As soon they the both enter Kaori's Office, Kaori sit down on her chair and look at Megumi expectantly.
Seeing the look in her eyes, Megumi start to have an internal debate inside if his head.
'Should i downplayed my Powers or should i came clean?'
On one hand, if he downplayed his powers, he would be safer from much unneeded eyes... like the government and those kind of this.. this is an orphanage after all, he wouldn't be suprised if people with less than good intention take advantages of children with superb quirk. (like his, obviously.. he would be potential man fully realized, nothing less the superb of the superb would be good enough for him...) and in his old world, there are news once in a while about orphanage being used as child trafficking center..
No matter how different a world is to another, something is always the same...
The Evil of humanity.
Its just how humans work.. its in our nature.. humans are malicious, vindictive, evil, despicable, lustful, greedy, prideful, selfish and envious..
But despite all of that, human are also kind, selfless, beautiful, dutiful, and full of love and much much more..
Megumi isn't one to usually trust people that easily, but Kaori just come off as nice and have an affinity for children... and Considering this world's Toji is much more responsible than Jujutsu Kaisen Toji, Megumi won't be suprised if Toji did a really extensive background check on Kaori.
Kaori came off as a really good maternal figure, really, exactly his type... hey, don't blame him, milfs are just the best....
And if he fully tell Kaori about what the Ten Shadows can do then he would most likely get a bunch more resources he could use or straight up getting adopted by seeking parents if they found out about what he could do..
But the risk of being in danger at this early in his journey as a fully Realized Potential Man is far too great.. especially if people know what he have up his sleeve..
The Big Raga, The Opp Stoppa...
His adaptive ability is far too broken for this world, Megumi don't think there's a single ability in My Hero Academia that can one shot The Big Raga.
Unless he missed it cause he only watch My Hero Academia until the start of the Sports festival, chances are.. there are people that can do that.. but even then he'll put his Money on The Big Raga.
Especially with how the Anima upscales the Big Raga, cause holy hell even he have to admit that the adaptive Shikigami ain't doin all that in the manag against Sukuna..
Props to Mappa, they turned Mahoraga into The Big Raga, The Opp Stoppa..
'Nah, the risk is too risky.. i need to get a lot stronger before i can Aura Farm.. Aura Farming may be generational, but i won't get to see that Generational if i'm dead far too son..'
"So.. how do i start, Kaori-nee?" He asked the orphanage director as he walked to the most open space of the room.. which is in the middle.. shocking.
"Well, how about you tell me about... when did you get your quirk?" She give him an encouraging nod.
'Cute... fucking hell, get your head out of the gutters Megumi, imagine the baddies of the future! Not the baddies of the present!'
"Well, i was bored and wanted to do something." He said to her. "And i got the instinctive feeling to start playing shadow puppet show.. so i did.."
"And then, what happened, Fushiguro-kun." She encourage him to continue.
"Well... my shadow start to move.." he told her vaguely.
'Slow and steady, Megumi.. be vague.. act like a kid thay don't know his powers.. this is not Jujutsu Kaisen where the basic of your cursed technique is practically downloaded to your brain.. different world'
'Unlike Jujutsu Kaisen, this world is a lot more.. grounded? Is that the right word? Well its a lot more something with their power concept'
"Oh you can manipulate shadows? Thats so awesome Fushiguro-kun." She clapped her hands in excitement.
"You have a really good Potential to be a hero, Fushiguro-kun." She then lean a bit forward. "but.. only if you want to be a hero.. if you don't? Thats alright too!"
'Acting like a fucking excited toddler is a bit tiring.. but i gotta stay lowkey..' "i wanna be a hero! And i can also do something else than play with my shadows!" He then put his hand together in the signs for summoning his dawgs.
"Divine Dogs, come."
Underneath him, his shadow start to turn alive and changes shapes as it rises out of the ground into the form on Two Wolves bigger than him, even bigger than Kaori herself.
Kaori didn't expect for Megumu to Summon anything out of his shadows, let alone summon 2 Wolves bigger than her.
She practically jumped back from her chair and knock it away to the wall behind her with a scream.
"Kyaaaaaah!" She hugged herself in shocked and closed her eyes already thinking of the worse.
'Oh kami sama! I don't wanna die to wolves!' She started to pray inside her mind to any god that could exist.
"Kaori-nee san! Don't be scared! Its my summon! Kuro and Shirou!" Megumi tried to calm her down cause he does feels bad toward Kaori..
'...maybe i should had warned her beforehand.. well its no use crying over spilt milk, unless its one of those expensive Milk that has been infused with luxury chocolates or something like that..'
After a few second of silent and Kaori not feeling the wolves pouncing on her and tearing her apart.. she slowly open her eyes and see the two wolves on both of Megumi's Side.
"Uh..." she let out a breath and start to calm herself down for a few more second before she shakily fix her chair back in place and pst her chest. "You almost gave me a heart attack, Fushiguro-kun.."
"Sorry, Kaori-nee.." He rubbed the back of his head.
"I guess i should had tell you about it, before i summon em.. sorry."
"No.. its okay.." she shakes her head and start to pat down her clothes in an effort to fix it from her sudden movement before. "I should be more prepared.. and more brave.. its just 2.. big Scary wolf.."
Hearing that they have been called scary, Shirou let out a smug look on his face while Kuro let out a whine.
"Come on.." Megumi pet Kuro on his head. "You're not scary.. you're cute.."
Seeing that Kuro is not biting his arm off his socket.. Kaori sit down on her chair. "So.. you can summon them.."
"Yeah." Megumi confirmed.
"Can you summon anything else?" Kaori inquired Megumi as she start to write on her note about what she had observe from Megumi's Quirk.
"Well.. i think i can? I never try it.. but i have a feeling that i do." Megumi answered her while purposely making it Vague.
This is the decision he had come too after the internal debate a couple minutes ago..
He would both downplay his powers while being vague enough that he looks promising on paper..
"Okay..... so there's a chance that if you train more, you could do it." She nodded and give Megumi a proud look in Her eyes as she set down her pen. "well, i think i should get you to a doctor appointmenr tomorrow so he can appraise your Quirk."
"What do you wanna name it? Usualy its the doctor that name it but most of the time.. its really bland.. like when i first got my quirk, my doctor named it 'UV light absorption hair.'... i know it sound boring."
"Thats why i changed the name to Suneater Hair.. it sound more impressive." She let out a giggle.
"So what do you wanna name yours, Fushiguro-kun."
Hmmm... he isn't one with good naming sense... that he can admit.. shadow summons sounds too basic.. shadow puppet? Kinda a bit too on the nose and if he could train his Cursed technique good enough, he don't think he would need to do the hand signs..
But.. there's nothing better than the name it already has... and it personally sound pretty cool..
"I want to name it..."
"Ten Shadows."
