Sabrina sat in her chamber deep in thought, is she really going up to the surface and meet that man again? She thought to herself then shook her head, this is all for her daughter, Genevieve and she would make sure Lucian knows that too, because she knows him.
Airen swam in, "Genevieve has refused to leave her room," she said, Sabrina turned to look at her in worry, "She said she's scared of being mocked,"
"Oh my poor baby," Sabrina said with worry written all over her face,
"Why aren't you taking her to the surface yet?" Airen asked
"I will..." Sabrina trailed as she went back in thought, Airen watched her,
"I know this is because of Lucian but you have to think of Genevieve, everyday in this palace she remains sad," Airen tried to talk to Sabrina who listened quietly,
"We will leave tomorrow," she finally said before turning to look at Airen, "Please look after the kingdom while I'm gone, I don't know how long we will be on the surface but I do know we won't be back soon,"
Airen smiled, "You know I will, Sabrina, Genevieve will be happy when she hears this news,"
"She will," Sabrina added with a small smile. She's doing this for her.
The next day arrived, Sabrina swam to her daughter's chamber and saw the girl was already wide awake and sat as if already waiting for her, Sabrina grinned,
"Did Airen tell you?" She guessed right as the little girl continued to grin happily,
While Airen, Hannah and Cedric swam in,
"We are glad you are doing this," Hannah spoke, "Look at how happy she is," she was referring to Eve who kept smiling,
"She is excited," Cedric chuckled,
"We will be leaving," Sabrina started, "I leave the kingdom in you three hands while I'm gone, please take good care of the people, I will try my possible best to get back as soon as I can,"
"You have nothing to worry about, your highness," Hannah said with a smile, "You just go do what you have to and we will take care of things down here,"
"Thank you,"
They helped them with packing and soon, Sabrina and her daughter swam out of the kingdom, heading for the surface.
"Ain't it nice to have you back, Lyon," Lucian spoke as he sat in Lyon's office now, opposite him, grinning from ear to ear,
"It is?" Lyon asked with a frown,
"Certainly is. So what have you found about the missing of your wolves?"
Lyon sighed, "Still on it. The damn witches are playing hard to get, it seems,"
"Hmm," Lucian hummed, "Need help?"
Lyon was surprised at Lucian offering to help him kill the witches, "Really? You would help me? Why?"
Lucian stood up still smiling, "So many questions, Alpha. I and the witches have unsettled scores to even, it will be unfair if we leave it unbalanced, we have to balance it," his grinned suddenly widen,
Crazy vampire, Lyon thought as he shook his head, it must be because of Sabrina, his expression suddenly turned sad before he looked up at the vampire in front of him,
"You miss her," Lyon said and it didn't take Lucian a second to know who he was referring to, because he could never forget that woman, he grinned as he stared at Lyon,
"Just because I'm offering to help you, doesn't mean I allow you to show any emotion towards my wife. You are now married aren't you? Focus more on your troublesome wife and leave mine to me," Lucian glared at him before walking out of his office,
Sabrina had swam up to the surface with Genevieve, who stared shockingly at the pair of legs she now possessed, she stared stunned as she continued sitting on the ground, while her mother stood up and quickly changed into a gown,
Sabrina turned to look at her daughter and smiled, "Aren't you going to get up, Eve?"
Eve looked up at her mother who also had the strange thing called legs, her mother was standing on it,
"Mother, are these legs?" The girl asked,
"Yes, my dear," Sabrina responded, "Now get up quick and let's put a dress on for you, I don't want you catching cold,"
Eve tried to get up but her legs shook and she fell back on the ground,
"Oh dear," Sabrina said as she chuckled, "Careful," she helped her up and held her steady, "You are doing good," she smiled as she kissed her daughter's forehead,
After dressing her, Sabrina held her hand and walked away from the forest they stood that was close to the castle, the very spot where Lucian always came to torment her, she saw flashes but quickly pushed them aside. This was all about Eve and not her past love story,
She wasn't going to the castle now, she needed to get to her village first and meet her mother, they needed to settle in first then the next day they will head to the castle. With that her and her daughter headed towards the main road, where they board a carriage that drove towards her village,
But Sabrina had to stop the carriage at Woodrow market to get some clothes and shoes for her and Eve. They got down and walked to a store where gowns were displayed but before they went in Sabrina had stopped in front of a stall where hats were being sold, she needed it to cover her face so the villagers wouldn't notice her
