While Rimuru was completely immersed in studying and unable to pull himself away, the usually peaceful streets of New York suddenly descended into chaos.

"Hulk! Where are you?!"

"Hulk, come out! You don't deserve such power!"

After forcing Mr. Blue to inject him with Hulk's blood, Blonsky completely lost control and transformed into a gigantic, hideous monster.

Unlike the Hulk, whose intelligence often declined in his enraged state, Abomination retained a high level of intelligence.

He clearly understood what he was doing, what he wanted, and could express himself perfectly through speech.

Unfortunately, he had become utterly enslaved by power itself.

With a casual swing of his arm, Abomination sent a car flying as if it were nothing more than a marble.

BOOM!

The overturned vehicle crashed into a nearby building, causing part of it to collapse. Chunks of concrete scattered everywhere, and nobody knew how many unfortunate people had been caught underneath.

"Oh my God!"

"What kind of monster is that?!"

"Help! My leg is trapped!"

"Mom! Mom, wake up! Don't leave me!"

Unlike the relatively isolated Culver University, Broadway was one of the busiest streets in New York, packed with traffic and pedestrians.

For Abomination to appear there was nothing short of a disaster.

News of a giant monster rampaging through Broadway and slaughtering civilians spread across the world instantly.

Even if the government wanted to suppress the story, it was already too late. Within minutes, the Pentagon's phone lines were flooded with calls.

As always, the politicians' first instinct was to find someone to blame.

Naturally, the scapegoat became General Ross—the man who had spent years hunting the Hulk with no results to show for it.

After all, who had allowed this giant monster to rampage through the streets while screaming "Hulk" at the top of its lungs?

If you lacked the ability to shift responsibility, you had no place in politics.

At the same time, Abomination's appearance also completely shattered Ross's composure.

Although Ross was a soldier, his political instincts were far from weak.

Watching Abomination slaughter civilians on Broadway while constantly shouting "Hulk," Ross felt as though the sky had collapsed on top of him.

If he failed to stop this monster, the best prison cell on Ryker's Island might soon become his permanent residence.

Ross immediately ordered all forces originally assigned to capture the Hulk to redirect their attention toward Abomination.

The result was obvious.

Ross's elite troops were utterly defeated and suffered devastating casualties.

Ross collapsed into his chair, his face pale.

He knew he was finished.

At that moment, perhaps the only person still calm was Nick Fury.

The military's disastrous defeat once again proved to everyone how necessary the Avengers Initiative truly was.

Nick Fury had already begun planning how to request additional funding from Congress.

"Agent Romanoff," Fury ordered, "prepare to persuade the Hulk to fight."

Natasha's expression turned complicated as she stared at the yellow-brown monster slaughtering people on the screen.

To be honest, she really didn't want to face the Hulk again.

Not long ago, being chased by Hulk had already left a psychological scar on her.

Besides, S.H.I.E.L.D. had only recently managed to rescue Banner and Betty from General Ross and place them somewhere safe.

Trying to bring Hulk into the battle now might completely ruin all of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s efforts.

But Natasha also understood that this wasn't her decision to make.

However, just as she was preparing to move, Nick Fury suddenly stopped her.

Natasha immediately realized what had happened.

A moment earlier, Iron Man had suddenly descended from the sky and successfully drawn Abomination's attention away from the civilians, buying precious time for countless people to escape.

"Monster! Your opponent is me!"

Iron Man maintained his repulsor-firing pose, looking every bit the heroic savior.

ROAR!

Caught off guard by the sudden blast, Abomination rose from the rubble created by his own massive body.

He shook his head and glared furiously at Iron Man.

"Iron Man? You think wearing a metal suit makes you impressive? You know nothing about true power!"

Inside the helmet, JARVIS displayed Abomination's image and combat data across Tony's HUD.

Tony exaggeratedly replied,

"So you mutated from gamma radiation too? How did you end up looking like this? Compared to Hulk, you look like some cheap knockoff version. Honestly, your design feels way too lazy."

Tony's words instantly struck a nerve.

Even if Abomination didn't care about his appearance, hearing someone say he was inferior to Hulk was infuriating.

Hatred surged violently inside him.

ROAR!

Abomination slammed both fists into the ground.

The street shook violently, and more than a dozen nearby cars bounced into the air before crashing back down.

For a moment, the entire avenue echoed with blaring car alarms.

Then the enraged Abomination charged straight at Iron Man.

Of course Tony had already prepared for that.

BOOM!

A repulsor blast exploded from Tony's left hand, instantly knocking Abomination backward.

Tony continued mercilessly:

"So this is your 'power'? Compared to Hulk, not only are you weaker, you're uglier too. And not only ugly—you're basically a eunuch. Worse, you're the kind of guy who acts like a gangster despite not even wearing pants. At least Hulk has some sense of shame. Put on some underwear, sir. This is morally unacceptable."

ROAAAR!!!

Abomination's rage skyrocketed.

Being called weaker than Hulk was already unbearable, but Tony had even mocked his deepest humiliation.

To gain power, Abomination had sacrificed everything, including the most precious part of himself.

That pain had become an eternal scar in his heart.

At that moment, even his obsession with defeating Hulk temporarily disappeared.

Now he only wanted one thing:

Kill this iron-clad bastard.

The battle was being broadcast live worldwide, and Tony's savage insults left countless viewers stunned.

People couldn't help thinking:

Tony Stark's mouth must have been specially trained—his insults were absolutely lethal.

The war erupted once again.

Iron Man and Abomination clashed fiercely in an intense battle.

Everyone was already familiar with Iron Man's fighting style:

Repulsor cannons, miniature missiles, machine guns, sonic weapons, headbutts, and close-range combat.

Every advanced weapon Tony possessed was unleashed against Abomination.

Unfortunately, none of it was enough to completely defeat him.

Although Abomination's combat style was crude and straightforward, relying almost entirely on brute-force melee attacks, his durability was absurdly high.

His defense was monstrous, his recovery terrifying, his agility shocking, and his strength overwhelming.

Very quickly, Tony began paying the price for his sharp tongue.

As the battle continued, his armor, energy reserves, and weapon systems were rapidly depleted.

Meanwhile, Abomination's fury only continued to grow stronger.

Watching Iron Man gradually fall into a disadvantage—and seeing his armor suffer heavy damage—people around the world began to worry.

But alongside that worry came disappointment.

The silver-armored war machine they had seen before could overpower and crush even the Hulk.

Yet Iron Man was being steadily overwhelmed by Abomination.

In the eyes of many viewers…

Iron Man was still too weak.
