.
"Welcome all the guests to admire this side of mine." – A spine-chilling greeting.
"This is all up to you, humans." – Adevon reborns from nothing left, those eyes are hunting.
Hunting for the weakest link of that formation.
"I see." – He disappears.
He's coming!
*Clang* – Nice parry, Kura has successfully covered Torun with his fused chain. Yet, it's made by a fact that Adevon wasn't trying to take Torun down in that strike. It's like a bait, he pretended to attack then feinted it mid-movement while switching the target to Kura.
"Don't be in such a hurry."
*Boom* – Overflowing Power only limits him in transferring power to his hands, then he can move it later at his will. By hitting Adevon back to back, the entire 500% maximum output is released immediately when the chance opens up.
Even though it was not damaged that much, although it only boosted the acceleration of Adevon, it's already useful to skew the accuracy of those claws.
*Thud* – Different from others' strikes, Kura's are way heavier. This is caused by his special to impossible physique of Cylian. Do you know how heavy he is? Counting everything together, the total mass compressed inside that body is crazily 250 kilograms.
Furthermore, he can also concentrate and intertwine more Aura into each cell of his body to reach the mass of a ton. This special technique is simply like Guard yet, humans' bodies can't bear a lot of Aura pressed inside their cells. That's why Guard was invented to build up a dense shield around them.
With that crazy physique, Kura is already able to maximize Guard by just concentrating them all inside himself. The only disadvantages are the high cost of Aura and the durability loss of his own muscles, which aren't that expensive for Kura.
As we all know, with the same speed, the heavier objects carry more energy than the lighter ones. His perfect muscles allow him to move even swiftlier than usual after reaching a ton of mass. Also known as the advantage in combat trade. Unlike Torun, Kura isn't a type of explosive fighter. He's more likely a tank directly crushing everything ahead with those two bare hands. Yet, he doesn't fight with only these hands, he has chains, those chains are even more diabolical when Kura enters this state. It's not a joke to compare him with the current strongest Golden Hunter.
Heavy! That face of Avedon just got carved in, the blood just overflew both his nose and the edges of mouth.
*Clash* – Sketching on his skin, the claws left no wound at all.
This brat, what the f* is this durability? Not even a scratch?
*Thud* – Second hit, that fist of Kura destroyed the entire ground of the Kaleidoscope World - cracking it into many fragments.
"Nice one." – Over eight thousand images have been accumulated, with twenty thousand more added.
*Smack* – A swift kick sent that demon flying away.
*Boom* – Torun has nothing to say, his face just looks like "Why not?" instead.
Coercively leaping back toward Kura, he swings his claws delicately mid-air
*Clash* – Shooting the wind slashes, both Torun and Hazen got delayed in backing up Kura. Yone has more advantage in speed, yet, he still can't catch up with that movement of Adevon.
It's not even 0.018 second yet, the total images he could collect were just 902 exactly.
*Bang* – The Aura of two fists are so powerful that the impact applied on the air between them burns up to thousand celsius. With the enhanced mass, durability, output and endurance, Kura now can clash with Adevon fist to fist without a drop of sweat.
*Crack* – Soon realizing the disadvantage, Kura instantly bursts more Aura toward his fists. Landing them twice on the demon, he pushed it back to the range of Torun's bombs.
Those winds can erode my Aura and tear down my flesh. Now a sweat drops down on his face, this is dangerous.
Is he really a Baron? This power… The thought is left half way finished.
And he's not the only one here having that conjecture, Yone is frowning.
This guy… can't only be a Baro Magnus.
"Didn't you become confident since the moment I stepped into this soul field?" – How wicked that smile is.
An eye frown, Luker is frowning.
"Afraid? Or confused? How pathetic."
*Whirr* – The Black Aura around Adevon is getting larger and larger.
And…
Those eyes have turned vicious.
A black circle is drawn upon each eye, eventually five points start linking together in order.
Reversed Pentagram. Yone realizes the issue with the worst face he can ever make.
Also, in the soul field, Luker has already noticed the problem.
"You are not a Baron."
"I never said I was." – Two more wings have grown from nowhere, his true spiritual form is currently released.
"Ah, I wondered why." – Yone smirks, he clowns straight upon himself for this mistake.
"There is no Baron Oridinis IV Magnus under Paizuzu's crown. I guess that name is also faked, isn't it?"
An evil laugh tears down the mirrors to fragments, "You're right, unfortunately, there's no reward for you."
Recalling the legendary item, which was planned to seal Adevon before, Yone accepts the truth that it's now useless.
"Even Lucius, you aren't his descendant, are you?"
"The Lucius you mention might be Marquess Lucius Ademier. Yes, you are right, I'm not his descendant."
"But don't get me wrong, I am truly a descendant of Lord Lucius."
When he heard Lucius and Lord were put into one sentence, he…
The pressure spreads out as a tsunami, "Lord Lucius Kalyndiar Marqos."
It's done, all is done. Lucius Kalyndiar Marqos is one of the strongest demons of Conventus Diabolicus, which can be known as The Round Table of Demon Lords, assembling the strongest thirteen demons with the Lord title and the Seven Demons of Origin.
If there had to be a thing to claim it as a fortune, then Yone would say that Lucius isn't one of those seven demons.
Demons are linked together through bloodline, that's why they praise the purity and disgust the stained low-born wretch. Bloodlines give them a lot of advantage, and one of them is The Protection of Ancestors.
