Yuer's fist flew towards Elaine.
Elaine bobbed and weaved with swiftness, evident that she was more than capable in the art of combat.
Elaine parried the next attack with her palm and pushed Yuer back.
Yuer chuckled, "I must say, I'm surprised. A meek little thing like you can handle yourself… Cute, really."
Elaine grew irked. Of course, her sister was the better fighter, but that didn't mean Elaine couldn't hold her own.
"Tiger," Elaine murmured, "bellowing strike." Red aura detonated from her palm, shooting a strike.
Yuer managed to weave under and swept her ankle toward Elaine like a whip. But Elaine dodged and kept doing so as Yuer pushed an onslaught of kicks, round, high, low, they were endless, and Elaine is being set into defense.
'This isn't good…' Elaine thought to herself, side-flipping from another kick. 'I'm not as strong as Mei Mei… can I even beat this lady?!'
Elaine's eyes widened as a foot appeared before her face. She quickly lifted her arms, blocking the strong attack, knocked onto the shelves.
Despite what Elaine was facing, Skysin, on the other hand, was different. Quite the opposite.
Skysin was eluding past Capreece's flurry of punches with speed and precision. His violet eyes kept that lazy edge, and he looked bored, almost.
Capreece snapped a kick toward the boy's waist. But Skysin spoke as he cartwheeled over the attack, "hey, big guy?" Skysin asked, "why're ya working with those people anyways?"
Capreece ignored him with a grunt of agitation, hammering his fist into the ground. Skysin flew into the air, twisting his body as he calmly landed again.
The speedster tapped his toes onto the hardwood floor, "well, am I muted or something?"
"You TALK so goddamn much! Why the hell are you yapping like this in a fight?!"
Skysin simply cocked his head, crossing his arms, thinking to himself '…his attacks get erratic when he's pissed…WAIT! I'll use that against 'em…'
Capreece stomped forward, Skysin gave a small chuckle.
"Something funny?" Capreece let the words slowly roll from his tongue, irritation growing by the second.
Skysin made a pebble of ice, propping it between his finger and thumb, then flicked it.
Plop.
The pebble slapped Capreece's nose and hit the ground like a pen. A vein nearly popped on Capreece's forehead, and with zero words, he charged.
Capreece drove a huge fist to Skysin's face, but the boy pivoted just a few inches towards the side. Skysin held his foot out and made Capreece trip, stumbling to the ground.
Just as he turned around, Skysin ran his knuckles across Capreece's cheek. His neck cracked, saliva sputtered out, and he was pissed.
Capreece damn near screamed in rage, his aura billowing into a chaotic mess, pushing Skysin back from pure power alone.
Skysin came to feel a figure press against his own back. He turned around, "oh, hey Elaine! You okay?"
Elaine squeaked in shock for a second, "I'm fine…! Please don't do that again…"
Yuer and Capreece came from opposing directions, slipping a punch to their targets. Elaine and Skysin quickly dodged, pivoting to face each other.
But their enemies pushed on, kicking their feet, carving into a wide arc. Capreece went low, and Yuer; high.
Skysin acted fast, wrapping his arms around Elaline's small waist and rolled sideways into the air, dodging the simultaneous attack. It was so fast that Elaine could hardly even register what had happened!
Skysin landed and spun with Elaine in his arms. Like a dance move, he took hold of her small hand and flicked her out with a spin, "KICK!" Skysin shouted.
Elaine pulled her toned leg back, and scythed a kick onto Yuer's face, sending her crashing into the wall!
Skysin pulled Elaine back onto himself and spun a devious hook onto Capreece's chin! Capreece hit the floor, wood crumbling under, and was sent rolling through tables and chairs!
Impeccable agility. Timing. And execution!!
Skysin sat Elaine down, grinning, scratching the back of his head "…my bad! Had to act fast, y'know? Nice kick though, really knocked her ass down."
Elaine herself was flustered, almost scatter-brained. Her cheeks tinged in rose as she looked up at Skysin, lost of words. The last thing she expected was Skysin to come up with something like that on the fly. 'I've never been this close to a boy before…!!' Elaine squeaked in her thoughts.
"Uhm—It's fine…thank you," Elaine managed to chirp out, withdrawing her head.
Her light brown eye watched as Caprrece lunged right to Skysin, enraged, "behind you!!"
Skysin quickly lifted Elaine into a bridal-carry and leapt as Capreece slammed his fist into the floor. Skysin came back down, kicking his feet onto Capreece's face, and jumped off the man like some stool, to the opposite side of the guild.
