Chapter 47 - WAR OF THRONE [CH=43] [ Brother's Clash ]

In the Kingdom of Power {In the Palace Courtyard}

We see a stressful situation unfolding in the palace courtyard. On one side, Ashoka sits on the throne, while on the other side, Tangen is very angry because he did not expect Ashoka to come to the Kingdom of Power without any notice, without any help, completely alone, and directly sit on the throne.

Both Ashoka and Tangen stare at each other with murderous intent.

On the other side, Kan-ki is also a little shocked to see that Ashoka came directly without Albert or any army or soldiers to fight Tangen.

Ashoka's mother {Queen Victoria} tries to talk to Ashoka in a polite tone and says,

"Ashoka, my son. Don't be angry and just listen to me. For now, leave the throne. I want to discuss something about your father's last wish."

Ashoka stops Queen Victoria and replies in an angry yet respectful tone,

"Mom, please don't interrupt in this matter. You have already done many things, and I know who manipulated you. I also know Father's last wish, but when I was leaving for training, Father also talked with me and gave me an order to fulfill my dream. And to fulfill my dream, I want this throne. So for now, don't try to stop me."

Tangen also says in an angry tone,

"Mother, I think my little brother has become greedy for this throne, and now I have to teach him a lesson."

Then both Ashoka and Tangen tighten their grips on their swords and prepare to attack each other.

Ashoka uses his [Power Magic] and gathers magical power in his legs and sword. His sword shines with a golden color, and the speed of his legs increases tenfold.

On the other side, Tangen's specialty is speed. He moves at lightning speed to attack Ashoka.

Both Ashoka's and Tangen's swords clash, and because of this collision, millions of people in the courtyard can feel the impact.

Ashoka is impressed with Tangen.

"I don't want to say it, but you are truly my brother. I used [Power Magic] on both my legs and sword, but you still managed to clash with me without using magic."

Tangen smiles and says,

"It's also thanks to you, Ashoka. Because I hated you so much, I decided that even though I don't have any magical power, I inherited King Rajendra's blood and raw strength. Thinking that, I trained my speed and body beyond my limits to defeat you."

Ashoka takes two steps back and replies in an arrogant tone,

"But you still can't defeat me in this life."

Then Ashoka chants a water spell and forms several water arrows. He fuses those water arrows with Power Magic, increasing their damage.

Tangen is a little shocked, but he composes himself. Tightening his grip on his sword, he increases his speed and cuts the water arrows apart.

Ashoka is a little confused and shocked to see that Tangen cut through his water arrows because they were also enhanced with Power Magic.

On the other side...

People in the courtyard start to panic upon seeing Ashoka and Tangen fighting. Queen Victoria is also scared to see this battle because she does not want to see her two sons fight each other. She thought she could talk with Ashoka and convince him to leave the throne, but now the situation is out of her hands.

She orders Commander Arthur to stop them.

But Arthur replies respectfully,

"Queen, I already told you that I will remain neutral in this matter. Even so, I can't stop them right now. Because of this fight, normal people can feel the impact, and millions of people have started panicking. My soldiers are moving the commoners and nobles out of the courtyard. If they remain here, they may get hurt and won't be able to withstand the pressure of this battle."

Then the Queen looks at Commander Kan-ki and also orders him to stop the fight.

Kan-ki respectfully replies,

"Yes, Queen. As you command, I will try to stop this fight. But it is not safe for you to watch this battle from so close because you may also get hurt."

Then Kan-ki orders the Queen's royal soldiers {these soldiers were appointed by Tangen} to take the Queen to a safe place.

Kan-ki then orders his 50,000 soldiers to attack Ashoka and says,

"I don't care about the commoners or nobles. Help Tangen defeat Ashoka, and if anyone gets in your way, kill them. I'll handle everything, whether they are nobles or not."

We see Ashoka and Tangen clashing swords at equal speed. Even though Ashoka is using magic to increase his strength and speed, Tangen still matches every attack and deflects them.

Ashoka says proudly,

"I can't believe it. Tangen, you are truly very strong. If a normal person, a commander, or even Albert were here, they would have taken damage from my attacks. But you still manage to handle them without magic, and you even cut through my water spell."

Then, in a serious tone, he says,

"I seriously don't want to say this, but I don't want to disrespect your power and skills.

You are truly worthy of being my big brother."

Tangen becomes furious and replies,

"Don't act like you're superior to me, Ashoka."

Then Tangen aims for Ashoka's neck and attacks at an unimaginable speed.

But Ashoka also has battle experience. He sees the attack and dodges it easily.

However, it was only a distraction.

Then Tangen kicks Ashoka in the stomach.

Ashoka feels as if his stomach has taken severe damage.

The reason is that a small foldable knife is attached to Tangen's leg. When he kicked Ashoka in the stomach, the foldable knife opened and cut into Ashoka's abdomen.

Tangen laughs and says,

"You call yourself my brother. You can't even dodge such a simple attack."

Ashoka becomes angry and chants a recovery spell that he learned from Elara. After that, he feels a little better.

But in Ashoka's thoughts:

"Recovery spells can heal me a little, but not completely. And I can't use a recovery spell together with my Power Magic. If I do that, I won't be able to use my magic at full strength to continue fighting him."

At that moment, Kan-ki and his soldiers reach the middle of the courtyard, where Ashoka and Tangen are fighting.

Tangen tries to say,

"Don't interrupt this fight."

But Kan-ki replies,

"Don't act like a fool. He knows how to use magic, and after watching your fight, I also found out that he somehow learned to use spells. {But how?}

Now, defeating him is not only a matter of power. We also need numbers."

Then we see Kan-ki order his soldiers to form a circle around Ashoka.

Fifty thousand soldiers surround Ashoka, who stands in the middle holding his sword.

Ashoka thinks,

"Shit... I have already taken some damage, and now there are 50,000 soldiers. These are the soldiers of my kingdom. They are stronger than the normal soldiers of other kingdoms. Even if I defeat them with my Power Magic and spells, after defeating them, I will be left with only a little magic and strength.

Luna, John, where are you? I need Miyamoto and his soldiers.

Come fast."