The Blessings of Heaven can be granted through many ways, but there's always four identities that can't be missed:
A slight touch at the shoulders – the contract of a companion.
A point to the forehead – the enlightenment of mind.
A sacred gift on two hands – the promise of protection.
A touch at the heart position – the guidance of holy spirits.
On the contrary, demons also have their own rituals:
The enhancement of the horns – the rank up ritual.
The solemn vow of the heart – the sacrifice for a "fair" deal.
The trade off by one's soul – the promise of absolute faith.
The linked eyes – the connection by bloodline.
And those eyes of reversed pentagram is the clearest evidence for the purity of his bloodline.
Black, it seems like his bloodline isn't flawless, but still high indeed.
What should I do? The sacred box is now useless, should I do it?
No, too risky.
Then he looks at Kura, he's still searching for the core.
Now I get why it's hard for Kura, this is already a demon at Veneratus level.
Tch, perhaps the reason why he can't get to Vicarius rank is the quality of that core.
I wish I just could destroy it with this body, sh*t.
Is this the cost of greed? Yone bites his lips bleeding, he hates himself as much as how he hates this world piece of sh*t.
"Kura…" – He calls.
"I'm trying."
"I know, but it's unnecessary right now. Do everything–"
The order is left half way down to the end, Yone rushes forward, so does Adevon.
*Smack* – Landing a strike toward that face, Yone orders, "–just to survive."
*Bang* – Fist to fist, they both push the opponent backward in the air. Applying his own power, Yone skips the movement by jumping into a moment of it after splitting and rebuilding as frames.
[While using this body in The Great Continent, my power will be bridled by these penalties.]
[Overloading: The accuracy is forced to reduce to 0 until getting recovered by frame burst.]
*Bang* – Five thousand images, they again draw in the combat trade.
[Frames Loss: The stacked frames in Frame Skipping can't be preserved after missing a strike.]
*Thud* – Faster than ever, Yone launched a knee strike toward that face of Adevon.
[Frames can't be stacked for exponential damage.]
*Smack* – Taking that advantage, he again launched a strike.
[If I miss a Perfect Timing in order, Frame Manipulation will be locked in one second.]
*Splash* – Not a perfect timing but Yone just blocked that strike fast enough not to let his body be cut into half. Yet, those claws were still enough to take away his left ribs.
This brat, he's strong. Adevon stabs another strike toward Yone.
*Vsh* – Frame Skipping, Yone also launches another strike toward Adevon. And yes, he's succeeded.
[Each image is consumed reduces 10% base speed of the user–]
*Thud - Ugh!* – Adevon swiftly throws a knee strike toward Yone's belly, it hurts indeed.
This guy, it's so unmatched.
[–until the base speed is reduced to 0%, the user will be framed in three seconds.]
*Smack - Smack* – Two strikes cut through the deadly winds around Adevon, Yone damages his own fist to damage that face as a trade off.
[Exhaust: If the Aura of the user can't endure the cost of the attack, self-framing will be applied.]
*Thud* – Two strikes but only one sound, because they landed at the same time.
[Each self-framing is applied, it raises the total cost for each movement 20% until it exceeds 200% in total–]
*Thud* – Adevon has finally taken back the advantage, Yone has been sent flying away by one strike.
[–Frame Manipulation will be locked for the entire 24 hours.]
[And my name–]
*Vsh* – Frame Skipping, Yone dodged the strike.
[–will be the chant to cancel this contract of equilibrium.]
[All those limits–]
"Yone Grantey." – Calling his own name, Yone throws a strike with a hundred thousand of images all of a sudden.
[–will be canceled, totally.]
*Crack* – Something has been unsealed.
And those eyes shine the light of a maniac.
[While using this item to unleash the attached domain, I need to collect the images myself.]
*Thud* – With no force converted to velocity, Adevon just took that strike with all damage and efficiency. Even though this body is still a limit for Yone to unleash his true power, it's still enough for him to do his best.
[Yet, if the first contract of equilibrium is already canceled, this contract will also be canceled...]
For the next 60 seconds of his life.
"Let's end this, you piece of sh*t."
At the Cathedral, Aetheria has already finished the formation to seal Raigan permanently.
Moonlight – Normal Term
Adomeus – Special Term
Astral Rage (2)
Endless Night – Composite Term
Sky (2)
Platinus
"Have you ever wondered where and why I captured your sister?" – Trying to distract Aetheria, Raigan speaks up.
Boundary (1)
Sun and Moon – Reset all five ritual sigils.
Moonlight – reduced halfway
Eronimus
Astral Rage (2) – reduced halfway
"How cruel, don't you have the heart of a human? She's your sister."
A giggle, "Your older sister."
Parademyk
Sky (2) – reduced halfway
Raga…
No, something's wrong! Cancelling the ritual, Aetheria speeds up himself twentyfold, this is bad.
Aetheria realizes that Raigan shouldn't be able to say anything with the seal right at his throat. And he also notices it's an illusion due to the fact that Raigan didn't chant anything but try to distract him instead.
But… who can get me into this illusion without a trace?
Behind. An announcement wakes him up from the flying thoughts.
*Clash* – For no reason, Aetheria unconsciously trusted that call.
Turn left, above.
*Clash* – Again, that guidance saved him twice.
You are…?
Leap back.
*Crack* – He sounds it clearly, the sound of the smashed floor.
"Aeth." – A familiar call.
