"Who is hunting me? And what do they want from me?" Yohana questioned as a wave of confusion flashed in her eyes. "Why am I unaware of all this while you guys are deciding everything on my behalf, without my consent!"
Iskander simply picked up his silver spoon and went back to his meal.
"Let's eat and then talk."
Yohana wanted to press for more answers, but the stubborn look on his face told her he wouldn't speak another word right now. She let out a frustrated sigh, and they finished the rest of their food in a tense, heavy silence.
Once they were done, Iskander set his napkin down, stood up, and extended his hand toward her. "Let's have a walk."
Yohana hesitated, but she desperately needed a breath of fresh air to clear her head. She placed her hand in his, letting him lead her through a set of tall glass doors at the back of the restaurant.