Capreece yanked his arm out, pointing, "you little shit! You think you two brats can just flirt and be all lovey-dovey right now?!! IN FRONT OF ME!!! I'll drag your scrawny ass against a brick wall you BASTARD!!"
Skysin merely lifted his shoulders, unbothered, "not my fault you're boring as hell, man." He bit the nail of his thumb, "rather be fighting that Mory guy or old dude right now… bet they're more of a challenge."
Caprrece was red-faced hearing that cocky ass response. So pissed off that it looked like smoke was shooting from his ears. Capreece lunged like a steam roller, screaming.
Skysin looked to Elaine, "that weird lady is all yours." He gave her a gentle push, moving her from the target area.
Elaine looked back.
Skysin shot a thumbs up as Capreece tackled him, smashing through the guild walls.
"Skysin!!"
Rubble shifted, catching Elaine's attention. Yuer exited from debris, a busted lip, annoyed, her eyes sharpened. "Weird how you're deemed as such a reliable asset. It's aggravating. You're nothing but some cute cheerleader for your sister. Useless." Yuer raised her fist, clenching it, "I have an idea…I'll cripple you. And make you watch as Lord Greyvus kills your sister."
Elaine's teeth grounded, sweat coming down her forehead, aura pulsing.
Yuer growled as she leapt in with a rapid combo of attacks. But Elaine was ghosting each kick and punch that came her way. Still, Elaine returned to the defensive position. She needs to apply offense!
As Elaine continued to dodge, she snapped her hand toward chairs and tables. Translucent, green-like aura glowed and came speeding to Yuer.
Yuer hastily moved, slipping and flipping past each item that came crashing down. Yuer moved back, standing tall once again, "interesting…so your chaotic art is the same as your sisters. Telekinesis, hm? Makes you even more insufferable."
Something clicked in Elaine's head, however. During these entire exchanges of attacks, Yuer or Capreece never used a chaotic art, at all. "Wait…" Elaine spoke softly, "you're a—"
"Aura Master, why yes I am, girl. We all are."
'Just like my mom…' Elaine thought to herself.
As stated before, Chaos is a primordial essence within all living beings. But some, however, are unlucky.
Stonebloods.
Individuals who can't manipulate chaos such as people that utilize chaotic arts. No matter how hard they try, it is impossible for them to use the fundamental energy that is applied for this phenomenon. One would call it a disability.
However, Stonebloods can still use aura. Which these warriors are known as Aura Masters. Instead of the average individual using their chaotic art as a weapon, these unlucky people cultivate their body and aura to an insane degree to even stand against chaotic art users.
When they do reach that echelon of power, their body is now the blade, and their spirit is the edge.
Despite such disadvantages, Aura Masters become the weapon themselves.
Yuer tipped her head, "I hope you don't believe you have the edge over me simply because I can't use Chaotic Arts…" She lowered herself into stance, "I may not learn under Shang Fu, but I follow a different discipline…" Pink aura oozed from Yuer's body, deeply inhaling, "Breathing Cherry Blossom style: Blooming Razor."
Yuer sliced her hands forward, pink crescents flew, cutting through the air like a blade being sent off faster than the speed of sound. Elaine quickly made a force field, blocking the barrage of attacks, but it was starting to crack!
'So strong…! It won't hold!!' Elaine yelled in her thoughts, jumping to the air as the slicing attack broke down the wall behind her.
Elaine raised her arms like a bird, "Crane: Swallowing Waves!!" Slashing them forward, a tidal wave of wind roared, crashing down onto Yuer.
But Yuer hastily somersaulted, her leg like a knife as it slammed down, severing Elaine's attack completely! Yuer lowered herself, veins appearing on her legs, and surged forward in a blur!!
"Breathing Cherry Blossom Style: Javelin Petal!!" Aura around Yuer's arm took shape, forming into a spear, aimed at Elaine's chest.
"Tiger: Ferocity Surge!" Elaine pulled her arms back, shooting them forward, clashing against Yuer. The power so great the entire ceiling of the guild flew off like a hat, breaking down!!
Elaine was hurled into the wall, coughing, her eyes shook as she watched Yuer land onto the ground. Aura protecting her as debris fell and crashed into the floor.
Yuer looked down to her hand, blood. "My, guess I underestimated you a bit, huh?" Yuer scoffed, "well, it's over now." Yuer aimed her hand to Elaine, aura forming once more, "time to cripple you, little girl."
Elaine fell to the ground, body shriveled. 'I…I can't beat her…I dunno what I'm supposed to do… She's too strong for me.' Her eyes slowly shut like a garage door, 'I'm sorry…Mei Mei…'
