CHAPTER 127 : THE FIRST DOMINO
The atmosphere inside Alexander's mansion had changed completely after Seraphina's revelation. Nobody trusted silence anymore. Nobody trusted familiarity anymore either.
The realization that someone from inside the Laurent organization had been feeding information to Titan for years had infected the entire mansion with tension.
And Alexander… Alexander had become terrifyingly quiet. The next morning, rain clouds still lingered heavily over the city while cold grey light filtered through the enormous windows of Alexander's home.
Seraphina sat stiffly near the couch, wrapped in one of Eleanora's oversized sweaters while nervously rubbing her palms together. She still looked pale. Fragile. But her eyes no longer looked completely lifeless. Eleanora had somehow managed to calm her enough through the night.
Alexander stood near the desk silently while Christian prepared something on his tablet nearby.