Is that? He swiftly turns back.
"Sis?" – His emotion instantly stirs everything up.
*Thud* – Swinging through his sister's body, a giant hammer clashes straight toward Aeth.
Again, his body was controlled to move the right hand forward. It in time worked as a shield preventing his body collapse beneath that strike.
You!?
In front of you.
*Clash* – A scythe swing deflects that hammer away.
And that's exactly the moment Aeth somewhat sees through the veil covering his sight. There's another silhouette standing right next to his sister.
Sis… no, she's not here!
*Bang* – Following the guidance, Aeth attacks straight at that silhouette.
As predicted.
Glaris Grantey is just an illusion made by longing.
*Bang* – As a chain has been removed, this heart of Aeth can't be charmed anymore.
"Raigan!"
*Clash* – "Yo, my glorious knight. How was it? Was that Glaris Grantey simulated perfectly?" – A smirk within, Raigan showed off his scum manner.
"You'd better save that question to ask in Hell."
Hey, I can't remember who you are, but I can sense that you won't have that much time.
I noticed, but you are mistaken about something already.
Huh?
It's not me, but you, will be erased.
What do you mean?
*Clash* – At the same time, that name has been called again.
*Crack* – When that glass breaks beneath the impact, the entire space structure has already been torn down into pieces – Paragon has awakened.
*Bang* – Can't even stand on his legs, Har really has to kneel down to reduce the pressure landing straight on his body, preventing it from collapsing.
*Whirr* – Is that? Witnessing the delicate movements of Paragon by swinging Plaz around him as a tornado, Har soon realizes he needs to move.
Paragon has missed this feeling so much. At the fight with Osiris, Paragon noticed that he had to accumulate as many points as possible into his attack for an instant kill hit. Because the difference between their strength was too impressive to ignore.
Yet, right at this moment, Paragon is really sure that Har isn't that strong. A necromancer and a summoner, can't win against Paragon's brutal power.
*Clack* – Non-stop, he keeps swinging and catching the three-section staff in mid-air.
Since the day he met Aetheria, he had achieved something. He thought that without the System, he was nothing but a normal guy.
So I'll prove myself right here, I'm not that kind of loser!
*Smack - Crack* – Instead of a massive strike, Paragon switches his fighting styles to multi-hits system.
In fact, he hasn't reached the level of impacting space structure at will as Ian, but he can break it down even more with the only requirement being the broken spot in space structure. In short, he can now see the blurry edge of the rift, the broken spot in space structure.
Aeth mentioned three things they should know to do Space Breaker and one of them is the sensing the spot where he can break the space.
Paragon is now available.
*Bang* – Acknowledging the problem, Har bursts all his Aura to cover himself inside Guard with the very maximum output. It's not a big deal at the start, but each time that weapon cracks the space, each time his two arms feel heavier.
These two dragons, damn it. Har can't escape at the start due to their ability of locking up the space as a prison, let alone to try again beneath this rain of strikes.
It's even worse when all of his four shadow beasts are now unable to back him up, furthermore, Har isn't built with an insane durability. All he relied on was the incredible regeneration and now it's gone, he's so done.
To be honest, since the moment the team of Paragon arrived, Har had already stopped abusing overwhelming power like The Gate of Anomaly, Ultimate Move or Fusion Move. The reason is really obvious, he has lost twice.
With the sudden and incredible boost in many fields while fighting Yuiz, Har achieved a new vision upon this world. Yet, he couldn't use it wisely. The moment he felt down because of exceeding the limit of that body stroke into his awareness of superficiality. And he hates it, to his bones.
The second failure was counted when Loye almost took away his life. Despite the 80% speed of light he used, it only took Loye over a second to send him near death. Har soon realized the weakness in his moveset, it should not be quantity but quality. Yes, he can perform many things, but not such a thing.
And the main reason for these failures is his efficiency. Compared to others, Har has unlimited Aura, an insane physique, regeneration and abilities. As a trade off, he has more things than others to work with, in order to find out the best way he should use them. His abilities support each other to form various combos, but the fact that it can't do much is beneath the supreme power of Loye. It changes the logic inside his mind, he must master at least one ability before he faces Loye again.
The girl that he didn't even care about her name was just a brat. Har didn't think he can practice anything by testing on her, so eliminating the roadblock is normal.
And guess what, even god gave him four targets to do whatever he wanted. At least, that's what he thought.
Testing everything, he somewhat got the common sense of battle that he'd lost since his abilities grew so fast. Adrenaline, dopamine and the fun, all of them just beat his heart faster. He can't lie to himself that it caused him trouble, but as I said, we can't determine which is right or wrong in many cases, but worthy or not. Just for Har currently, he demands this kind of challenge. A carp can't ascend to a dragon without the will to challenge the waterfall. If Har didn't have this bravery to face the matched fight, how would he step forth?
Here it comes, the flash back of the antagonist!
"Your martial style is full of patches." – A carefree evaluation of "Moon."
"Mine?" – He looked at the terrain around him, it's totally destroyed.
"The efficiency of your Aura is only 40% maximum."
"Is it that low?"
"So why do you think it can't be?" – Acertia asked a reversed question.
Of course, Har didn't say a thing.
"You have a practical infinite Aura yourself and your maximum output is ridiculously insane based on your experience." – She duked a face.
Blowing the dense wave of smoke through her lips, "I wonder how bad were you trained by the old messenger*"
*Messenger is the term used to mention who work directly under Celestial Moon or higher rank.
