"Let me tell you guys a fact."
"Uh huh?"
Yone explains, "The Holy Council is divided into two parts. The cathedral is led by nuns, pastors, bishops and the Pontiff. Except bishops and the Pontiff, the rest are useless in fighting. Their powers are all based on healing."
"The second part is The Knights Council, they rule their system differently."
"So that's why it's such easy work to defeat the majority of Cathedral forces?" – Luker claims rather than asks.
"Yes. Honestly, thanks to the disappearance of those nuns, we had less work to do."
"But where did they go?"
"I don't know." – Yone shakes his head.
"But." – That word is pressed strongly.
"Look at the formation at the bottom of that hole, I guess that all the souls of those who I kicked to dust just got consumed by that summoning spell." – Yone sighs, I have no solution for this problem.
"Umh… can't you just negate that formation?"
"I wish I could. I'm not Aetheria by the way."
"Oh…"
*Sigh* – What a suffocating sigh, "Fortunately, with only this soul power, the summoned evil spirit won't be too strong. The limit among two dimensions is still useful after all."
"Can you determine the enemy's level?"
"Below a million souls, none of them exceeds the quality of a high quality core. Let me check the EV."
By using Sight, Yone can evaluate the density of the energy. It's such a fact that every Aura user should know, isn't it? After all, the number is around 2 million and 7 hundred thousand units.
"Hmm, maybe a Sine Ordine one."
"Sine Ordine? Does it mean that it isn't ranked?" – Luker surprisingly understands what that word means.
"You… know its meaning?" – Yone is quite impressed. Without specific documents related to demons, he doesn't think it's possible to acknowledge this kind of language.
Luker points to his eyes, "Honestly, perhaps it's because of my eyes."
"I see, outsiders are always out of normal logic."
Yone continues, "It could be a Servitor Exaltus to a Baro Ordinis II Magnus, based on the quality of that core."
"Do you mean the point that all those souls are flowing into?" – Luker points at the center of the formation of twelve magic circles.
"Yes, but don't try to do anything." – Yone immediately stops Luker, who just grabs the spear and is 100% guaranteed that he's aiming to throw it.
"I know you mate, don't try to interrupt that process."
"It means that I shouldn't or I just can't?"
"Both."
"Uhm, let's start with the principle of this summoning formation a bit." – Kura finishes healing Yone, the rest will be left for himself to recover.
"What do you want to know?" – Freely, Yone asks.
"How does it work?"
Yone scratches his head, "It's quite long to explain thoroughly. Do you see those twelve magic circles? In short, each of them displays one gate connecting Middle Realm and Hell,"
"Why do we have twelve gates right there?"
"Because it's the rules. No one knows the reason, but without a single gate, the entire formation can't be activated." – Yone feels like he just got back to the old days, when he asked the same thing.
"Whatever, there are two requirements that must be met. First one is the EV, fulfilling by sacrificing flesh, blood or souls until it's enough to summon the target. The second one is the core, it can be made by nature or humans." – Yone makes a transparent, shining edge, orb for an example.
"It is an item created at the center of every summoning formation, especially which connects two dimensions together. It determines the quality of vessel for the summoned spirit to use until the formation is canceled."
Luker jumps in, "Can we break the formation after the summoning ritual is finished?"
"Nice try but it won't change anything."
"Don't tell me it's that kind of summoning."
Yone looks at Luker, "Yes it is."
Then he looks at everyone, "This summoning ritual is permanent, that demon won't be sent back to Hell. We only have one choice."
Torun: "To defeat it."
Yone: "Absolutely."
*Vroom* – After finishing the mission, the strongest freelancer of today has come back. He throws an item toward Yone, "Done."
He then goes to twelve zones prepared by the knights and places an item in order. This is a requirement to build up a formation. As I said, it's not a sentai movie so there's no reason for Yone to wait for the enemy. He can also prepare a trap to one tap that demon too.
Something just kicks in and Yone just be ready by himself, "Guys, he's come."
Yone takes out Algamos, the knife, "If the demon is a Servitor Exaltus, two of us can stay here and help people sealing the summoning gate."
"If…" – Yone stays silent, there's no longer a carefree manner on his face.
"If, just if, the enemy is at the level of Baro Ordinis. No matter which level it is, all of us must be prepared and sure to defeat it as fast as possible."
"Why don't we call for help?" – Hazen finally kicks in, he's so quiet that everyone almost forgot there's another guy.
"Nice try but tell me how to do it." – Yone cancels that idea immediately.
"The Three Great Forces made a contract of equilibrium that none of them can participate in the falling of one Force. The Knights Council is a part of The Holy Council, that's why that contract is invalid to prevent them." – Yone bursts the Aura around himself.
"Kura's team and I aren't in those Three Great Forces, so we can be here. Got me?"
"I see." – Not only Torun, but the rest just prepared themselves. Here is going to come a deadly fight.
*Blah~* – The roaring sound that gives no one the feeling of a peaceful time. Following the falling soul steams into the center of the formation, a dense and misty orb has been created. It just starts.
*Splash* – The cracking sound of fresh flesh slowly expands itself, leaving drops of black thick and viscous liquid falling down onto the ground. Among the cracking sounds of coercively reforming bone structure, a strange part grows on the torso of that demon.
A neck, nice and neat, forms itself under the cover of dragon-like scales.
Then two arms all of a sudden shoot themselves from both sides as two bullets, but being held by the joints as prisoners forced to stay in a cage especially prepared for them. Following that, two legs are also formed in order. They are thin, skinny but also longer than usual. Of course, to fit the image of a demon itself, there can't be the disappearance of the two black wings.
*Krrk!* – A weird shaped mouth has been painted on that egg shaped head. It stretches from left to right, at the very end of the face, even reaching the ears, despite the fact that there's no ear at all.
*Huh?* – As feeling it's such a shame to meet people without a formal suit, it slightly covers itself by the wings. After a finger flick, a standard outfit of a baron, European-style period costumes, magically coats itself over that demonic body. It's formal, it's good to accompany that demon.
Yet, at the point no one knows, the face of Yone Grantey is no longer good to look at. His Aura has already expanded beyond the range of five meters, all in his unconsciousness.
"Baro…"
"Ordinis IV…" – His voice, slowly, goes down, slowly, goes down…
Everyone holds the weapons tight, also transfers as much as Aura into them.
"Magnus." – That last word is as heavy as a thousand tons of stones crashing down everyone's surviving instinct.
"The worst case." – Luker has already revealed his evil eyes.
