"Young lady," Granny interrupted smoothly, "has anyone ever told you how hardworking you look?"

Five minutes later, Granny had somehow obtained a free dessert, an extra pillow, a coupon, three compliments, and directions to a jewelry store.
Saturo watched in horror.
