Matthew's Point of View
We just looked at Zein while he told us his story. At least I understood Dave's sudden disappearance.
"That's it." Vanessa snapped her fingers. "That's why I feel like I've seen him before but I just ignored him," she said.
"Is there any news about them?" Jerome asked. "Maybe what happened to them. I know Tito Yuan, 'cause he said must be followed," he added worriedly.
I just leaned over because I was worried too. Uncle Yuan, Mia's father, is a strict father. We witnessed how strict he was with his only child. Dave would have a hard time talking to him.
"Nothing. I don't know what happened." Zein explained sadly. "But, we have to trust them. They won't let them fall apart." He forced a smile to calm his feelings.
I know what we've been through has made them stronger. But, they're not just any enemy. Mia's family. Zein is right, we just need to trust them. I just hope everything will be okay.
"Where are you from?" we were surprised by Jerome's question to Zein.
I saw Vanessa simply nod at Jerome because of what he said.
Jerome seemed to be in a daze, so I saw guilt cross his face.
I looked at Zein, who was calm. You couldn't see any shock in him.
"I mean... Before you came to this café. Where did you come from?" he replied.
I smiled at their behavior.
I ignored them when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I picked it up and a text message appeared.
From: Angel of my life
"Babe. Where are you? I'll pick you up."
I quickly typed out an answer to him.
"I'll go. Where are you?"

I don't know what I'm doing. Am I just playing with him? I also don't know if he's really serious about me or if he's just tripping. If you ask me, I don't feel anything for him other than just a friend.
I told him that several times but he just laughed at me.
I stood up when I received his reply. They looked at me.
"Are you going for a walk?" Vanessa asked.
I saw Jerome's simple smile. "There's always something to do---" I nudged him, making him laugh.
Zein's eyes narrowed, so I knew he was suspicious. "Are you hiding something from us?" she asked.
"Me?" I pointed to myself.
I glanced at Vanessa before finally leaving that café. It turns out I'm not the one who came in earlier so I'll probably just catch up with Ace.
I quickly sped my car to the place Angel was talking about. What was he doing in Baguio? What trip was he on and that's where he wanted to go.
My phone vibrated again so I took it out of my pocket.
"Faster, babe. Excited to see you."
I just shook my head before putting my cellphone back in my pocket without replying.
Is she just flirting with me? It's impossible for her to like me. I mean, yes I'm handsome, that's a given but what else? I get annoyed when people just like me because of my looks.
I don't want to brag, but they're the ones who say it themselves.
It was already late afternoon when I arrived at the place Angel had mentioned. I put aside the jacket from the back of my car and got out.
When I came out, a cold wind hit me. I hugged myself tightly as I walked up to a tree not far away. At the top there was a small hut. If I'm not mistaken, it was called a tree house.
I immediately saw the light coming from there.
What kind of trip did that woman take that she decided to go here? What's in this place?
I looked up. There was a ladder to climb up there so I used it. When I got to the top, I immediately found Angel in the corner.
She hugged herself while sobbing softly.
I was momentarily stunned because my chest felt like it was being pinched when I saw her in that position. Her sobs were making my chest tighten.
"A-Angel?"
Shit. Why am I stuttering? I'm shaking too.
She looked at me. Her face was red with tears and her hair was a mess. I could also see her body shaking.
"Why only now?" he asked.
"Are you a womanizer?" was his second question, where irritation was evident.
"No. This place is just too far away."
I don't know why but I feel like I need to explain to him. I want to calm him down.
"Where did you go on a date? Where did he kiss you? Where did he touch you?"
"Wait--- I said I'm not a woman!" I replied irritably.
He nodded and wiped his eyes. "S-Sorry. I thought you wouldn't come to me again like you usually do," he said laughing.
I was stunned because it wasn't true. I was always there where he was. He thought I wasn't going but I was always there. I was watching him. I don't know why but I felt like I had to go where he was.
"Why are you crying?" I asked before making her sit on a two-seater chair made of bamboo.
This tree house is small. It looks like it was made for two people. There is a light at the top. You can see the whole place from here. The lights come from the houses.
"I-I saw a ghost."
I was stunned by what he said. "W-Nothing. Ghost," I reminded.
Tangina.
"M-There is. He's sitting here with---"
"Are we just going to be scared?!" I said annoyed.
His eyes widened. It seemed like he misunderstood what I said.
"What do you want us to do?"
"What's so beautiful?" I grinned.
It swallowed and created a small space between us.
"I like you, yes. But, just try kissing me, Matt... Oh my.... That's a dream come true."
My jaw dropped when he said that.
She grinned and then laughed. I looked at her thin clothes.
oh Gad.
"Just a joke," he said laughing before coming closer to me again. "I missed you." I was stunned when he hugged me.
My whole body felt hot and I couldn't help it. "A-Angel..." I stammered.
I tingled as she brought her mouth close to my ear. "Can you feel me, babe?" she asked in a seductive voice.
Now... My entire body was on fire. My heart was trembling. My voice was shaking. And she's pressing herself and it gives me goosebumps.
"Hard, babe?"
"Shit!" I quickly pushed him away from me. He smirked at my reaction.
The hell it was already hard and now it becomes harder. "I'm turning on, Angel," I whispered because it felt like I was running out of air.
She's seducing me and it's damn effective.
"Harder than before?" he asked.
I winced when I remembered what he had done before. "Really harder than before," I answered honestly.
I took off my jacket and put it on him. I was cold too but I knew he needed it more.
"Bulge..."
"ANGELICA!"
"Uh, sorry." He laughed again.
I turned my back on him to cover myself. He was too hot and I didn't want to get burned. I didn't want to play with fire because I might get burned. I'm weak when it comes to this.
I felt him hug me from behind and bury his face in my shoulder. My heart was beating so fast.
"Bulge..."
"ANGELICA!"
"Uh, sorry." He laughed again.
I turned my back on him to cover myself. He was too hot and I didn't want to get burned. I didn't want to play with fire because I might get burned. I'm weak when it comes to this.
I felt him hug me from behind and bury his face in my shoulder. My heart was beating so fast.
"Matt. If you can't love me back. Babe, let's just stay like this. Please, babe."