"Seems like we just got a secret gift." – Torun just covers his eyes with his right hand, he doesn't even want to look at reality.
"A gift that no one needs." – Hazen pulls out his sword, ready for a massacre.
"Follow me." – Yone activates his ability and immediately stands right in front of that demon.
With the item shining itself at his right hand, he breaks it apart to unleash the power carved inside itself.
Domain Expansion: The Kaleidoscope World of Mirrors.
Kaleidoscope is an item attached with three mirrors inside, 60 degrees between each, within an object. Based on the structure of the mirrors, when the light goes through the lens, it will reflect around until there're seemingly countless projections.
Contract of Equilibrium:
"While I'm still in this domain, my projections won't fade away."
"Also.."
[The user must reveal all the functions of this domain]
*Smack* – A punch throws straight toward that demon's face.
"Its function is setting the images all around me without the requirement of pure speed during the next 3 minutes."
[And when the requirement is met]
*Smack* – Thirtyfold strike, "The limit image capacity is one million."
[For exchange, the limit image capacity is removed.]
"Jump him!" – Thirtyfold, another strike has broken one horn of that demon.
*Smack - Splash* – Driving one elbow strike toward that face, it definitely balances the impact of the previous strike from Yone, flawlessly securing that head in place. At the same time, Hazen just stabs his straight sword at the position of the heart, letting the black blood overflow through the wound.
*Clank* – Shooting from his index finger, a chain is created through manifestation. With the fangs pattern ring on that finger, the chain also works as a snake indeed. Wrapping the demon inside and locking it with a bite.
*Vsh* – From both the baby and ring fingers, two more chains instantly hit the target. The Spiral Ring chain is the first one to come, it carries the bursting wind Aura as an bombastic bullet.
*Thud* – Intertwining the process, Torun immediately shoots an explosive shot toward the demon to negate both its sight and its chance to dodge Kura's strike.
After crashing that face, a huge amount of whirlwind unleashes itself and forms slashes, cutting through that demon.
*Smack* – Of course, Yone has the fastest speed here, so why not for as many free hits as possible?
The second one is from the baby finger, eye pattern ring, The Thief is activated. Its function isn't hard to understand, every creature has five senses: touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. Kura has his own authority to determine which one is selected and stolen until the chains are negated.
*Smack* – This time is a kick, Yone is non-stop attacking with the multiplier of thirty times, opening a chance for Hazen to perform two slashes.
*Splash - Clash* – The first one cuts down one wing, unfortunately, due to the fact that its neck is covered by dragon scales, the second slash can't do much.
However, it doesn't change anything at all. It's still beaten up and down, from left to right, or even from both sides. This is the ultimate jump showdown.
*Smack* – Yone contributes one kick to its left ribs.
*Thud* – Torun gives a knee strike to the lung, "Hazen!"
Instant Reflex! That demon swiftly rotates its head and tries to stop the blade with those sharp teeth.
*Smack* – "Ouch.*
What a surprise attack, even the devil may cry. For who just stood right behind it was Luker and he's the one giving it a heavy kick - forcefully snapping its neck back to the normal position.
*Splash* – This time is real Hazen, due to the limit of space, so he focuses on stabbing strikes instead of slashing. Well, actually a deep wound is better than just a slash.
One second... His eyes are so sharp, they shine up as a pair of hidden knives.
"You!" – *Smack* – Thirtyfold strike!
*Smack* – Thirtyfold strike!
*Thud* – Thirtyfold strike!
*Vsh* – Baiting one pace by rotating himself to accumulate more power.
"Gotchu bro." – Shooting a tiny but explosive force and placing it right at his right side. Don't underestimate it, that orb is 500% maximum output of Torun's power.
"Juggling Volley Shot!" – Torun yells with the raise of adrenaline.
*Bam!* – With the fixed position of the object, it's so easy for Yone to perform a shot.
*Boom!* – "Why are you so excited?" – Yone also drives a drop kick toward that head.
"Well, first time seeing a movement like in anime with full frames."
*Boom* – Three more shots at 150% maximum output explode that demon into a bunch of flesh.
Tch, it seems like I was right. Kura frowns his eyelids.
The story is too simple for a flashback, so let's jump into it fast. Back then, Kura developed his ability into five different chains for different functions. Yet, there's a problem that he had no one to test. The Fangs Ring allows him to bind one guy with the first 2 seconds being unable to escape. Nevertheless, Kura wasn't sure if it would work on the targets being able to transform to essence form or splitting their flesh apart to escape.
And now, the answer has been revealed.
"Hmm, I forgot that I could also do this trick." – Slightly fixing his suit, that demon also strikes his red hair, which was just created a second ago.
"Let's introduce ourselves."
*Clash* – Recovering and spreading the wings to block Hazen's slash, also the bursting wind chains of Kura.
"My name is Adevon Lucius…"
Descendent of Lucius, not a too high rank ancient demon. Still a hope to clutch. Yone's worriness just got half faded.
*Smack* – Parrying one strike from the left, "de Aurelin…"
Aurelin House, not the highest, still good. Yone leaps backward and touches the mirror behind.
*Clash* – Sharpening his wings, Adevon swings the right one as a big blade, clashing toward Hazen's blade.
"of Devorius."
Good, wind element. Yone just felt like he hit the 777 jackpot in the first row.
*The territory can determine which kind of power the lord of the land may use. Devorius is not too large a land west of the Adyl Empire under the reign of Pazuzu. Demon is a kind of creature that distinguishes absolutely their impact, authority and rank via their power. Basically, Yone can determine that Adevon isn't too strong in the rank of Baro Magnus among demons. And with the power of winds, Yone can make sure that his line up won't be wiped out as fast as facing a fire or lightning one.
*Crack* – Both Kura's right wrist and that demon's left wing bones crack a bit. Unfortunately, it's the maximized strike from Kura already, yet, not a chance to shake the protection an inch.
*Crack* – Same sound but it's Adevon's spine. A hundredfold kick, Yone Grantey has performed a 100x power strike toward that demon with a sacrifice of 1000 images. And it actually worked - sending that demon flying away as fast as a bullet.
"That's hurt." – Moaning, he touches his old back and stretches it to recover.
"I guess at least one of you just realized my power via my profile, don't you?" – He strokes his hair.
*Smack* – Stopping the fist right at mid-air, that tongue slightly but thoroughly licks through the bloody lips, "I'm I right, human?"
