"Yawn…" I stretched, feeling the weight of the afternoon settle over me.
Training was finally over, and I thought I might die from hunger- but thankfully, as promised, Kc and John returned, carrying a mountain of pork buns and rice cakes. My stomach rejoiced.
"Master, how about your favorite flower?" (Celestia) asked, tilting her head slightly, her golden eyes curious.
"I'm fond of hibiscus flowers… though where I'm from we call them gumamelas," I replied, smiling.
"I see," she said softly, nodding. There was a quiet intensity in her gaze, as if she wanted to store every little detail about me.
All this time, my divine weapon had been curious about my life. I had been giving her half-truths and half-lies, and while I understood it was the same for her in some ways, some of her questions touched on parts of my past that I couldn't fully reveal.
