My eyes opened slowly, I could hear someone humming , I slowly sat up,and my head felt like someone was hitting a hammer on it , it felt like my head will split open at any second.
"Ma'am" a voice called, I fully opened my eyes and a Middle aged lady was holding up a tea cup by my bed side.where the fuck am I
I scratched my eye, thinking I was hallucinating, I looked around and I thought I was in heaven Am I dead? Oh I made it to heaven at least .
I stood up from the bed ignoring the lady I felt she wasn't real .
The room I was in was massive, very tall curtains, huge mirror and vanity
Not to colorful but mostly white with few blank and grey decorations, oh wow! I exclaimed sighting the huge book stacked section, I pinched my Self , am I dreaming?
I looked back at the bed I stood up from, it was so gigantic,with white covers and duvet , it looked like those beds you would see in princess movies .
I was just in awe..
"Ma'am" the lady said again, have your tea please it'll help with your hangover .
"Hi, sorry , where am I please?"i asked her with utmost confusion in my eyes .
"Miss Rosetta came back home with you last night, you were passed out from drinking I guess " she said and looked at me with concern.
"You mean Rosetta Ashford? My boss !!??
"Yes ma'am, this is her house that you're in " she replied still carrying the cup in her hands in place .
Wtf ? I slept over at my bosses house ?? I took the cup and chugged down whatever it was that was in the cup, it tastes like tea, not too bitter or sweet, it gave me ginger and lemon aftertaste.
"Would you like to come down for breakfast or should I bring it up "? She asked.
"No" don't worry I did to go home and prepare for work I said , while looking around for my clothes and property.
"Ma'am your clothes are in the laundry, if that's what you're looking for ? And miss Rosetta said she'll come home on time to see how you're fairing , so maybe wait for her"
" No I need to go " I say to her
Phone rings …
"Hello".. I say as I pick up the number calling
" Hi , how are you doing " the most delicious voice ever asks .
"Im so sorry boss, I over drank last night, I hope you won't fire me ? I asked "
" no I won't " she says and giggles
" I told others you're sick so don't worry about coming to work today, just take your time to recover, Miss Lilian will provide any thing you need , just ask her , I'll be back soon . She says
"Ok" that's all I could mutter before she ended the call .
Why didn't I tell her I just wanted to go home at least here is better than that my cramped room .