Incredible, it's still a hundredfold strike, how can he…
*Vsh* – His reflex just saved him from death. While his mind was still away, a fast strike from that tail had already shot toward his head. Back flipping, Yone sacrifices three more images to dodge the strikes and escape that insane attack range.
*Clash* – Hazen also steps forth and parries one strike to back up Yone. Yet, he soon regrets. It's too fast and sharp to parry as usual, consequently, the wrist of him just got crushed to pieces.
"Let me stay at the frontline." – Luker steps forth.
"Then I'll cover." – Hazen slowly heals.
'Hey Yone, can your mirror world reflect my explosive bombs?'
'... It would only make the reflected images, not the real objects.'
'Doesn't matter, we can trick him.'
'Hey, did you just forget that he can sense the energy?'
'Come on bro, we have Kura' – Pointing toward who is unleashing his power, Torun smiles confidently.
"Just leave it to me." – All of a sudden, his eyes turn black, then two nebulas spread out as a mist of cosmic light. His Cylian Eyes are quite special compared to others. There's not enough information for Kura to understand the problem thoroughly. Yet, via the Earl, he knew that his eyes are special, as what his grandfather had said.
By experimenting many times, Kura discovered that his two eyes can archive the image of some special things and gain the related power for the next time to activate. And his choice was the nebula, the clearliest nebula in the sky - Oromis.
Even though its silhouette is no longer shining over the sky, Kura is still able to sense its existence.
Everything is moving, even Aurorize among the universe. Perhaps it's also the different location of observation, that Oromis is now out of his vision. Yet, as I said, Kura still senses it.
"Alright." – Yone stands up, also transfers a lot of Aura into that crystal blade.
"Shall we begin?" – That demon offers.
"Of course." – Disappearing, Yone leaps back to the mirror and totally blends into the reflection of himself.
Surprisingly, without the object, the entire system built up by a ton of reflections doesn't collapse itself. The only change is some of them just evaporate inside the mirrors.
There's something moving. Adevon looks around with the incredibly fast frequency to collect as much information as possible into his two bloody eyes.
*Clash* – Hazen's slash is now parried.
*Clash - Clash* – Steadily stepping forth, that swordsman continued with two more slashes to force Adevon to step back twice.
*Clash* – Acknowledging the difference of speed between him and Adevon, Hazen didn't try to withdraw. He stood there and perfectly blocked a tail sweep of that demon.
Heavy as hell. Cursing in mind, he steps back once by the impact, yet also opens up a space for Torun to kick in.
*Bang* – On the opposite side, Adevon also splits his demonic Aura outside and concentrates them all into one orb - perfectly negating Torun's strike mid-air. Consequently, that impact gave both Hazen and Torun withdrawal soft and sound.
*Smack* – By observing the order of those images which disappeared inside the mirrors, Adevon has realized both the trajectory and the destination of that strike.
As predicted, have Grantey descendants become this weak? Countering Yone by a bait to the left, Adevon swiftly locks up him with the right wing. Meanwhile, the left one is coming as a blade and Adevon's also trying to stab his left claws to that pharynx.
*Vsh* – Frame Skipping as usual, Yone swiftly jumps out of the mirror right behind that demon. Transferring the Aura into his right foot, Yone rotates himself mid-air for a strong kick.
Bait. Matching Yone's intention, Adevon parries both Kura and Hazen from both sides while keeping his eyes focused on the images of Yone disappearing around himself.
Rotating once, Adevon has deflected a slash of Hazen and a punch of Kura. Now the gap between him and them is too ideal for two strikes.
*Smack* – The first punch delivered straight toward that face of the swordsman.
*Splash* – Meanwhile, those two wings just left two deep cuts on Kura's left arm.
"Hey, are all the demons that strong at Baro Magnus?" – Kura grabs that vest and applies a mark of two fangs floating over that head.
"Not really, Baro Ordinis III Magnus can be ennobled to a Vicarius Ordinis I Ordinarius without being an Ordinis IV Magnus like me." – Also grabbing his neck, Adevon gives Kura one heavy strike toward that face.
"Which also can be explained by an extra level for the stronger than usual demons in their ranks?" – Kura hasn't done yet, he's still able to wrap a chain around that demon.
"It'll be a way to explain."
*Smack* – Adevon lifts his leg and Kura also performs a kick. Their legs collide and stop right at mid-air.
*Smack* – Yone swiftly gives him a kick in his spine, how sweet.
"Gotcha~"
*Smack* – Rotating mid-air, despite the grab from the opponent, Yone was still able to throw a kick toward that head.
*Boom* – An assault strike, Torun delivers two bombs toward that demon - sending it flying away.
*Crack* – Hitting the mirror, Adevon slightly gets back his stability. Yet, "standing" right behind him is Yone.
*Crack* – Another kick in the spine, Yone sends that demon flying away for one more time. Waiting at the destination, Kura shoots a knuckle chain towar–
*Clash* – Never mind, it just got deflected.
*Smack* – Whatever, Kura just gave Adevon a punch himself.
*Clank* – Dragging the chain of The Fangs Ring, Kura drags Adevon even closer to him.
*Smack* – Then a heavy blow, Kura also gives Adevon a strong punch at his face. It's strong enough to break the second horn indeed. At the same time, Yone delivers another kick to that head.
"Tch, annoying." – Flicking his fingers, Adevon calls out a storm and madly knocks everyone away.
"Starting with you first." – Controlling the winds, Adevon has already grabbed the neck of Torun.
*Bleh~* – Sticking a tongue out, another hidden bomb has been revealed.
*Boom* – At the same time, Kura also rushes forward and shoots the chain of his baby finger toward that demon.
The Eye Ring: The Thief (enhanced) – allowing Kura to seal all the senses of one target.
Stepping forth, he launches a strike toward that face, yet, redirecting it after performing one rotation while moving to Adevon's rear side. And this time, that fist is aiming to land itself into the spine of the demon, sharp and clear.
*Whirr* – Adevon also unleashes the winds, they cut around - breaking the mirrors, also knock Kura away - negating his movement.
*Smack* – One hundredfold strike, Yone lands a strike and keeps distracting Adevon by his own advantage of speed. One, two, three steps, Yone again gets back enough power for another 100x strike. Yet, he stops right at the last moment and switches position with the image in the mirror of the other side.
Consequently, Adevon missed his wing attack. Following up, three bombastic shots exploded right at his face.
Even Zone is negated. Adevon is having a hard time without any sense to stay up to date on the battlefield. If this situation keeps going, he might lose to these humans.
