[POV - Momo][Sainan - Yuuki House]

Fascinating.

I watched Rito-san climb the stairs toward the smoke with that irritating calm that only someone VERY confident — or VERY powerful — can have. Interesting. Very interesting.

Analysis mode.

Ever since daddy casually mentioned six months ago that he had met someone who "wasn't affected by his aura," I became curious. Daddy, the Conquering King, the man who made entire galaxies bow... intimidated by a Japanese student?

Impossible.

Or at least, it should be impossible.

But.

But the way daddy bowed upon arriving here... the way he spoke Rito-san's name with genuine RESPECT...

There was something more to this boy.

Much more.

Observation.

I analyzed the environment while we waited. The house was modest — nothing compared to the royal palaces I knew. But there was something... welcoming... about it. As if love and family had been baked into the very walls.

Rito-san's sister, Mikan, was clearly stressed but continued serving tea with perfection. Family dedication. Mental note: family is important to him.

Interesting dynamic.

And then there was Lala. My older sister, always so carefree, always so chaotic. But when she looked at Rito-san... there was something different in her eyes. It wasn't just teenage passion or royal whim.

It was real love.

Genuine.

— Momo-chan — mommy gently nudged me — you're making that face again.

— What face? — I asked innocently.

— The "I'm scheming something" face — she replied with that maternal smile that saw through all my masks.

Busted.

— I'm just... observing — I admitted.

Footsteps.

Step-step-step.

Footsteps coming down the stairs. Rito-san appeared, without a scratch, without soot, without anything. As if he'd taken a walk in the park instead of dealing with an explosion.

— All resolved — he said casually. — Lala's invention had a... design error... but I've already fixed it.

Wait.

— You fixed it? — I asked, tilting my head. — Lala's inventions are notoriously complex. Even our best galactic engineers have difficulty with them.

Pause.

He paused, realizing he had revealed something.

— Well... — he searched for words — let's say I have a knack for technology.

Lie.

It was a lie. Or at least, not the complete truth. But I let it pass. For now.

Knock-knock.

Toc-toc-toc.

Knocking at the door interrupted the moment.

— I'll get it! — Mikan practically ran to the door, clearly happy to have an excuse to leave the awkward room.

Voices.

Female voices echoed from the hallway.

— Is Yuuki-kun alright? I heard an explosion!

— Rito-san! I was worried!

Oh?

My ears perked up. Female voices. Worried about Rito-san.

This just got interesting.

Enter stage left.

Two girls rushed into the room. The first had long purple hair and eyes of the same violet color, with that "shoujo manga protagonist" energy and an adorable shyness. The second had blonde hair and green eyes that shone with genuine concern.

— Rito-san! — the blonde ran toward him. — Are you hurt?

— I'm fine, Asia — he assured, and there was AFFECTION in his voice. — It was just a small accident.

Asia.

Mental note: girl number two. (Lala being number one, obviously.)

— Yuuki-kun — the purple-haired one said more timidly, her cheeks flushing slightly — I... well... I was also worried when I saw the smoke.

Shy type.

Classic shy girl in love. I could recognize the signs from miles away. And those purple eyes shone with genuine concern.

— Haruna-san — Rito responded gently — sorry for worrying you. Everything is under control.

Haruna.

Mental note: girl number three. Purple hair and eyes — rare and beautiful combination.

Calculation time.

Let me see... Lala was always talking about "Rito-kun this" and "Rito-kun that". And now there were at least two other girls clearly interested in him. And the way he treated both with equal gentleness and care...

Perfect.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Grin.

I felt a smile growing on my face. The Harem Plan I had fantasized about for years, that perfect solution for royal succession problems...

Was already working. Without me needing to do ANYTHING.

— Momo? — Nana poked me. — Why are you smiling in that creepy way?

— It's not creepy — I corrected. — It's... hopeful.

Confusion.

— You're weird — Nana muttered.

Observation continues.

I watched the interactions. Asia approached Rito, checking if he was really okay. Haruna stayed a bit further back, clearly wanting to approach but being too shy. And Lala... Lala didn't seem jealous at all.

Interesting.

Actually, she seemed... happy? As if she was glad that other people also liked Rito.

Compatible personality.

Lala was perfect for a polygamous relationship. I always knew that. She was never the possessive type.

Planning mode.

— So — I said out loud, drawing everyone's attention — you're friends of Rito-san?

Blush.

Both blushed.

— Y-yes — Asia replied. — I live nearby. Rito-san helped me a lot when I arrived in Japan.

— And I'm... — Haruna hesitated, her purple eyes shyly averting — I'm his classmate.

More than classmate.

By the way she looked at him, she was MUCH more than a classmate. At least in her feelings.

— That's great! — I said animatedly, standing up. — I'm Momo, Lala's sister. It's so nice to meet my future brother-in-law's friends!

Reactions.

Asia smiled sweetly and shyly. Haruna turned even redder, those purple eyes widening. And Rito...

Rito looked at me with that expression of "I know exactly what you're doing."

Smart man.

— Momo — he said calmly — what are you scheming?

— Scheming? — I asked with false innocence. — I don't know what you're talking about, Rito-san. I'm just being friendly.

Snort.

Nana snorted.

— When Momo is "friendly," it usually means she's planning something complicated.

Rude.

— Nana-chan, you wound me — I pretended to be offended.

Giggle.

Lala laughed, clearly enjoying the dynamic.

— Momo has always been the family strategist — she explained to Rito. — Daddy says she inherited his tactical side.

Compliment accepted.

— I'll take that as a compliment — I said.

Doorbell.

Ding-dong.

The doorbell rang again.

— Seriously? — Mikan looked exhausted. — How many people are going to show up today?

— I'll go! — I volunteered quickly, jumping toward the door.

Opportunity.

Opportunity to collect more information.

Open.

I opened the door and...

Wow.

A girl with vibrant red hair and blue-green eyes stood on the other side. And she wasn't just any girl. I could feel demonic power emanating from her like expensive perfume.

— Hello — she said politely. — My name is Rias Gremory. I'm looking for Yuuki Rito. There's... well... there's a giant spaceship over the city and I assumed he would know something about it.

Demon.

Demon. High-class, by the power I felt. And looking for Rito.

Girl number four?

— Rias Gremory — I repeated, memorizing the name. — Come in! Rito-san is in the living room.

Study time.

When Rias entered and saw Rito, something passed over her face. Relief, yes. But also something deeper. Something that made my strategist heart sing with joy.

Another one.

Girl number four.

Perfect.

This was more perfect than I could have imagined.

Schemes forming.

— Rito! — Rias approached. — Are you alright? When I felt the energy and then saw the ship...

— I'm great — he assured. — Rias, these are Lala's parents. And her sisters.

Introductions.

Introductions were made. I watched everything with hawk eyes.

The way Rias looked at Rito. The way Asia positioned herself protectively near him. The way Haruna, with those beautiful purple eyes, tried not to be obvious about her feelings. And Lala, in the center of it all, completely happy.

Four girls.

Four girls. At least four I had seen in less than an hour.

And all clearly interested in the same man.

Harem Plan.

The Harem Plan wasn't just possible. It was already happening naturally.

I just needed to... encourage... it a little bit.

Whisper.

I leaned toward Nana and whispered:

— Nana-chan, I think we're about to have many sisters-in-law.

— WHAT?! — she practically shouted.

Shush.

— Shhhh — I put my finger to my lips. — Watch and learn, little sister. Watch and learn.

This is going to be fun.

Because if there was something I loved more than carnivorous plants...

It was a good social engineering project.

And this one? This was going to be my masterpiece.

Let the games begin.
