Chapter 43: The Banquet (II).
After what felt like hours of laughing, teasing, and me being spoiled by Celestia's careful feeding, the banquet slowly started to wind down.
Clack– clack, clack-!
Plates were cleared, empty bowls stacked neatly by the monks, and the chatter of the hall softened as everyone leaned back in their seats, full and content.
Kc leaned back, rubbing her stomach dramatically. "I think I'm about to burst… but that was so good! I want more tomorrow!"
John, leaning against the table with a satisfied sigh, added, "I didn't think vegetarian dishes could be this filling… or tasty. I've never eaten anything like it."
I felt my own stomach stretch pleasantly, a satisfied warmth spreading through me. My hands still tingled slightly from Celestia guiding me through each bite, and though she was calm as ever, I could feel her presence lingering as I sat up straighter.
"Master, would you like another bite?"
"N-No, I'm full. You can eat that if you want."