So annoying, the only thing I can sense is my Aura.
Cursing in mind, he again got a knuckle chain hit his face.
Oh, I get it now. Adevon just realizes something.
By binding his Aura into the chains, Adevon can "load" the chains data into his mind, in order to determine where Kura is, currently.
Right here!
*Smack* – Combat trade, both Kura and Adevon received a punch to their faces. Nevertheless, Adevon is better in both physique and fighting experience. That's why he can launch the second hit at Kura before his opponent could do anything, sending the chains user flying away.
*Clank* – Oh, of course, because of the chains. Adevon instantly rushes forward and grabs Kura's neck.
The strategy is really easy to understand. If Adevon can't take down all at once, then he'll take down one by one. Not a single movement is cumbrous, he pins Kura straight to the mirror wall and crushes it into pieces.
*Thud* – One, two, three, four, five, six,... a lot of strikes are continuously thrown toward that fighter. Yet, suddenly, Kura grabs that neck.
*Splash* – From behind, Hazen stabs his sword through Adevon's chest. He also buys enough time for Kura to escape from those claws. Meanwhile, Yone backs up with a knee strike - sending Adevon away.
*Crack* – He clings to the mirrors as if holding an anchor. Obviously, they are mirrors, not a wall. Beneath the pressure of those five claws of the left, that field entirely collapsed into pieces.
*Vsh - Vsh* – Kaleidoscope reflects the images of one object set at the center among the mirrors. But obviously this domain isn't a normal kaleidoscope. Even the function of abilities can be reversed, why can't this kaleidoscope of Yone be?
All those fragments, instantly all of them point at one spot in the space. Right at that moment, all the images immediately disappear inside those fragments - concentrating at the center.
And here comes a silhouette of who we've just seen a lot. That deep blue hair slightly sways in the air and he instantly performs a kick with the acceleration of 1132 images, which means he's attacking 113.2 times stronger than his pure physical strike. He calls it Images Converging Technique.
*Bang* – Different from the previous times, Yone chose to not maximize the damage but release the energy at shockwaves. Indeed, advanced Aura users can control their flows of Aura to unleash as much damage as possible with the same amount of energy. It causes the stronger attacks, but also the less "wasted" impact to send the targets flying away.
But, why did he do that?
The Ultimate Moves are the state when the Aura users raise their maximum outputs, up to twice. Whenever this capacity is reached, the entire structure of their Aura will collapse itself, until the new one is formed naturally. The evolution in both density and quality held by Abilities, this is one of the strongest techniques in Aura users' life.
"Hey Torun." – A familiar voice called him in the past.
"Hmm?" – As a wonder, he dropped a sound.
"I feel like, your power, I mean ability. It isn't just an explosion, right?"
"Yes, you are right. But I'll only focus on the techniques making my orbs explode as powerful as possible." – Torun cleaned himself with a spell.
"I wonder why."
Within a smile, "Then I'll keep it a secret. Just between the two of us, I'll hide this trump card until the day I may have a rematch with Kura for one more time."
Jezz, I've been hiding this one that long. Can't believe that I need to reveal it this soon. Torun grumbles.
Ultimate Move: Unlimited Capacity
The requirements for this move to work are the Aura must be valid to transfer and the output is set as his two hands. Beside those limits, it doesn't take from Torun a second to raise his attack to 200% output. To break that ceiling, Torun can raise the total output to whatever he wants, yet, the price is doubled.
It's not a wise choice to sacrifice all his Aura into only one orb, despite his rich amount of Aura, it's still not infinite. Then a barrage of 600% maximum output has been launched toward that demon.
*Clank* – Don't forget that the chains are still ready to shoot themselves. Different from other times, Kura combines both Spiral and Spear Rings at once. It's still heavy, but this time, it's also piercing.
Among the explosions, that enhanced chain stabbed through Adevon's heart as a pile. Stretching that chain, Kura transfers as much Aura as possible to it. This movement makes an incredible cyclone, directly twisting flesh and blood of that demon. Nonetheless, Demon's Aura Cycle is quite similar to human's. Beside the difference in veins structure, position and amount, the core mechanism is still starting from the heart, core for demons, and moving all around the body clockwise. So then! Kura just activated his cyclone rotating in the counter-clockwise direction - standing as the opposite of Adevon's Aura Cycle.
No more words to understand, don't you think?
F* it, wait, my zone? Adevon instantly realizes that he just gets back his zone, he can now reach all the movement around him.
However, it doesn't matter anymore. Since that guy has just moved.
The reason that Adevon couldn't sense anything via his zone was all on Luker. Those two devil eyes don't only negate Abilities, but also the more complicated concept related to Aura. In short, Luker can negate as many Aura techniques as he pleases. Yet, the cost and requirements are also equal for that power.
And "not moving" was the condition for him to lock Adevon's Zone and Guard techniques.
Right now! Yone instantly appears right above that demon with a knife set right in mid-air, under his heel.
*Vsh* – One step and Luker has already called out his bloody spear, also standing right next to Adevon. He stabs that spear to the demon, as usual, The Gaze of Blood has been activated.
"You wretch!!!"
*Vroom* – Huh? Where am I? Adevon suddenly gets back his consciousness among the ocean of blood.
Domain? No, it's not like a domain.
*Slosh* – Something is approaching.
*Clash* – A swift slash cuts through his claws, leaving a deep scratch upon those things. Non-stop, it keeps moving and pressing Adevon until they've moved ten steps from the starting point.
*Crack* – Immediately, a wound tears his chest deeply. But it's not the normal wound, the evidence is that the cut left no blood, but a crack.
Soul, this is the soul field of that brat. Adevon finally realizes what's going on. He remembers the moment his body was stabbed by that bloody spear, perhaps it's when his soul was taken into this field.
"You are that brat!"
*Clash* – Instant Parry! Adevon steps back twice and releases a lot of Aura until the entire sphere of five meters around him is filled by his own power.
Yet, in the other world, his body is fed by a lot of bombs, punches and slashes in spite of its defense.
Acknowledging the problem, Adevon is really in a hurry to get back his vessel. However, Luker gives him no choice but parry the strikes. Luker is really annoying, hiding under the veil of space, he can assault Adevon whenever he wants.
*Clash* – Thankfully, the sphere of Aura around that demon just carries it through the waves of offense.
"Don't think I see you not!" – Swinging the claws which are just enhanced twice around, parrying all the movements of Luker.
"I told yo–"
Eh?