"Aetheria didn't teach me anything."
"Aeth… Aetheria?" – Frowning her eye lids, she didn't hear that name in the list of Celestial Messenger (C-M).
"I don't think it's his true name, codename, don't you think?"
"I'm not bothered. He's my partner, no matter what his name is, that's it." – Har declared.
"Alright alright, whatever."
"So, as you can see. Your potential power has been wasted terribly." – Acertia stood up and approached her "student."
Gazing straight at Har, "That's why I'm here, to train you as strong as me currently in two years."
"Look at me, can you do it…"
Lesson One: Concentrating the Aura to break its entire structure - reforming.
At that moment, the darkness had been released, among the forest of oak trees. It spreads out as the tidal wave, gently absorbing everything into its endless hunger. Fear it, the realm no light dares to shine.
Space is the endless solvent for Aura, that's why domain casters must draw the barrier around the specific zone before capturing it. Differently, Har chose to concentrate the Aura until the entire structure was reformed into a much harder one to be broken.
Imagine the Aura as water, the liquid with a bunch of hydrogen and oxygen particles moving around without an order. When it turns to ice, the connections between those particles are made to form a specific structure.
The evolution of Aura users can't be stopped at the Ultimate Move, Fusion Move or Imaginary Function, but the unique structure of Aura concentrated by themselves. It isn't a joke that Sage Andrew invented his own Breathing Technique to teach people a specific way to achieve the same structure in fire Aura as him.
Alyn and Maiya also performed their own ways to reform ice into many different phases, upgrading their power into something crazy. Somewhat alike, other elements can also be explained the same way but the particle of each element is just different. And don't forget that Aura is just an essence simulated the basic elements of this world.
Just like that, Har learnt from Alyn's experience and invented this kind of Aura. It costs him a lot of power to reform it, and also maintain it in that formation. Yet, it doesn't matter since the moment the entire zone of one mile has been filled by his new darkness.
The reason that Dualtigra, Lamti, Gala and Hamung were enhanced inside Abyssal Gluttony was because of the overflowing Aura of Har continuously transmitting into them.
As I said, if the quantity exceeds the limit, it will change the quality. RampThica was given two extra arms and a half-snake body, Hamung, Gala and Lamti were evolved in both muscles and output. However, Dualtigra is truly potential, an extra head and a couple of wings were given. Currently, those advantages aren't too obvious, but some days, they'll be, incredibly.
With this field covered by the even denser Aura of Har, they again evolved. But it's not the only power this field granted to Har.
*Clap* – The four shadow beasts are instantly recalled back to the darkness.
*Clap* – Merging them all into an orb of shadow essence, Har finally reaches his peak of creation. A continuously twisting vortex linked straight at shadowverse, where thousands of corpses are waiting. At the center, a savage mouth full of bone blades stretches out as a way to devour.
Three limbs break the shell and land on the shadow floor; a unique and weird coupe of left wings slightly covers the entire object; a unique and enormous bestial arm with spikes has already grown at the point no one knew. Non-stop, a bunch of tentacles aggressively spread out as an unstoppable disaster upon this zone.
New Merged Shadow Beast: Orighith – The Hunger of Abyss.
At the very start, Paragon has withdrawn and accumulated a bunch of Aura into Plaz, meanwhile, Pyan and Leo just got freed from facing the beasts. Alan has already recovered nice and neat.
Sounds great! Now look at…
"Never mind, it's not great at all." – It's hard to admit, but Paragon feels like he's going to give up facing this raid boss with his System locked currently.
"What should we do?" – Pyan looks at Paragon.
Paragon looks at him, "No plan at all, free style."
"Sounds great, hell yeah." – A suffocating sigh, Leo still strokes his hair as usual.
"Guess that we should do it again, don't you all think?" – He offers.
Paragon's turn, "Let's see, with this high cost of Aura, I don't think he's going to be able to use his domain."
"Well, I hope so." – A laugh, Alan burns up the two flames merged into one.
Domain Expansion (patched): Evening Moon of Misty Forest.
Pyan, Alan and Leo instantly use their own hand gestures. With specific missions, Alan uses Mold and Bind to create a lot of Aura weapons with his 120% maximum output. Leo spreads the mist around to clash with the darkness, yet, getting absorbed.
"Leo, hold the zone, I'll do it." – Switching positions, Pyan replaces the field effect of mist to heavy rain.
Domain Expansion (patched): Heavy Rain at Sword Grave.
Different from the first variant, this kind of patched domain only hides Pyan away, inside the raindrops.
*Tach… tach* – "Oh, it seems like Lady Luck just smiled on me."
Following his smile, a rain slowly drops down from the sky. It slowly, slowly and then heavily dyes the entire forest of darkness inside the torrential downpour.
*Clash* – A tentacle instantly swings toward Har, parrying for him a slash from nowhere.
Did it…? The question is left right there, without a trace Pyan has already approached him.
*Splash* – It cuts, that blade cuts down that head. And the even more impressive thing is Orighith doesn't react to that action.
Consequently, the same speculation instantly runs inside their minds:
It reacts to the murderous will.
Perhaps even Hex. Pyan swings that sword again and he cuts down the same head.
*Smash* – Shifting away from that place, Pyan was just about to dodge the slam strike of that monster.
