Zena awoke once again. The room was the same, but it also felt different. Maybe it was the lack of the pain she had felt before or maybe it was the difference she felt in her body.
There was no one in the room except Zena. Looking around she saw a notepad on the desk next to her bed.
Grabbing the notepad she looked at the message written on it. Her eyes first looked at the top. Thirty seven tallies marked the top of the page. Looking down she read.
'Dear Zena,
If you are reading this then you have finally awoken. The tallies at the top mark how many days you have been out.'
"Thirty seven days. I have been out for thirty seven days. How was I out for that long?"
She continued reading.

After reading the message, Zean looked back at the desk and saw a makeshift pencil. Looking at the paper she thought for a moment before writing 'I'm awake'.

'It is. They both talk about the rules of hunting. Why does everything thing related to delusion have to be hunting related? Like does it want my flaw to activate.
Speaking of my flaw, was it those random attacks. If so, why then. It hasn't affected me before, so why then. Was it because I was in combat? If it was because of that then fighting is going to just get more dangerous for me.'
Sighing Zena scanned her new attribute.

"Zena you're up!" A voice echoed.
Zena head snapped up. The unexpected voice caught her off guard.
"Oh hey Healas, didn't see you there." Zena said while holding her neck.
"Its good to see you up, I was starting to think you wouldn't. I mean the healers said you would, but no one has ever survived having their soul attacked by that thing. The fact you lived it was actually a first, let alone your soul healing like it did."
"Hey Healas I got a question." Zena's face slightly darkened. "How many of us survived?"
Healas' mood noticeably dropped, "Three of us. Me, you, and Mei. It's always like this. Only me and a few others are able to escape it. I got Mei, as she was a healer. I thought everyone was already dead, but then I saw you in front of the Day Clock, so I was able to do a short distance transfer. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help more."
"It's alright. I understand your focus on Mei. I will thank you for saving me at the end though. If only I didn't hurt my ankle. I might have been able to make it without your help."
"How did you hurt your ankle. It's unusually for us to trip, let alone get injured like you were." Healas asked.
"I had to dodge something that caught me off guard."
"What do you mean, I felt you trip when you were in my field. There was nothing there to attack you."

"Ok, then let me go get the healers so they can do the proper checks now that your awake." With that Healas left the room.