Wobbling around, Adevon can't stand steady beneath that impact. There's something, something is damaging the connection between the vessel and his soul.
"I can't believe that you can do that much, Kura." – Yone speaks up, yet, still accumulates the images non-stop.
"I'm a kind of specialist when these eyes are on. After this event, I'll learn how to exorcise demons. At least enough to banish a Baro Magnus." – Closing his left fist, Kura fuses all the chains into one and attaches it to that demon's body.
Soul, body and mind are three ways for a creature to exist in this world. In the physical world, bodies appear as the containers for souls. To be a "true living" creature, there must be a connection between a soul and its own vessel. This connection is also based on causality, if everything's natural, A's soul will have A's vessel as a perfect match. This connection is harder to break while compared to A's vessel and a strange soul reigning it.
This is the reason for merged zombies, merged undeads or whatever like them are weak beneath spiritual attacks. And Adevon's case is exactly like the unnatural existence, in which a vessel and a soul aren't born to match each other.
To break this link, there are around two requirements to be met. First, the soul must not be on the same side of the vessel - which is already solved by Luker after he dragged Adevon's spiritual existence to this soul field. The second one is eliminating the "anchor" attached to that soul.
The "anchor" can be anything, in Adevon's case, it's the medium quality core made by over a million souls. Yone mentioned that Luker wouldn't break the core because the formation was working, if anyone interrupted, they would be also consumed as the sacrifice for the summoning ritual. But for now, without the guarantee of the formation, Adevon is no longer protected.
Yet, it doesn't mean Kura can do it easily. To damage, break or erase one existence in spiritual form, the attacks must be at the same level, to reach the field of spiritual existence.
"So can you do that, Kura?" – Yone is still running.
"I can't, but I can use my Fused Ring chain to target that core. Whenever it's bound to my chain, it'll be revealed in the physical world."
This is the reason why Kura fused his chains into the only one. Its function after being fused is simple. This chain allows him to work as a snake. With the eyes of a predator, it can search for anything, with only a sole requirement - Kura must acknowledge the things he wants to search for.
"Can you describe it?" – Transferring a lot of Aura into his left fist and five rings, Kura is now on the hunt.
"Transparent, five centimeters for the diameter, a shiny orb among darkness." – Yone is still running.
"Let's see."
Hey, don't you think, it's that easy? A voice clangs up in the madness, the Aura is synchronized with the darkness. Here it comes:
My winds of mercilessness. Following that call, the air is bent and distorted as a wrath of nature.
Middle Realm, where the Aura and mana are two kinds of main energy in the world. Such a story that we used to hear a lot. Parallel to that dimension is Hellheilm, Hell Realm, where Black Aura and Black Mana are the main power, the standard and the basis for the rank system among demons.
What a cruel fact. It just reveals one truth, that Adevon hasn't been using his own power from Hell. All he did, all the attacks he performed were such a basic thing with Aura among this realm. Under heaven, above the earth, but not that blazing hell, where he's truly himself, where Adevon is truly the demon at the rank of Baro Ordinis IV Magnus, where the blessing of Lucius is activated.
You the low-born wretches of [Error]-human vestige. You the brats captured inside this enclosure. You, the disgusting failure of creation. Spreading the wings of doom, Adevon has already locked in.
Who dared give you that delusion to commit disrespect to me, a Baron of a land under Lord Paizuzu, the unique Baro Ordinis IV Magnus from the West?
Those eyes are no longer able to describe. They are painted the crimson of blood, but also the refinement of rubies. Those pupils are truly evil, even the king might bow down his head beneath that gaze without a word. This is truly a disaster, the nightmare of mankind - a Demon.
"Is that the Black Aura?" – Recalling the fused chain, Kura swiftly withdrawals and blocks all the wind cuts.
"Yes it is!" – Shouting from the left, Yone swiftly assaults with a heavy kick of five thousand images. However, it seems like that kick didn't do much.
Tch, this isn't even Hell, it's even without the enhancement of territory and the oppression of Paizuzu's Gaze! Yone rotates mid-air, launching another kick to that head.
Yet, he's this strong already.
*Crack* – Something got cracked, oh yes, his own leg, "F*"
"You!" – Grabbing that leg, Adevon keeps his gaze straight on that speedster.
"The brat of Grantey Clan."
*Swish* – Throwing him as a baseball, Adevon bursts the Aura of dark color all around himself. Is it Ignite? Somewhat alike, yet might not be the same.
As I said, even though the demons also mobilize their Black Aura inside the veins clockwise like humans, their body structure is different. Ignite burns the Aura inside the veins, expanding them to raise the consumption amount of the body.
On the opposite side, demons' veins can't be expanded in the same way with Black Aura. This difference is caused by the density of demons' cells, body structure and inner pressure. It doesn't matter that we call it "cell," those things can't be old like humans' cells. To compare, humans use Ignite to expand the veins for larger capacity for output, but demons have already got that feature themselves already?
What should I say for this?
Just imagine it's like a multi-layered structure. In normal cases, demons only use one of those layers to flow the Black Aura inside. And when they need more power, they just need to release all the layers to flow more and more Black Aura.
In short, humans need to expand to reach their theoretical limit of the output and demons are those who set the limits already, they just need to unleash their potential.
And for this moment, Adevon has already unleashed all of his power, "I wonder how long it took you to make this plan? I'm sure that it's only been five minutes since the gates were activated."
A smirk, "You just got the answer yourself."
*Crack* – Now, the other leg is also broken. Yone knows what he should do at this moment. Holding those broken horns, he drives a smash with two knees straight at that face.
*Crack* – That sound is just enough to describe the thing.
*Vrm* – While those wings cut up as two hooks toward Yone, a sword at the point of no one knows has deflected them away in a flash. It's Hazen, who just used his Larizupi Sword Style for a parry.
"Stay back, we can't directly clash with his strength." – Another parry, Hazen withdrawals while bringing Yone.
This is the absolute difference between them. At this point, Adevon has been unrivaled inside this domain.
*Clash* – An assault strike from Kura, yet got blocked easily as pie.
"Hey Yone, can you explain that power? It's too unfair."
"Not actually, if we somehow can use the Holy power, we can eliminate him easily." – Yone
*Clash* – Swinging his fused chain again, Kura still can't do any damage on that demon, "Dude, are we serious? Is there any way else?"
"Well, technically yes, but we just can't do it."
*Vrm* – The third time of parrying, Hazen also gets back a deep cut on his left shoulder.