*Bang* – Distracting it aside, Paragon threw two dragons into it, yet got absorbed into that bottomless mouth.
"That's disgusting." – Accumulating two hundred unusual points, Paragon powerfully tears down the space structure.
*Bang* – Yet, Plaz is straight blocked by that enormous wing of feather. No matter how hard he tried, the impact created by Chrono Rift just couldn't break that shield.
Is it even strong enough to ignore my bypassing impact as nothing? Opening his eyes wide, Paragon is currently caught by two tentacles.
*Clack - Vsh* – Two objects are moving
*Clash!* – Transferring the flames into the blade, Alan instantly saved his partner from being one tapped by that third tentacle.
*Splash* – Cutting down the previous ones, they burst the Aura mid air dodging two more shots.
*Whoosh* – The clear sounds made by the winds being cut, Paragon swiftly moves around as a hunter. With the eyes of an experienced fighter, he dodges all the tentacle attacks easily as pie.
*Smash* – Two of them smashed the ground into dust. As usual, Paragon came straight up with a leap upward to dodge the damage. Yet, the bestial arm isn't there just for fun.
*Bang* – So is Leo. After a massive shot, his ice spikes instantly bloom straight inside out at that arm. Even though it doesn't do much, the delay is still obvious to observe by eyes.
*Bang* – It's still a shockwave made by striking, but it's from the second wing of that beast. Yes, it's insidious enough to hide one wing, just to assault one of them at the moment no one could know.
Unfortunately, with the movement without a trace, Pyan can be anywhere inside this zone of raindrops. And he played the hero role this time.
But if the second has been revealed just to miss a strike like that, why wouldn't it use the first one?
*Vrmm* – Charged by the shadow essence, the enormous wing of feathers spread out as a blade full of power.
When did it…?
Dragging Alan to the left, Paragon instantly swings Plaz forward. Meanwhile, Leo builds up an ice wall just to block the light.
"Hey, don't look at that wing, it can hypnotize you." – Witnessing Alan giving him a head nod, Paragon starts moving around without looking at the purple light spreading away.
*Plop* – Old trick, Har hides into the darkness then grabs Paragon's legs as a trap.
*Smack* – That massive fist instantly launches a strike straight toward him, causing Paragon to break the entire right arm.
That's heavy! The alarm straight up warns him about death, he swiftly bursts the Aura just to reduce the impact damaging his body.
*Splash* – The first swing deflected the first tentacle strike, but the second attack was just thrown right after that. Paragon couldn't do much but sacrifice the right leg to escape from Har and dodge the tentacle.
Following that action, Har also makes a clone by shadow essence to throw a strike toward Paragon, who is now in the air. Meanwhile, his true self just dives straight at the veil of darkness, as a snake, he's waiting.
*Plop* – Ten ice stakes instantly shoot themselves planting right in front of Har, in order to block his way forth. It's Leo, he's finally stepped in this raid.
"Allow me to kick at your ass."
Smirking, Har laughs, "That's not a good way to ask for a favor."
*Plop* – "Then I'll start at breaking your neck first."
*Thud* – A heavy strike instantly draws a line between them. It's Leo again, he punches that fist toward the solar plexus of Har without getting a hit back.
"Hey, are you underestimating me just because of my support position?" – Rushing forward, Leo again aims for a strike.
*Thud* – Blocking the fist directly, Har has to reevaluate his opponent for one more time. Har heavily steps back twice, right at the center of the trap.
*Fsh* – Being frozen, Har slightly smirks, it's too easy to predict this kind of fighting style since Leo is an ice Aura user.
"Savan was overwhelming, but you aren't, right?" – Ten magic circles right immediately drawn in front of him.
*Splash* – A barrage of water bullets exploded right in front of him. It even took him not a glance, Har keeps rushing forward despite the water around him. For the same time, they both seal their hands together.
As so, Har instantly disappears into the darkness while the water around him turns to an ice prison. Dragging Leo from behind, Har applies a new trick by cloning himself twice to bait his opponent.
Falling into that trick, Leo wasted his time to one tap two clones while missing the track of the true one. Assaulting from behind, Har drags Leo down to the endless darkness, yet gets distracted by Pyan.
Tch, that guy's still here. Looking around, Har senses the movement of air to predict the position of Pyan each tick. To be honest, he hates that ability.
*Splash* – Yet, he didn't think that even the raindrops were his blades. Being cut by unlimited slashes, Har wasn't able to move off guard anymore. The only good thing is these cutting blades aren't a sure-hit strike in domain, but it doesn't change the fact that Har still needs Guard to protect himself.
Of course he can non-stop regenerate until that patched domain is broken. However, how can he do it while maintaining both Orighith and the field of darkness? It's such a nightmare, how terrible.
Should I–?
*Crack* – From behind, Paragon instantly approached with Plaz full of Aura just to land it straight on Har's back. The luck has chosen him, Chrono Rift has been activated.
Orighith? He wonders why it didn't land a hit on Paragon.
Then the answer was revealed, Har met those eyes. He looked straight at Paragon before he's sent flying away. And indeed, they carry no killing intent, but just a pure fighting spirit.
Great, how long has it been? A smirk, Har chooses to be serious.
"RampThica."
"Yes, dear." – Ascending from the abysmal darkness, the six arms monster has appeared.
Shadow Fusion–
He seals his hands.
–can also be used–
And they start merging.
–to fuse the beast with the user.
