"Both of you. Come with me," Calista said when she came to our room after our second meal that day.
My stomach twisted a little as Reid and I stood. Neither of us moved immediately. Calista waited near the door, her expression unreadable.
Reid crossed his arms. "Where?"
Calista blinked once. "Come with me."
"You're not answering my question."
"It is the answer you're getting."
Reid didn't move. I looked between them. Calista's face remained calm. Reid's expression was anything but.
"Where are we going?" he asked again.
"You'll see when we arrive."
"Then I want to speak to Warwick."
Calista's eyebrow lifted. "You are remarkably demanding for an omega."
Reid opened his mouth. I cut him off. "We're already prisoners. We gain absolutely nothing by arguing in this place."
"I'm not arguing," Reid said.
"You absolutely are," I told him and sighed. "Look, if they wanted to drag us somewhere dangerous, they wouldn't bother asking us to walk there."
Reid still looked unconvinced.