"He's adapting to my parry pace." – Hazen speaks up.
"I know dude, but except for Holy power, we need the Pure element."
"Pure?"
"Yes, the pure essence of energy extracted via alchemy formation. This–"
*Clash* – His entire arms are shaking by the impact, "–technique has special requirements. Which I–"
*Vrm - Splash* – For this time, that arm is entirely cut down, "–can't meet!"
*Clash* – Fangs Ring chain! It's deflected mid-air. Meanwhile, the chains of the Spear and Spiral Rings are caught by his left hand.
"Cancel the chains!" – Yone throws Algamos toward Adevon while stepping forth to drive a strike forward.
As reflex, Kura had even done it before Yone said the line, yet, that tornado bound into the chains were still able to twist his left arm into a mess of blood and meat.
"Your winds are nothing but a disrespect to me." – Adevon skips through Yone and drives a claws strike toward Kura's heart.
Yet, it's the worst thing he could do. By dragging Adevon from behind, while Hazen just deflected the strike, Yone took back his dagger and stabbed it into that demon's back. Adevon wasn't slow in defending, he also spread his wings fast enough to exceed the sonic speed hundred times. And that's how he fell into the trap.
Don't you forget Algamos' power?
Yes, it coercively frames one individual for three seconds maximum with the reset of five minutes, starting to count after the frame is canceled or broken.
Do you still remember Yone's movements while Adevon's being sealed in the soul field?
He was moving.
In this domain, Yone can't accumulate his images as usual. He can skip the images no matter the order. Yet, he's only able to do it via a direct touch to the mirrors or overwriting himself on the images which are in his sight. Don't forget that the image in the mirror is only a frame, it can't rotate the eyes to change the point of view.
Kaleidoscope only reflects the images of the object whenever the object is still placed at the suitable spot. It means that whenever Yone jumps into the mirrors, the images are no longer reflected into the other mirrors. And it's the deadly limit for him while combined with the previous one.
What if he chooses the wrong image to set on while no new image is generated? Basically, he needs to jump out of that mirror. Adevon can also keep track of Yone's movement in the mirrors, it's just a dead end for him to make that kind of mistake.
Also, whenever he jumps into the mirrors, his accumulated images are all wiped, reset back to none.
Well, fortunately, accumulating images in the second also gives him an advantage. His speed is bound to the limit of light speed in an air environment.
But don't worry, it's just 90km/second less fast than light speed in a vacuum environment.
And for those ten seconds of life, the total accumulated images held by him was raised up to half a million. Which means a five hundred thousand times his full pure strength strike can be unleashed at will. By stepping forth to bait, Yone shifts himself backward by a set image perfectly as planned. Within that moment, Adevon has experienced despair.
Yes, he was threatened by that sole fist of Yone, which is tightly closed.
Move! Move! Despite the alarm warning of his surviving instinct, Adevon can't move a single millimeter from now on.
Three seconds are the maximum, also the standard time for a frame to resist collapse. It works as a zone of space packed into a thin glass - sealing the target inside. With the exceptions of space manipulation in high level as a capacity to do a domain expansion or space-intertwined Aura spreading, nothing can oppose that lock. Yet, with this power, the limit is now up to five seconds at will.
Right at the first movement he didn't use the image to move back as Adevon thought. Indeed, the first image was used to skip the entire required movement to set his right fist touching that chest of the demon. Frame Counter was used by him to send the offender five meters backward in a certain amount of time with one stack applied on them. After three times, those stacks will capture the target inside a frame.
Yet, it's only a side of this power, it's only a defensive form. Of course, the offensive is real actually, since he used it to coercively seal the demonic Baron of Devorius into a frame cage.
He calls it Forced Frame, the proactive hit guaranteed to frame a single target with an optional cooldown period counted in minutes corresponding to the sealing time. Also, this frame allows the users to launch the damage twice compared to the input images they put in, Aura cost is also doubled as a fact.
Enough! Enough! Just move! Struggling inside the frame, Adevon has reached the bottom of despair, where he found nothing but the up-coming death.
Again to step forth, Yone has already finished the process of setting those five hundred thousand images into one specific spot. As I said, the more images to control, the more pressure he gains upon his own sanity.
Different from the previous time that he accumulated the speed via completing the set actions in a perfect condition of time and space. This isn't alike after all, to be specific, he is currently activating Frame Stacking a hundred thousand times with five images for each tick of his mind.
And to solve the problem of the scarce amount of time, Yone needed to divide his tick with the very large number as denominator.
Four seconds, four seconds are the total time to set everything up nice and neat. Those images are put all in one spot already. Consequently, the only thing left to do is jumping into that spot with the same action as the set images - meeting the requirements and the entire power will trigger.
"Let's end this."
*Vsh* – And at the end of the scene, that fist has already swung toward the demon. With the fast speed it could be, even the winds were bursted away beneath that pressure. This might be the end, for one side of them will fall down soon.
Also, before being forcibly framed again, Adevon had already been framed inside one already. So the final output will be doubled twice, which means the strike with four times of five hundred thousand images will be launched immediately.
*Crack* – Beneath that twentyfold strike, the Pontiff couldn't stand against it. Not only Arcane Force, but also his Aura is non-stop devoured by the runic fabric bound to the right hand. It's really annoying since he can't even release over 30% of his output.
It's like its core function just to limit me enough to lose to that brat, but also meet some requirements for long term effect. The Pontiff instantly realizes that it's an intentional trap made for him.
And yes, as he said, Azaystral knows him best, so it's not that surprising.
*Bang* – That sound was too great. A giant hammer swiftly swept around just to crash at that head. Aetheria even grabs that hammer even tighter after a swing, after two more steps, that hammer again is set right next to that head again.
*Crack* - It doesn't matter that the Pontiff just leapt to the right to reduce the impact, the entire explosive shockwave was still able to crack that arm to six pieces.
*Whirr* – Replacing his entire inner Aura system by the flame of hell, the Pontiff has bet his life on this. Flames have many ranks to distinguish among, so is this hellish flame. It's one of the Origin Flames, yet, still a branch like Alan's. Coating over the core a color of blue, but stained with the disgusting sins of souls.
Sh*t, that flame isn't the normal hellish one. It might be the first generation of Other Flames. Aetheria takes out the scythe and puts it on his left hand, accompanying the hammer from the right.
*Other Flames: Somewhat look like flames yet with special functions.
"Don't look at me like that." – Smirking, he rushes toward Aeth with the blazing left fist.