Twice longer than usual, Har is now a monster himself. With the grey skin of bio-steel flesh covered by the scales of snakes, he looks unable to fall down; with those two muscular arms which Paragon doesn't think he can win against in a direct clash; with the difference in physique, Har is now unstoppable.
Attached to his elbows, a sharp blade nicely grows for each arm. Rampthica's head now is a mask worn on his face as a signature for their fusion. He doesn't look too muscular, but Paragon didn't feel it was wrong, he felt the up-coming disaster with his own eyes.
Indeed, Har is currently three points eight meters. Besides the two powerful legs, he also has a massive force created by tearing the prey with his jaws and the long tail of a snake. Of course, there's a sharp blade at the end of the tail too, but to be honest, it should be called a glaive at this point.
*Whirr* – Overflowing through the grooves on his body, a dark essence slowly spreads out as another armor intertwined. Spinning behind his back, a perfect circle of dark essence forms itself as a connection between that monster and its four extra arms.
By examining RampThica, Har realized that she couldn't land a maximum strike naturally but coercively through bursting Aura because there were too many arms on her body. Indeed, with those six arms, RampThica could block and attack almost perfectly, yet, it's at the equilibrium among these two points. Which means it's still a failure on the way pursuing perfection.
That's why Har needs to reform himself and invent something more useful. With these four arms flying around him, he can do whatever RampThica could do but with the better swiftness and smoothness for each movement. Especially when Har prefers the martial arts in fighting rather than a brutal force as beasts.
To eliminate the weakness in the human body, the structure of the neck, spine and skull were also reworked. They are much denser, especially the connection between the neck and the head. With that density of essence and the massive muscle under the armor, no one at this battlefield can guarantee victory for themselves. The spines are also bigger and harder, as the unbreakable tank, Har has become the Kingdom Threat himself alone.
Starting the massacre by a greeting, how sweet, a voice of fragmentation speaks up, "You guys are indeed strong."
*Vsh* – Within a step, he's now right next to Paragon. When that guy isn't even able to catch up with the current moment, he again speaks up, clearly a threat.
"Hey, why don't you just move?"
*Thud* – Bypassing his arms, that strong fist carved straight at this solar plexus, leaving there a deep sunken spot right at his chests. It's powerful enough to send him flying away as a bullet. Despite the effort to reduce the impact of Paragon, he's still flying away for the entire five seconds until his feet land on the ground again.
Grabbing his leg from behind, Har again stays on top of the massacre. Catching the slash from Pyan at the same time, he throws that guy away just to stay with Paragon.
"Just the two of us."
*Crack* – If only the Chrono Rift didn't pop up, he would be already broken in half of the body beneath that punch.
Yet, his left leg is still held by those claws, he can't escape.
*Fsh* – It took Leo three seconds since Har started transforming just to create a bunch of ice traps around him. However, Paragon was sent flying away so far that he needed to make a clumsy one backing him up in two more seconds. And when the crack sound clangs up, he knows that it's at the limit already.
Yet, within that zero points seven second, Paragon was just able to cut down his leg and recover it nice and neat. Swinging the three-section staff around as a tornado, he has already accumulated around two hundred unusual points.
*Crack* – Both the space and ice trap got broken, the impact released itself powerfully clashing toward that unshakable tower.
Stepping back twice, Har feels quite itchy at the right wrist. It doesn't matter at all to just feel the pain, he got used to it for a long time already. But it still works as a useful scale for him to evaluate the prey.
"Great, but don't forget your back."
*Splash* – It's such an overwhelming situation that they both forgot there's another monster right here. Consequently, Alan was the only one fighting it for the entire ten seconds of his life. And it almost took away his head with those tentacles.
It was a stupid idea to say that Orighith only react to killing intent. Inside this darkness, it always selects a target to absorb. Until that goal is fulfilled, it will never stop.
And the only reason for it to change the target temporarily is the desire to destroy something. As an example, when Pyan tried to kill Har with his blade, he wanted to cut down that neck. Which means he wanted to destroy one's life, it's more intense than others' and it's the cause for the attack of Orighith.
Also, that sense of destruction can see through the invisibility of Pyan among the raindrops. This caused Alan to unleash his demand of killing Orighith – changing its target to him. At the start, he didn't think it's that dangerous. Yet, after getting hit once, he's now negated with a wound stretching from the left shoulder to the right hip.
"F*"
*Fsh* – Covering him with ice stakes, Leo saved Alan once.
"We need to split." – Calling from Alan.
"Let me do it." – Paragon switches the opponent, he leaves Har to the other partners.
It's a tactical strategy that maximizes each person's power in this team. Pyan can hide in the rain and the weather is also rainy, his advantages are obvious. And Leo, he can control the ground and stun Har with his own power. Also, ice and water is a matched combo to counter the high speed monster like Har.
Meanwhile, Orighith is much slower than Har, its hunting rules are also revealed. It's better for Alan and Paragon, those who have advantages to damage the monster on a large scale.
*Crack* – Yone immediately dodges the counter strike after landing his own. He also deflects the claws strike of Adevon at the same time, while driving a knee shot right at those lungs. Taking advantage of his own speed, Yone leaves no room for Adevon to breathe.
*Boom* – Doesn't stand still, Torun also jumps in with a sharp shot at the demon's head.
*Vsh* – Two guys instantly moved at that moment. The first one was Adevon, he's aiming for Torun's head and the second one was Yone, he's aiming for those claws.
