"Ah, sir, welcome home," Rosa greeted politely after I entered the Sanctum. She bowed her head slightly as she moved out of the way, flinching after catching sight of the man following me behind.
Even she could feel that Claude wasn't in a good mood. However, I ignored him and asked where Mory was instead.
"He's sleeping in his room, sir. After eating lunch, he read a book and fell asleep," she replied, sounding excited to report everything Mory had done.
Even without confirming it, I could see that Rosa was fond of Mory. I breathed a sigh of relief. The meeting drowned my worries, but once we were on our way home, I kept thinking about whether hiring Rosa was a good thing.
Seeing her enthusiasm and gentle demeanor, I finally could feel at ease.
"Thanks." I gestured for her to sit on the couch. "Why don't we talk about the things we haven't discussed yet?" I suggested, intending to learn more about her. I also had to tell her that I would be gone for a few days.