After clashing, the two hands of Aeth just tremble madly just by a strike. And that was the best scenario for him by almost sacrificing the hammer.
It might be the cost of using the Jack of All Trades on it, or might also be because of getting hit.
*Vsh* – For one more time that Pontiff rushes forward, Aetheria immediately blocks the punch mid-air with the hammer. Before letting it crack, the curved sharp blade of that scythe has already stayed behind that nape.
*Whirr* – Yet, after a touch of that Pontiff to the scythe, Aeth's instinct forced himself to leap backward as fast as possible, just to escape those claws.
*Vsh* – Such a miracle, because if there's a mistake, his entire body would be crushed beneath that pressure already.
It! That karma bonds are so evil! Opening his eyes wide, Aeth witnessed such a diabolical thing in the world.
To explain, Karma is the intermediary to determine the purity of souls. Do you still remember the day I explained about merged creatures and chimeras? For those who dare to lay their hands into the forbidden field of magic, spells and formations, they will have to face the backlashes.
And one of the backlashes is Karma, it stains the soul of the targets - rejecting them from The Heaven Realm.
Besides that problem, whoever carries too much Karma on himself will face the unfortunate until the "ashes of sins" fade away. Well, for example, if you are going to do a ritual to summon a spirit. If the requirements are met, a good person can summon a high-ranking one but the terrible guy might be given a bad quality spirit.
You can imagine it as a luck debuff in gacha games.
To see Karma without special abilities, Aura and mana users must be able to observe the karmic bonds at least in the first layer. Yet, there are some special species that can do the same thing fluently as an instinct themselves, such as spirits who reject evil beings summoning them, or demons who sense karma daily or even holy spirits who hate karma the most.
And flying around that Pontiff is the special flame in the list of Origin Flames. Even though it's a flame split from the true one, it's still overpowered enough to kill Aetheria right here. Burning the karmic bonds to zero, the more karma curses you, the stronger you are. However, it doesn't stop at that point, even life force can be burnt to sacrifice for power, flesh and blood, not only the user's but also others'.
Aphenim is trembling. Don't forget that it's made by three pairs of Arol's wings, the messengers of Heavenly Land on Earth. It can sense the karmic bonds as instinct, so it's normal to act as hater toward the Pontiff. Nevertheless, it isn't shaking because of hatred, it's scared. Yes, it's scared of that existence, the "devil" under human skin, the "demon" not by race but by the distortion of nature.
Heavenly Song! The ultimate strike of Aphenim has been released toward that Pontiff. Straight toward the function, it delays all the information around the targets - preventing them catching up with the certain situation for two seconds.
*Clash* – Yet, it only works with normal guys. Standing right in front of Aetheria is the Pontiff, who ruled one of the Three Great Forces over a century. The amount of demons he exorcised is even more than the amount of days Aeth's been living.
His reflex is insane indeed. Zone advantages can be blocked by delaying the feedback of everything around the Pontiff, but Aphenim just can't delay that brain out of working. Have you ever heard of the fact that we always live in the past?
Brains take time to send the information and receive information, so they always draw simulations or predictions to be able to react toward the possibilities based on the received information.
And via that feature of his brain, who survived long enough to train and enhance his instinct up to the peak, Raigan just performed a delicate movement - perfectly parrying the scythe strike nice and neat.
*Splash* – How unfortunate it is, at the moment Heavenly Song was activated, Aeth has already predicted this possibility. He hasn't underestimated this opponent for a single moment in his life. So it isn't a bad choice to hide the true attack until the very end. A blade was drawn at that moment all Raigan's senses were negated, which cut a sharp wound at his left shoulder.
If the received information is the basis for the simulation inside that brain of the Pontiff, Aetheria only needs to add at least one more variable into the whole process - driving everything to the result he wants the most.
*Crack* – Also, if the given time for the Pontiff isn't that much, he of course can't react in time to the up-coming strike. And that sound was made as an extra attack since two seconds of delay was still available.
This brat, he's seriously dangerous. Raigan curses all the world with all the words he's learnt since his birth.
Are all Azaystral's students this annoying?
*Crack* – Twentyfold strike clashes straight toward a blazing fist, they both step back thrice a beat. At the same time, that hand of Aeth just broke itself terribly.
This Pontiff, he's still hiding the trump card. Should I reveal mine first? The clock is going to be canceled soon. No wonder, Aeth isn't better than Raigan, the pressure on his entire body is going to exceed his own limit very soon.
"Are you saving your final trump card?" – Mocking, he said.
"We are the same, aren't we?" – Aeth approaches with a cutlass on his hands.
Among the metal clashing barrage of sounds, that blade is swung non-stop in the air perfectly fitting the strikes of Raigan. Each time that blade cut through the air, each time it blocked those blazing fists.
But it isn't the long-term plan that will work well. Since the moment that blade got cracked just by three strikes, Aeth knew that it wouldn't last for too long.
*Crack* – Replacing it with the old scythe, he has successfully survived through the first wave of devastation.
*Crack* – And that was unfortunate, the scythe, it's also broken beneath those claws.
Aren't you curious about the first touch of Raigan to that scythe? Do you want to know what happened that even Aeth leapt back as escaping death?
Vibration is the key.
Vibration is the special Ability of Raigan allowing him to shake the target, via a close touch, forth and back with the frequency up to ten terahertz. Yet, with the instability of energy control until the runic fabric breaks and other negative debuffs, Raigan can't even mobilize a hundred gigahertz.
In short, within 1.2 second to 1.5 second, Kura can be evaporated, within the Cylian Eyes enhancement, it'd only be 7 seconds in total. Let's scale something right here. Golden Hunter is around threat A+ to S+, which are equal to sub-country and multi-country level.
*Threat Scales are only used to evaluate monsters, dungeons, rifts or disasters. Outsiders aren't counted as humans of this world, that's why they're also evaluated by Threat Scales.
Also, the example of vibration and Kura is set as the perfect condition of maximum Guard protecting him. That's why it's just a short period of time like 0.05 second, Aeth still needed to react that seriously.
Why? - you may ask.
In short, Aetheria didn't spend all his output on defending.
Wait, did I say that people can't maximize both Guard and Ignite at once?
Aura users can pull out a half exceed the maximum output (150%) to defend, also, they can raise the density of the shield to accumulate it. The output is still 150%, but through accumulation, the total protection can be up to twice effective. It's like Ignite, but not Ignite indeed.
