After the two women arrived at the school, they headed straight to their children's classroom and waited outside the door.
Ten minutes later....
The school bell ranks
Clank Clank Clank Clank
After the children heard the bell, they ran outside, cheering and singing.
"Goodbye to you teachers, it's time for us to go home. We come to school on Monday, on Tuesday, on Wednesday, on Thursday, on Friday, it's time for us to go home."
As the children rushed outside singing, the class doorway became chaotic. Because they were squeezing and pushing each other to get outside. Lil Asher and his two bratty friends were 'commanding' from the rear end. They mischievously pushed more students out.
Boom! boom! boom!
The sounds of the blackboard rang out.
Instantly, they quietened down and stood up straight.
"Good job! Now back to your seats,"
Mrs Davis voice rang out.
They walked quietly and in an orderly manner to their seats and sat down.
"Okay, your can go home after five minutes."
After she said that, she took her seat and closed her eyes.
Meanwhile, Mrs Willis and Agnes stood awkwardly beside the door, unsure whether to enter.
"Hnnnng~hnnng...these children really know how to give people headaches," Mrs Willis whispered.
Agnes looked at her and whispered quietly, "You think we should enter?"
Mrs Willis turned to her and rolled her eyes.
"We'll wait outside here and stop acting sneaky."
Agnes awkwardly straightened up and took a deep breath.
"Ahem, I thought so too."
They waited there for five minutes before the students walked out in an orderly manner. As the two friends waited for their children outside, Uncle Ben also arrived and joined them. Soon, they saw the three walking out like frozen eggplants.
Simultaneously, the two friends hooked their children's shirt collars from behind and brought them to their sides.
But the moment Lil Asher's shirt collar was hooked, he fiercely tried to shake the person off as he spoke
"The audaci.....," but he instantly froze when he saw that it was his mother.
"Hmm, the audacity of me, do something about it," his mother said fiercely, too, when she saw that he froze.
When his two friends saw what happened to him, one of them let his mother pull him to her side, while the other walked to his uncle quietly.
Their teacher was the last to walk out of the class and then took them to the side of the wall they would weed the grass from.
After they arrived at the left wall of the classroom, the teacher gave a few instructions.
"After you've finished mowing the grass, you should leave it to dry for one day to filter the sand out, or you can throw them in the bush behind the school today. Thank you all for the hard work." They she headed to her home.
Looking at everyone, Uncle Ben urged
"Okay! Supervisors, let's get ready to supervise these young men."
Suddenly, Mrs Willis clapped her hands while she exclaimed.
"Great!"
"Everybody turned to her after they heard her shout."
Seeing Everybody looking at her, she explained.
"I forgot to bring the food and water I've prepared for us, and also my son's clothes."
"Which clothes he coming change into? See their uniforms looking like someone threw them in the mud," Agnes said casually, pointing at the boys.
"But still, let me get the food and water," Mrs Willis said and hurriedly turned to Uncle Ben.
"Please supervise my son for me, I will be fast."
Uncle Ben nodded and began instructing the children. Then she picked up her speed and ran to the Hopesons' compound.
...
PatpatPatpat!
Not far from the school, Chloe and her sisters-in-law, who were carrying things in their hands, heard the sound of someone running towards them.
"Heheheeh, da Lena running back for the food she left behind," Chloe laughed in glee and said to the other two.
Not long after, Mrs Willis saw them and stopped running and instead told them to hurry over. After they reached her, they quickly walked together to the left wall.
.....
The left wall;
Uncle Ben and Agnes were instructing the boys to root out the grass properly when they arrived.
Then they began setting things up. First, Chloe, Patricia, and Deborah went into the children's classroom, brought out six chairs, and set them in a line to face the boys. Then they went back and brought out a table and placed the food, drinks, and the utensils they had brought with them on it.
Afterwards, Patricia then clapped her hands and said to the others
"Okay! All supervisors sit down and let's enjoy... supervise the boys,"
After the three supervisors sat down, Chloe and her sisters-in-law began sharing the food and drinks.
First, they served Uncle Ben his food and drink (palm butter soup, rice, and coconut water with a bamboo straw). Followed by their two friends, and finally they served themselves and sat down to enjoy.
"Ahh, if only this coconuts water were chilly cold," Deborah sighed regrettably.
"Don't worry, my daughter-in-law said she will send one big ice box for me next month on the same people car that brought our village solar panels," Patricia said with pride in her voice.
"I know, right?" her partners excitedly said together.
While they were chatting and enjoying themselves, Uncle Ben's eyes were on the boys. "Asher, grab the grass with your hand tightly and pull it up. You, Edward, stop playing and pull the grass from the same area. And Marcus, stop eating on top the grass and pull it from the roots. He instructed.
After they heard his instructions, the boys began implementing them.
Lil Asher grabbed a grass with his hand and forcefully pulled it up. His face was serious and fierce.
The grass: (!!!... bruh, can you please be gentle?)
On Marcus's side, he made a serious and stern face as he seriously pulled out a grass.
But still the grass top came up, and its bottom was left in the ground.
The pitiful grass:(T __T) bruh, can you please stop crippling me and follow his instructions! Sniff Sniff snooot ...
cried the grass with a green handkerchief in its hand.
On Edward's side, he finally began rooting out the grass properly. The grass on his side let out a breath of relief and hugged their families.
The happy grass: Thank greenness, he's not leaving our families behind anymore!.
While the boys were rooting out the grass, Chloe and her group arrived and began taking their pictures.
Snap! Snap! Snap!
Then they looked at the pictures.
"Hmm, this one is okay. Hahaha, see Asher and Marcus faces... hahahaha," Agnes burst out laughing.
"Ohhhh, so fierce! See Edward face, hahahaha, but he's doing his work well," Chloe laughed happily.
"Boys your ask your friend to teach your hahahaha," Deborah said as held her stomach laughing.
"Your stop teasing them, mehn. But babies, I think your will finish tomorrow with this your slow motion pace," Mrs Willis said gleefully.
Then she exchanged glances with her group, then Patricia excitedly continued taking pictures as she instructed them to pose.
Snap! snap! snap!
"Asher, hold the grass and smile. Ohh boy, you were meant for pictures."
"Edward, lift that bunch of grass you just rooted out.... ohhhh mehn, so so fine fine children we have."
"Ah! Marcus, you finally root out a grass fully, lift it up for the camera.. another upcoming heartbreaking, ah."
Then she paused and called her friends.
"Girllls, your come see our young ministers."
Uncle Ben watched them have fun for a while and grew melancholy, tears in his eyes. He turned his head and tried to shake the feelings away, but it didn't.
"If only.." he sadly and regrettably whispered.
