Chapter 91 - Permission to Cohabit

Recently, a ridiculous rumor had been spreading through Orario.

A nonsense rumor that a girl who looked like a personified version of the rare monster Buibur, which appeared on the 19th through 24th floors of the Dungeon, was wandering around Orario.

I dismissed it as nothing but a baseless rumor.

I didn't know much about monsters in the first place, and I was busy dealing with a conflict with Loki Familia over the cohabitation issue.

Aiz and I still hadn't been able to live together yet.

That was because the executives, including Loki, were fiercely opposed to the two of us cohabiting.

Since Loki Familia was full of such eccentric people, clashes of opinion were always happening.

"...I'm getting tired of coming here."

I brought a small gift and opened the door to the meeting room in Twilight Manor.

"Mm, right on time."

"Kyaaaaaaa!!!"

"..."

Finn and the others were physically restraining Loki, who was raging like an angry cat.

I let out a sigh and took a seat.

"All right, then. We'll begin the meeting on whether Aiz can cohabit with Bellf."

"No need to hear any more! Opposed! I'd oppose it even if dirt got in my eyes!"

"Didn't that already happen?"

"These are slit eyes, so I'm safe!"

Slamming the table hard, Loki glared at me with her narrowed eyes.

"The problem is you in the first place! How did you seduce that stone-faced little Aiz-chan?!"

"Even if you ask me that..."

I don't think I really did anything.

"..."

Well.

"Calm down, Loki."

"How am I supposed to calm down!? Riveria, say something!"

"...I'm in favor."

"Mama!!! You were against it last time!!!"

"After hearing from Aiz, I learned it was a path she chose of her own will. It would be wrong to interfere."

"Tch..."

Haah... This is exhausting...

At present, most of the executives, excluding Loki and Lefiya, who wasn't here, were in favor.

But Loki was still grinding her teeth and opposing it.

"Should I step in?"

Don't.

"Why not?"

Even if you do, Loki won't approve it.

People often forget because of her usual carefree behavior, but Loki was still the god of the Familia.

No matter how good an idea Finn, the captain, came up with, if Loki objected, it wouldn't be carried out.

"Anyway, I still absolutely won't allow it!"

"What would it take for you to allow it?"

"..."

"Loki, you know how much Aiz likes Bellf. Isn't it about time you gave your permission?"

"Hmm... Fine, but I've got a condition!"

"A condition...?"

"Bring me something that can't be found anywhere in Orario before the sun sets!"

...Wasn't that just another way of saying she wouldn't allow it?

"What are we supposed to do about this?"

I took a small ore out of my pocket.

"Here."

"W-what is this?"

"An ore from the Spirit World."

"..."

[I already have one.]