*Smack* – Redirecting the strike by his left foot, Yone spreads and kicks right leg at that face. Non-stop, with the power of action cutting (Frame Skipping) he's just too fast for Adevo to keep an eye on.
*Smack - Thud* – A fast jab at the face and a strong elbow strike heavily slammed at the chest. Swiftly, Kura joins with his fused chain to prevent Adevon throwing a strike toward Yone. Right before he could do something, Torun jumped in again with a barrage of explosions, blowing him away from Yone for ten meters.
As I said, when those limits were canceled, Yone needs no more wasted actions to collect images inside this domain. It works on tick, instead of setting the images and confirming it each time his movement matches the set images, Yone can now do it at the same time. Yet, it also gains a lot of pressure on his brain, that's why the maximum images per tick is only around 500 at once. Just imagine doing two different works five hundred times in one tick before landing a strike. It's crazy, I swear.
Without the reduction of 10% speed each image spent, Yone's speed is actually increased fifty times counted on his base speed. Without the requirements during the process of accumulating images like before, Yone can now integrate using Ignite or Guard continuously until the next 50 seconds are gone.
"Let's go." – Dropping a line, Yone rushes forward with the continuously increasing speed as a bullet.
*Smack* – Instantly landing a strike, instead of reducing an image after using the Frame Skipping function, in this mode, Yone will pay another price. Losing ten percent of base speed is no longer the cost, but he must face the pressure of teleportation whenever it activates. But it's only for the forty nine seconds left, it doesn't matter.
*Smack* – A barrage of punches thrown straight on that demon with the cost isn't even a second. Stepping forth again, Yone drives a bunch of strikes intertwined with baits, causing Adevon the illusion of a bunch of Yone"s" moving.
*Thud* – An uppercut pierced that left lung a hole of blood.
*Smack* – A kick that sent him flying away.
*Boom* – The explosions that block his chance to land a counter attack.
Arcane Explosion!
*Crack* – With an open hand, the starlight beam straight up clashing with the bursting winds of Adevon. It's impressive that the demon couldn't stand a chance fighting back in this clash. As a blessing of the nebula Oromis, the Plain Ring on his thumb finger now has changed to the pattern of the three linked spirals.
This power… Dodging the wind slashes, Kura cancels the beam and covers himself with the chains.
Bypassing space? Kura opens his eyes wide. Those wind slashes bypassed the distance in space and cut through his neck a slight cut.
What is even that concept?
*Smack* – Yone drives a strike at Adevon's heart position, one of the main points of his own Aura cycle inside that body.
*Clash* – By skipping his actions, Yone instantly deflected and negated a lot of wind slashes.
*Clash* – At the same time, Kura also works on himself.
*Boom* – Oh yes, Torun again, as usual.
"What are you planning for?" – Adevon approaches with his claws again.
Aiming to eliminate Kura, he swings it as fast as possible. Yet, it seems like he just forgot that Kura can ignore the slashes by his crazy physique.
*Thud* – A strong strike drives straight toward his solar plexus. Following up with another attack, Kura drives one more strike toward that face after rotating his hips, putting more force into that strike.
As I said, with the total mass of a ton and Aura boosts by Ignite, Kura can clash directly to that demon. Holding the chain, he binds Adevon into it. With these fists, he will destroy everything.
*Thud* – Starting with an uppercut, Kura sent Adevon flying above. Holding that chain, he drags Adevon back to the ground.
*Thud* – With another uppercut, the old thing happens.
*Smack* – Yone drove his leg landing on that head.
*Smack* – Kura drove his left fist into that jaw.
*Crack* – It has been broken.
*Splash* – Watermelon juice, no more words, okay? Got me?
"I've been waiting." – Reforming his head, also locking those two fists within the cage, they are now limited in options.
*Vrmm* – Arcane Explosion has been used, and it sends one arm of Adevon flying away with no trace left. At the same time, Algamos has also stabbed through that demon.
Because of the target rules, Algamos only framed one individual that's Adevon, but not Yone and Kura. Even though they were linked together by Adevon's head, they were still three different targets and Algamos only targeted the selected one.
Yet, if somehow Adevon could melt those two fists and intertwine everything into an object, they would be counted as "an individual" indeed.
And still yet, it wasn't the thing that demon did.
*Crack* – Rushing through the frame, Yone broke it apart, also the demon locked inside. With the special effect of the frame, the entire force of three hundred thousand images has been launched.
Let's clarify something right here. Each image only boosts his pure strength output 10%, no matter if the contracts are canceled or not. And it's different from the maximum output of the Aura veins.
These boosts are a concept, it doesn't expand the blood veins enough to unleash 30000x power per punch. It works as a "tag" explaining to the world to "set" the "multiplier" on Yone. In a normal case, Aura helps humans unleash at least tenfold of their base power, variants can be calculated on the heartbeat, blood veins capacity, durability…
Yet, this multiplier is only set at 200 as a limit. Human blood veins can't be upgraded that much, that's why they have such a thing called Aura veins.
Aura veins are special veins, not a true blood vein, that contain more Aura, mobilize them faster and boost the damage by Aura better. This is the "talent" that they always mention to distinguish who should be trained or who should give up on this path of Aura.
To be honest, just in the case of a normal Aura user without training their bodies, Aura veins can help them upgrade their output up to a thousandfold, pure power based, after two years of hard training.
*Pure power: humans' normal force without special training.
