IN THE KINGDOM OF POWER
We see millions of people escape from courtyard with the help of Arthur and his soldiers and other side Ashoka standing while holding his sword. He gathers his magic into the sword, and it begins glowing with a golden shine because of the magic.
On the other side,
Kan-ki and his 50,000 soldiers form a huge circle around Ashoka.
Kan-ki says,
"Ashoka, drop your sword and surrender. You also know that you can't defeat me and Tangen while fighting this many soldiers."
Ashoka replies in a kingly voice and says,
"Kan-ki, so now you address me as Ashoka and not as your King? Don't forget that I am still holding the position of King."
Kan-ki replies,
"Don't try to manipulate us. The only King I recognize is Tangen. Stop this foolish talk and surrender. Otherwise, I will personally attack you."
Suddenly, Tangen orders Kan-ki,
"Stop warning him and attack him with your soldiers."
Kan-ki and his soldiers prepare to attack Ashoka.
But Ashoka stops them and says one last thing, like a king giving an order to his soldiers.
"Soldiers... before attacking me, remember that you know how strong I am. And for your information, General Albert is on my side. Even if you successfully kill me today, do you have the courage to face General Albert?"
After hearing this, all the soldiers stop and stand still.
The soldiers start talking among themselves.
1st Soldier: "What? General Albert is on Ashoka's side?"
2nd Soldier: "I thought General Albert was the Royal Throne's slave."
3rd Soldier: "If General Albert is with King Ashoka, then I can't attack him."
4th Soldier: "Yes... you're right. How can we face General Albert?"
Tangen asks Kan-ki,
"Why did they stop after hearing that Albert is with Ashoka?"
Kan-ki replies and explains,
"Because of General Albert. Almost all soldiers who serve the Kingdom of Power are commoners. There are very few nobles serving as soldiers, and they usually work directly under the ministers' personal guards. The other commanders are nobles as well. I am a noble, Arthur is a high noble, old man Miyamoto holds a noble title because King Rajendra granted him one, and Vikram is also a noble.
You are King Rajendra's first son, so you are half noble and half commoner, but you still possess royal blood. However, General Albert holds the highest military title of General despite being a commoner. King Rajendra once offered Albert a noble title, but General Albert refused it because he wanted to set an example that an ordinary commoner could achieve the rank of General through hard work.
Because of that, all soldiers respect General Albert.
I lied to them by saying Albert was merely a slave of the Royal Throne. So if you became King, it wouldn't have been a big problem. But now they've discovered that Albert is with Ashoka. I don't think they'll fight against him."
The soldiers become confused and no longer know which side is right.
Ashoka says,
"If you leave Kan-ki and Tangen's side and stand behind me, I will forgive your betrayal and give you a second chance."
Some soldiers ask Kan-ki,
"Is King Ashoka telling the truth? Is General Albert really with him?"
Kan-ki replies with disappointment and says,
"Yes... he is telling the truth. If you want to change sides, then go. I won't stop you."
After hearing this, many soldiers begin moving toward Ashoka's side.
Around 30,000 soldiers move to Ashoka's side, while the remaining 20,000 stay with Kan-ki.
Kan-ki is shocked and asks,
"What...? Why did you choose me even after hearing the truth?"
The soldiers smile, and one of them says,
"Commander Kan-ki, we know you would never betray this kingdom. We have served under you for many years. Even if you don't tell us the truth, do you think we wouldn't understand?"
Kan-ki is confused and asks,
"What do you mean?"
The soldier replies,
"We all respect General Albert, but we can't leave you during your hardest time. We know you're doing this to save your daughter."
Kan-ki is shocked and confused at the same time.
"How do you know that? I didn't even tell old man Miyamoto about this. Then how did you find out?"
The soldier replies,
"Someone told us, and you know him."
Kan-ki tries to ask something else...
But Ashoka says,
"So, you soldiers still want to fight on their side? Alright."
Ashoka then orders his soldiers to attack, but also tells them,
"Do not kill them."
Both groups of soldiers begin clashing equally. Since both sides had previously served under Kan-ki and were trained by him, they knew each other's strengths and weaknesses.
Both sides fight fiercely, and neither side is willing to surrender.
However, Kan-ki is not fighting.
Tangen says,
"Kan-ki, why aren't you fighting?"
Kan-ki replies,
"I can't fight against my own soldiers. I trained them. How can I kill them?"
On the other side, Ashoka is also standing still and watching the battle between the soldiers.
Tangen pressures Kan-ki and says,
"So, you don't want to save your daughter? Fine. Then don't fight."
Kan-ki bites his tongue in anger and says,
"Bastard."
Kan-ki then mounts his horse and charges toward Ashoka.
None of the soldiers try to stop him because they all know he is doing this to save his daughter.
Ashoka notices Kan-ki charging toward him, but suddenly two arrows are fired in Kan-ki's direction.
Kan-ki sees the arrows and cuts one of them with his sword, but the other arrow strikes his horse.
The horse panics and throws Kan-ki to the ground.
Tangen, the soldiers, and Kan-ki are all confused about who fired the arrows.
Then we see Luna entering the Royal Palace courtyard while riding a horse and holding a bow. Commander Miyamoto is also with her. He is riding a horse, holding a katana in his hand, and leading 300,000 soldiers into the courtyard.
Kan-ki is shocked and says,
"Old man Miyamoto! Who rescued you? And how did anyone find that place?"
Tangen says angrily and with frustration,
"All of my plans are failing one after another, and now Miyamoto is here with this many soldiers."
All of Kan-ki's soldiers drop their swords after seeing Miyamoto and his army. Miyamoto's soldiers quickly surround them in the palace courtyard, forcing them to surrender.
Kan-ki also thinks,
"Now... I think it's time to surrender."
