CHAPTER 17: THE FALL OF THE TYRANT (part 1)
Words were no longer needed on the canteen floor.
The scattered blood and the sour stench of sweat were screaming the entire story on their own.
The shattered heavy steel table, the broken porcelain plates, and the violent red stains painted across the tiles were glaring proof that what had occurred here over the last hour wasn't a normal high school brawl, but a naked dance of death between two monsters.
But now, the outcome of that death match lay sprawled across the floor.
Akuro Yoshibe. The ultimate beast of Hakuru High. The undisputed leader of the Black Blazers.
The very man whose name alone made first-year students change their paths in sheer terror.
Today... that same Akuro lay doubled over on the ground in agonizing pain.
His breathing was heavy, ragged, and wet with his own blood. Just moments ago, without a single warning, the heavy, devastating 'Boxing Punch' Souma Kanzaki had driven into his stomach had set his internal organs ablaze.
Every slight jolt in his ribs brought him the agonizing sensation of death.
His dark cyan eyes bulged from the excruciating pain, and his entire 6'0" (183 cm), 78 kg lean muscular frame was trembling violently like a broken toy.
Relying on his shaking hands, he was simply making a pathetic, futile attempt to stand.
And standing right in front of him, radiating absolute authority, was the man responsible for his death-like state.
They didn't need to walk in; they were already there. The absolute, unquestionable authority of Hakuru High—"The Student Council!"
Their mere silent presence had ground the ego of every delinquent in the room into the dirt.
Standing like an impenetrable wall right behind Souma was Genji Ichimonji, the Head of the Discipline Committee.
His towering 6'5" (196 cm) height and roughly 105 kg dense, rock-like muscular weight made him look like an unbreakable tank.
His hardcore Dark Black buzz-cut and the ruthless seriousness in his Pitch-black eyes screamed out to everyone: "Disobedience is a disease. And I am the cure."
His aura was so oppressively heavy that not a single student dared to lift their eyes.
Right beside him, with both hands tucked into his pockets, stood Kyousuke Shidou, the Treasurer of the student council, emitting an utterly chaotic and wild vibe.
His lean, agile frame stood at 6'1" (185 cm) and 72 kg. His highly unique, vibrant Red and Green (bicolor) hair was styled in a wild frenzy.
A psychotic, joker-like smirk played on his lips, and his Fiery Orange eyes stared down at the crowd as if they were all his personal playthings.
On the right side stood their Girl Leader—Satsuki Kiryuin—radiating pure, lethal elegance. Her 5'8" (173 cm), 60 kg frame perfectly complimented her sexy, voluptuous physique.
Her silky Camel-colored hair was styled in an impeccably elegant Half-up bun.
Her breathtakingly beautiful Mauve (light purple) eyes possessed such a cold, commanding power that they could force anyone to their knees without her even laying a finger on them.
Right beside Satsuki was the Vice President, Tetsu Saedomi. His 6'0" (183 cm), 75 kg lean muscular physique looked as sharp as a scalpel.
His Coral-colored hair was flawlessly styled in a Quiff.
Framed by gold spectacles, his Dark Pink eyes gave off the chilling vibe of an analytical mastermind.
A calm, cheerful smile rested on his lips, which only made him look even more terrifying in that deathly atmosphere.
But standing ahead of these four monsters, at absolute ground zero, was the Senior Leader—Souma Kanzaki.
His 6.3-foot (191 cm) tall, athletic, and heavily muscular physique (85 kg) radiated the authority of an absolute ruler.
There wasn't a single crease on his perfectly tailored, jet-black Hakuru uniform.
Souma's Blonde golden hair was pulled back tightly into a long man-bun.
But the most terrifying aspect was his gaze. His Blueberry-blue eyes held absolutely no emotion.
There was only an icy, death-like silence. White boxing tape was tightly wrapped around the knuckles of both his hands.
The state of the canteen was as if everyone's breath had been permanently snuffed out.
The over 300 students present didn't have the courage to move a single inch.
Some boys standing at the back felt the strength completely drain from their legs, freezing in place as they grabbed onto each other for support.
The air had become so heavy and oppressive that breathing brought a sharp pain to their chests.
Terrified whispers began to ripple through the crowd:
"B-Bro... did you see what just happened?"
a first-year boy whimpered, grabbing his friend's shirt while crying.
"Akuro-san...
The Demon Akuro...
crumpled from a single punch?"
"Shut up, you idiot!" his friend hissed, grinding his teeth in fear.
"Don't make a sound in front of President Souma.
Look at his eyes!
They aren't human."
Left entirely alone near the epicenter of destruction was Kenta Ishida.
After Shoji fled to the toilets and Reo and Ryu escaped from the back, Kenta was left completely frozen.
The moment Kenta's eyes fell upon Souma and the Student Council, the bones in his legs suddenly gave way.
He crashed hard onto his knees. He swallowed his dry saliva in sheer terror.
His eyes were blown wide open in absolute horror, and beads of cold sweat dripped from his forehead, landing on the cracked tiles.
"These... these aren't humans..."
Kenta's mind screamed in panic, but his lips were completely sealed shut.
Suddenly, the sheer terror in his mind leaked past his lips, and he began muttering to himself in a cracked, trembling voice:
"These people... they are the fathers of demons,"
Kenta whispered, pulling at his own hair with shaking hands.
"Akuro was like a rabid dog... someone we were all terrified of...
his strength was inhuman...
but President Souma?
A single punch?
He brought Akuro to the ground with just one punch?!"
Kenta's breathing grew ragged, a suppressed sob hiding in his voice.
"This isn't madness.
The heavy pressure in their aura...
this is absolute, cold-blooded dominance.
The real devil of Hakuru High isn't Akuro...
It's Senior Souma.
If I mistakenly make even a single sound...
my corpse will be next."
Kenta remained on his knees, his head bowed, trembling violently.
He had completely understood his place in the food chain.
"My mother told me to study hard and become an officer…"
Kenta muttered with trembling lips.
"Instead, I'm here watching a live telecast of death."
