ARIANA
Aliya looked at the newlyweds, her eyes bloodshot red, lips trembling as she kept draining down
the contents of wine in the glasses before her.
It felt so good to be back. After 7 years I was finally out of prison. It's sad though that I have to
spend my first day of freedom attending my ex husband's wedding to the very same girl I tried to
eliminate years ago.
I'm not going to lie, she looked pretty. She looked like a freakin goddess in that gown. Her sons
were beautiful too, she was really blessed. It feels like just yesterday she was this weak lamb
but look at her today, powerful, wealthy, crazy how life works.
Happily ever after doesn't usually happen in real life though. Mahira would learn that soon,
Thane too.
Elena has grown up too. She would become a beautiful woman, that's for sure. Too bad I'd have
to get rid of her eventually.
By the time I'm done with all of them, they won't even know what hit them.
'Look at them, dancing around like fools, that's supposed to be me in that dress, with him.'
I almost forgot about the annoying brat sitting next to me. Somehow I had to tolerate her for the
sake of my revenge. Unfortunately she was going to be useful for what I had in store for my
amazing enemies.
Mahira's life will be completely destroyed and Thane, huh, he will suffer and bear pain for the
rest of his life. I had to spend seven years in prison because of them but I'm back now.
With Aliya as my temporary accomplice my plan will definitely succeed. Blood will be shed.
The wedding ended at around 8 pm. The family went back home forgetting about Aliya and she
was too upset to even realize it.
I snapped my fingers in front of her three times until she snapped out of whatever daze she was
in.
'Listen here baby girl. If you want to win then you have to be sharp always, I will get rid of you if
you drag me down.'
'Are you threatening me? Who the hell do you think you are?'
'Emotions don't work in revenge. Remember that.' She rolled her eyes at me and took another glass of champagne to gulp it down but I snatched
the glass from her and threw it on the floor.
'You need to be sober if you want this to work out.'
