Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 A Home Beyond Reach

An Estimated One often held major positions in powerful forces, such as Emperor Lineages or Immortal Sects, serving as elders of those factions.

The next realm of cultivation was the Supreme Realm. Beings at this level were often referred to as Supreme Beings, declaring themselves supreme to the world. A Supreme Being was not only a supreme existence in the Nine Emperor World but also one of the most supreme and noble existences in the entire Endless Haven.

A Supreme Being could exert major influence over the world.

Other than a Great Emperor, no one could look down upon them or command them. Beings at this level were mostly Ancestors, Sect Masters, Clan Heads, or Supreme Elders of major forces, Emperor Lineages, and Immortal Sects.

An all out war between Supreme Beings could Completely shake and heavily damage the Nine Emperor World if the Heavenly Dao did not use the world's Origin Essence to heal it.

After that came the next and final realm of cultivation, or at least as far as he knew the Great Emperor Realm.

A Great Emperor was the most noble, supreme, and powerful existence in the entire Nine Emperor World as well as all of the Endless Haven. A Great Emperor could exert Complete and absolute influence over the world.

An all out battle between two Great Emperors could completely destroy the Nine Emperor World If the heavenly Dao didn't heal those Damage using World source. The power and might of a Great Emperor were so terrifying and dreadful that not even the Heavenly Dao of the Nine Emperor World could stop them, let alone resist them. The world itself would be destroyed by the battle between Great Emperors.

There had even been cases of Many worlds being destroyed by clashes between Great Emperors within the Endless Haven.

'So terrifying! Great Emperors are truly the noblest and most dreadful beings in existence. Thank God this world wasn't destroyed by them. And I sincerely hope it never will be in the future.'

Xiao thought, feeling glad that this world had not been plunged into a conflict between Great Emperors. Thankfully, the world was currently at peace.

In every generation, every faction in this world fought tooth and nail to nurture a Great Emperor, because only by producing a Great Emperor could their force rule the world and obtain even greater destiny and fortune.

Then, thinking about something else, Xiao's heart was filled with bittersweet emotions as he let out a bitter smile.

'It really looks like I can't return home until I become a Great Emperor.'

He silently looked at the scenery before him.

His life on Earth had been neither particularly good nor particularly bad. Instead, it had been somewhat ordinary and monotonous, but in a good way.

He was born in a random city in China and was raised in an orphanage, just like the Xiao of this world. From birth until then, he had never known who his biological parents were, nor did he want to know.

When he was six years old, a sweet and loving couple adopted him. Their financial condition was quite good.

Although they were not an ultra wealthy family, his adoptive parents were still very rich in America. They owned their own business, several houses, properties across the country, and many cars as well.

After adopting him, they took him to America, where Xiao grew up. Even though he had been an orphan at first, his life became filled with joy and happiness after he was adopted and began living with them.

But unfortunately for him, his happiness did not last long. When he was around thirteen years old, his parents died in a car accident while they were away on a business trip in another state.

While he was drowning in grief and sadness after his parents' passing, some of his parents' relatives, driven by greed and evil intentions toward his inheritance, did everything in their power to bribe the court and gain custody of him.

At that time, he was only thirteen years old and could do nothing except watch helplessly as the inheritance his parents had left behind for him was about to be swallowed by those bastards.

But it seemed fate had a different plan, because just as the court was about to hand over his custody to those relatives, his grandmother appeared. Using her power and influence, she made the court grant custody to her instead.

She had been a politician before retiring and was living in the countryside. Because of that, everything went smoothly, as nobody dared to mess with her. She was a very influential woman with strong connections to many powerful figures across the country.

After that, his grandmother took him to her farmhouse in the countryside, and from then on, he lived with her.

Living with his grandmother, his life once again returned to its usual peace and liveliness.

His grandmother was truly knowledgeable, wise, and cunning. From her, he learned many things, such as diplomacy, politics, war strategy, chess, the power of influence and connections, manipulation, and much more.

His grandmother was also kind, calm, funny, and mischievous. Living with her, Xiao never really felt that he was missing his parents.

Instead, he felt at peace with her. He found his grandmother to be an incredibly funny and interesting person. As he grew up, she taught him many things, such as how the world truly worked and how to realistically achieve his goals step by step.

From her, he also learned what had happened to his parents' business, properties, investments, and fortune after their deaths.

After his parents passed away, his grandmother sold their real estate company for millions of dollars. Then, she donated all of the money, properties, and investments they had owned into their family trust.

Inside that trust were his grandmother's assets as well as the fortunes of every single member of their family across multiple generations.

When he asked her what a trust was and why their family used one instead of simply owning everything under their own names, his grandmother simply smiled calmly, though her eyes were filled with cunning.

She then explained to him what a trust was, why wealthy families used it, and how rich people preserved their generational wealth for many generations to come.