Aura veins can be maximized by training without a specific limit, talent based. That's why almost all Aura users give up maximizing their body but Aura veins. And it's also the reason why a body training Aura user like Yone is really hard to see.
Based on his Ability, Yone can boost his physical output by accumulating images. Combined with Aura veins, his total output can reach 87000x with three hundred thousand images held. And it's counted on his maximum physical power.
Yone's tick is now set at 0.02 second and he has 500 images each tick. Through a simple calculation, we can find out that it saves him 22.8 seconds at the start to reach 57000x output.
After all, his ability can't help him cheat to reach the "output" of a god. Meanwhile, his Aura capacity must be valid to pay for the output he has unless he wants a self-frame treatment. Moreover, he still has the unfixable limits that are the brain capacity and tick-based system. If we set a dead match between Yone and Loye, it should be a one shot situation since Loye's brain works faster than Yone's.
Fun fact, when the Grand Sage overwhelmed the entire team of Har after his trip to 1000 years back, she didn't even use up to 10% her true power. As an experiment, all she did was testing Har and when those light spells were set, the experiment had ended with no impress.
Don't you think Aetheria, or Yozu, just got there in time because of the plot armor for Har? Don't be fooled, he was also testing Har too.
It may make him look powerful, but don't forget that Adevon was still alive beneath the two-million-image strike. The last hit only sent half of his body to the other side, he still had the right arm.
Dodging it as usual, Yone for one more time tears down a wing of Adevon. Hiding right behind him, Torun reveals himself with ten orbs of 300% output. They explode as what they were created to be, also releasing a veil of energy around Adevon, blocking his sense of Aura.
*Clack* – A fused chain again rushes forward as a snake, it binds the neck of Adevon like before. On the contrary, Adevon releases a thousand slashes just to buy him time escaping from the offense of Yone and Torun. Just to approach Kura again.
"You little brat." – That fist is swung again.
*Crack* – So was Kura's.
"And you, the cockroach, refuse to die." – Mocking, Kura throws another punch toward that face.
*Smack* – Two strikes one sound, they both received a punch at their face, fair enough. Approaching from behind, Algamos cuts twice on that back. Oh yes, they weren't taken down, so let alone for Adevon to kill Kura.
*Smack* – Shooting his left foot toward that face, Yone skips his action again until he's shifted right between them. Hooking the knife into that chest, he swiftly withdraws it and cuts another wound at that pharynx.
*Thud* – Bursting his Aura, Yone drives a kick of 350000 images into that torso. By the way, 57000x is the multiplier of base power by Yone's 100% maximum output. And through Ignite, his true multiplier is 102600x, which means 180% his maximum output. Which also means 137600x in total.
All of that was just about to clarify Yone's power is currently destructive. However, if only it's able to finish off Adevon, it'd be the worst overrated glaze for that demon I've ever made.
Ability: The Deadly Winds – allowing him to unleash the simplest wind slashes ever by consuming Black Aura.
If his wind slashes are just too slow to bypass Yone's speed.
Then make them faster.
If those slashes are just too weak to bypass Kura's defense.
Then make them stronger.
But the slashes are the only thing that ability can do, it's too simple and lame.
Shut up, just make them both stronger and faster. Sharpening those blades, then it'll be good.
*Swish* – As I said, Adevon has already strengthened his attacks with more and more Black Aura. Do you still remember the day I clarified the difference between Abilities?
I'm too lazy to find it and put it here, but it's about the advantages. With the more simple abilities at the start, they have a worse chance to win against the complicated ones. However, they require less things to master and keep growing the abilities.
On the contrary, the crazy ability like Gates of Shadow is such a complex thing requiring Har a craziest madness ever to fulfill its hunger. It gives him more things to work with to have more advantages, yet, Har must also have enough "desire" to satisfy that ability.
Based on that rule, Adevon's ability is really simple, granting him the power to sharpen the wind into slashes. So, can you imagine how big are the advantages granted back to him for the trade off?
Unlimited Growth are two words that fit this situation very well, but it's not like unlimited output like Torun's Ultimate Skill. In short, Adevon can sharpen winds into slashes and after a long time of practicing, he can sharpen it better. In a duel, the sharper sword is better. With those enhanced wind slashes, Adevon can cut through Kura easily, which he couldn't do twenty seconds ago.
Fifteen seconds have passed, Yone drives a strike of 140100x his base strength toward that solar plexus. Continuously, three more jabs have been launched forward. Switching the side, he skips the entire action until his left foot kicks straight at that face.
Frame Skipping, he locks Adevon's neck from behind, non-stop dragging him downward.
*Splash* – Despite the slashes cutting him apart, Yone bursts his Aura and stops accumulating images just to push all the power into his Guard. He's buying time.
But… for what? The question clangs inside his mind, Adevon can't understand.
Yone is fast, but he can't eliminate him with just the speed. Torun is annoying, but his explosions are also weak.
Kura? That brat can't even break my bones.
Wait! Realizing that movement, Adevon tries to release himself from that chain, but still in vain.
*Clack* – When the chain is dragged again, he has found it.
"The core…"
"Aetheria is our name." – In the field of memory, that silhouette is again painted inside his mind, something, something is leading…
That girl holds his hands tightly, "Time to wake up."
"You…?" – Squinting those eyes, Aetheria can't figure out who she is.
A smile with laughter, so sweet, "Are you still sleepy?"
Aetheria…
