"Wind Blades?" Yue Hua Yin frowned, his long, narrow eyes squinting slightly. "It does look like a Wind Ability. A High-level Wind Ability, at that."
He pondered for a moment, then it dawned on him. "Are you saying the Bai Yao Star Master beat us to it and killed him?!"
A meaningful glint flashed in Sheng Tianze's eyes. "Yes."
"But—" Hua Xi was confused. "We went after Kuang Xue overnight to kill him and avenge our Female Master. Why would he act so quickly?"
Ye Kuo said, "The Bai Yao Star Master has always been open and honorable. He doesn't seem like the type to kill someone to silence them."
Sheng Tianze didn't say much more, only adding, "Whatever his reasons, have him stay away from our Female Master from now on."
Everyone nodded.
An hour later, the group left the hotel and headed straight for another security checkpoint in the interstellar prison town.