Ignite is expanding the veins, boosting the speed of Aura flows,... to maximize offending, usually stop at 200% capacity. Which I've said many times, haven't I? And these two techniques can't be maximized both at once. At least it's the current limit of humans in this era.
Tower of Mages has proved this experiment valid in the past. For normal Aura users, they can't control that much of Aura all at once, for extremely strong existence like Sage and above Sage level, it takes too much time but not that much effective as expected. Because their maximum output is totally overwhelming compared to others', isn't it? So it's such a waste of time.
By the way, if an Aura user doesn't have that advantage in offending and he isn't that good in offending, balancing between Guard and Ignite isn't a bad choice. Yet, nor a good one. In training, it's fine, but for those who live by drinking blood on the blades, bad offending skills always lead them to death. So, sometimes we can't determine which option is good or bad, but worth or not, because our perspective and knowledge are different.
Alright, enough, let's move on.
And with that 70% output, for one second, Raigan can break down a thin blade like rapiers, swords, arming swords and normal longswords. It can be easily done after many short clashes via combat trades.
For the larger ones like war axes, great axes, great swords, maces,... it should be around 3 to 5.5 seconds in total. And those are all cases of legendary weapons, let alone to use epic items to stand against that ability. Indeed, Raigan isn't a fraud to be able to rule The Holy Council over a century.
So the answer might be you, Zizum. Aetheria finishes his calculation and ends up with a gauntlet made by Zizum, the ores found in the Semi-Calamity grade rift.
Based on its function as a container, Aetheria can make sure that at least over six seconds is the probable period of safe time for him facing Vibration Ability. At this level, six seconds is just enough to take advantage.
Also, Aetheria didn't say that he only has one pair of gauntlets. The total amount is actually five. Why? Oh come on, it isn't a unique item and which can't be bought by money, can be bought by a lot of money indeed.
Zizum Gauntlets have been equipped.
*Crack* – Losing one then replacing another one, an arming sword has been equipped.
*Clack* – On the other hand, Aphenim is again called out.
Heavenly Song! Now the delay is again applied for two seconds.
Rushing toward since the last information Raigan could get was his position after pushing a shield forward. Of course, Aphenim is unique in his storage, so Atheria won't sacrifice it just for a strike. Instead, he rushed toward the opponent with a cutlass ready to cut everything in the way.
Raigan isn't dumb, he knows that a cutlass can land many strikes in that case. The reason that he didn't use those two spears was he's in a hurry to stabilize the energy flows inside himself and his ability limit. In short, Vibration is only usable when he touches targets by his hands, and can't transfer through the weapons possessed by his own. But in this situation, Raigan has no more time to hesitate nor room to breathe an unnecessary breath.
*Crack* – Planting the spears into the ground, high enough to stop the strike at his head level, while stepping forth and lowering his pose, and wide enough to two sides in order not to block his own way.
As I said, he stepped forth and caught a fist punching toward his heart.
This brat, he truly aimed to damage my stability in mobilizing energy by aiming to my heart. Yet, it seems like luck has stood by my side!
At that moment, Raigan caught a right fist. And the reason that he thought like that was because of the dagger attached on that gauntlet. If he didn't catch it, that blade would already stab through his heart.
So it would be! His reflex is really insane, that Pontiff really catches the spear at his right side and swings it fast. Obviously, he aimed to parry the slash.
*Clash* – That's right, it seems like it's your ending already.
By holding that right gauntlet tight, Raigan can feel the tug-of-war between that fist pushing forth and his hand's struggling to prevent the blade piercing through his skin. Through this evidence, Raigan knows that Aetheria is still there and attacking him.
By evaluating the range and distance, Raigan knew that he had to swing his spear as fast as possible. And just for now, he knows that he has won the bet, two seconds aren't that long.
Yet, at the point he couldn't know, Aetheria had detached the right gauntlet and transferred a lot of Aura into it - shooting forward to simulate a strike he would do. This technique was also shown when Aliny split her Aura up to twenty times to redirect the trajectory of the object. Even though Aetheria isn't a projector, he's still able to split the Aura burst to three different parts with different amounts of Aura and pace among each phase. Perfectly simulating a real strike.
Also the cutlass was set in the air and shot toward the Pontiff by controlling Aura, Aetheria didn't aim to stay in front of Raigan at his very first step. Instead, at the rear a straight sword has already been lightened up by Aura.
Jack of All Trades has been activated.
Shield Piercing! Stabbing the blade forth, at the heart he's planned to destroy for so long. Non-stop, he keeps taking it out and stabbing it back at many spots.
Realizing the truth, Raigain swiftly turns back, aiming to hit Aeth at least once.
However, the left gauntlet is still there, he used it to catch that hand of the Pontiff.
*Splash* – Just like how Romeo clutched Tybalt, at that throat he pierced his sword through. With the blood overflowing as river through the wounds, it seems like the winner has been decided.
Not yet! Aetheria doesn't stop.
*Splash* – Two cuts dealt two wounds. Raigan's left arm has been cut, also his entire torso. Which means he's now disabled to move when Heavenly Song is off, unless he uses his right hand to–
*Splash* – Never mind, it's also cut down. Meanwhile, two seconds have passed but Raigan's nightmare just unfortunately stays still.
Grooves? Why…
Witnessing the pattern on that blade was unusual, it can't help the sword in cutting, stabbing or unleashing more power through each slash.
*Splash* – But it seems like he just gets it now. At all the spots that blade stabbed through, a lot of concentrated pieces of Aura brutally exploded inside his body. It's over.
*Splash* – His neck is stabbed through by that sword - preventing him from chanting a term.
*Splash* – The spears are just too good to use right there, stabbing them all through Raigan's heart and the left lung which wasn't destroyed totally.
"Repent."
*Crack* – Putting a nail right at the center of the forehead, Aetheria takes out a hammer and uses Jack of All Trades again to slam it down. This nail is also another legendary item used to seal targets, yet, its target is one's soul. Which means whenever this nail is still pinned to that head, Raigan can't escape by changing his existence to essence form or splitting his soul from the body - it's truly a dead end.
At the same time, Aeth has already set up a material for a formation at seven grade. With this one, he's confident enough to seal this heresy until death. With all these disadvantages, Raigan is now unable to do anything, he's not dead, but currently on his way to be indeed.
*Crack* – That three-section staff has slammed down both upon Har's head and the thin space layer between them. He can sense it, the unstable points!
Meanwhile, there's something cracking too. Is it…?
Beneath that fist, a doubled frame has been broken.
Is it the end yet?
