"Malia and I are going to Nicole's for a minute. You should ride with Connor, EJ," Demyan insisted as we waited for our cars to pick us up at the valet.
"I'd rather get a taxi," Edward frowned as he blew out smoke from his cigarette then flung the bud in a bin nearby.
"Don't be difficult Edward and you're with Gabe," Malia stressed, "It's not like Connor is going to eat you."
Edward opened his mouth to argue but the Mercedes Mini van that was there to pick Gabe and I up to take us to Henry's arrived. The driver stepped out to open the door and Demyan was quick to push Edward into the van.
"Call him daddy, apparently he has been missing that," Malia whispered to me before her and Demyan went running to their Rolls Royce as they laughed far too drunk to realize that one of Malia's heels had broken.
