Chapter 61 - Rising Pressure

Scene 1: Stability… for Now

The office was quieter than usual.

Not relaxed.

Not tense.

Just… controlled.

Everyone worked with a kind of awareness that hadn't existed before.

No unnecessary conversations.

No distractions.

Only focus.

After Ayaan's meeting—

things had aligned again.

But only on the surface.

Scene 2: The First Crack

Ishaan stared at his screen.

Multiple windows open.

Logs.

Routes.

Patterns.

Everything looked normal.

Too normal.

Again.

He leaned back slightly.

"…He's hiding inside clean data."

Mahi, sitting nearby, didn't look at him.

But she heard it.

And understood.

Scene 3: Working Without Words

For a moment—

they worked in silence.

Then—

Mahi adjusted something on her system.

A small correction.

Precise.

Ishaan noticed instantly.

Didn't comment.

But followed it.

Improved it further.

No discussion.

No acknowledgment.

But the coordination had returned.

Stronger.

Scene 4: Ayaan Watching Again

Across the office—

Ayaan stood still.

Observing.

Not the screens.

The people.

Mahi and Ishaan—working together again.

Better.

Anaya—

handling calls.

Calm.

Efficient.

But—

something still lingered.

Ayaan noticed it.

And didn't ignore it.

Scene 5: Pressure Returns

Another call came.

Anaya answered.

Professional tone.

Clear voice.

But the questions were sharper now.

"Can you confirm full originality?"

"Are there internal inconsistencies?"

Anaya responded smoothly.

But the frequency had increased.

Ayaan stepped closer.

Not interrupting.

Just present.

Scene 6: Controlled Protection

When the call ended—

Anaya turned slightly.

"I've handled worse."

Ayaan nodded.

"I know."

A pause.

Then—

quieter—

"But you won't have to alone."

Anaya looked at him.

For a second—

longer than usual.

Then returned to her work.

No response.

But something had shifted.

Scene 7: Chaeyol Moves Again

Across the city—

Chaeyol reviewed new data.

Not reports.

Not outcomes.

Reactions.

Behavioral patterns.

His screen showed:

response time

communication shifts

internal adjustments

"They're stabilizing faster now," someone said.

Chaeyol didn't look away.

"That's expected."

A pause.

Then—

slight smile.

"Now we increase pressure."

Scene 8: Escalation

Back in the office—

Mahi's system flashed.

A new message.

Not on her phone this time.

On her work screen.

She froze.

Ishaan noticed instantly.

Moved closer.

"What is it?"

Mahi didn't answer.

Just stared.

Then—

slowly—

turned the screen slightly.

The message was short.

"You blocked one door."

"There are others."

Silence.

The air changed again.

Scene 9: This Time, It's Different

Ayaan was already moving.

He reached them in seconds.

Read the message once.

No visible reaction.

But his voice—

lower.

Sharper.

"This ends now."

No hesitation.

No delay.

He turned to Ishaan.

"Trace everything."

Then to Mahi—

"No more independent handling."

This time—

she didn't argue.

Just nodded.

Scene 10: Meanwhile — Kriti (Of Course)

On the other side—

Kriti had no idea what was happening.

She was busy fighting her own battle.

"…Why does this file keep changing meaning?"

Aditya:

"It doesn't. You do."

Kriti:

"I'm evolving."

Aditya:

"You're confused."

Kriti:

"That's part of growth."

Aditya:

"Not this much."

She fixed something.

Checked again.

"…Okay. This is correct."

Aditya glanced.

"…It is."

Kriti smiled—

a little too proudly.

"I'm becoming reliable."

Aditya:

"Let's not rush conclusions."

Scene 11: Pressure Rises

Back in the center—

everything had shifted again.

This wasn't subtle anymore.

This was intrusion.

Direct.

Ayaan stood still.

Thinking faster than he showed.

"They've moved inside our system," he said quietly.

Ishaan's expression tightened.

"…Not directly."

Ayaan:

"Then indirectly."

A pause.

Then—

clear.

"Which means they're ahead."

Final Scene

Across the city—

Chaeyol closed the file.

Satisfied.

"They noticed."

A faint smile.

"Good."

Because this time—

it wasn't about pressure anymore.

It was about escalation.

And the game—

had just stepped into its final stage.
