The trio now fights mutated monsters, slicing, stabbing, and crushing the monsters protecting the people inside the bar.
Kaiser jumped from rooftop to rooftop slicing them in half one by one, his blade covered in purple blood.
Deakon, still on the ground, grabs the mutated monsters and crushes their throats, or even stomps their heads in as he roars, his eyes glowing a dark orange.
Kaiser crashing onto the ground next to Deakon stands up, holding his sword to the side.
"Did you really have to land right in my face"
Kaiser just nods his head before jumping back into the battle again, Deakon just stares with a blank expression while he's still choking a monster in his left hand.
"Where is Zoephelia I don't-
Before DeaKon could finish, Zoephelia swooped past him, grabbing the mutated monster from his arms and stabbing it with her spear. Then, she launched the monster towards Kaiser, who sliced it in half.
Up in a tower overlooking the three fight is The man with pulsing eyes as he looks on in delight as they kill his test subjects easily, disposing of the last few quickly.
"How fun they'll do just fine when it's time, for now I'll keep making stronger and stronger pets"
He walks away from the window his hair sliding behind him as he goes back to his lab.
A few minutes later .
Dropping the last mutated body onto the pile, Kaiser And Deakon finally began to examine the bodies as Zoephelia flew overhead to keep a lookout.
Deakon then begins to examine the bodies, his hands and eyes scanning over them carefully.
"Look at their ears, they're all different some are human like while others are almost like an elves"
Kaiser begins to check the ears of each one
More and more he finds elf-like ears.
Kaiser's eyes narrow as he stands up straight, he motions for Zoephelia to land next to them.
"These mutants, they were people… they've been experimented on so much we barely could tell who or what they are"
Zoephelia winces and kneels down to the pile of bodies and whispers a small prayer hoping to bring their souls some peace.
Deakon, still looking over at them , sighs, and simply sits down.
"Whoever is doing this we have to stop them, this is, is horrific"
Kaiser, still examining the bodies, notices a faded mark on one of the elves' bodies. He grabs the body and wipes the dust and blood away to find a symbol he was familiar with.
"Damn it this isn't good"
Kaiser starts checking more of the bodies only to continue to find the symbol on their skin.
"They've been using the trafficking rings to supply whoever is experimenting on them"
Deakon and Zoephelia their faces contort in disgust, Deakon walks over to Kaiser and before he can place his hand on his shoulder a bell tolls loudly.
Suddenly all the bar patrons and workers walk through the doors gathering outside, bumping into each other, their steps synchronized, their eyes covered in a haze fog.
Kaiser and Deakon look at the crowd, their movements zombie like.
"What the hell happened to them?"
As they stand their confused the people walk past them and ignore them entirely
Soon more and more people come from the shops, homes and alleyways all in a synchronized movement converging to the middle of the city
Kaiser suddenly jumps onto a roof to get a better view, Deakon following quickly.
Zoephelia, flying above, spots thousands of people heading towards the bell tower.
"We have to figure out what's going on. This isn't close to being normal."
Zoephelia flies down and attempts to blend into the crowd, Kaiser and Deakon landing next to her, their cloaks in hand.
"Come on we have to see what's causing this, we'll split up, don't get caught"
Zoephelia and Deakon nod their heads and go into different sections of the crowd, leaving Kaiser alone as he keeps pace with the rest of the people walking to the city center
More people began to emerge from their homes in a daze, walking towards the city center. Within a few minutes, the city plaza was packed with a few thousand. At the statue in the middle, a man and a woman stood. The woman was slightly taller than the man, her heels helping her stand.
The woman raised her hand and everyone's head snapped to her, waving her hand slowly everyone's head followed whichever way she moved it.
She smiles, she motions for the man next to her to grab something on a pedestal behind her.
Turning around he grabs a crown adorned with a big red jewel with a radiant glow.
The man puts the crown on her head and then speaks.
"Bow down to your queen"
"Now"
Immediately every person kneels down, the trio kneel down to hide their presence.
"For two thousand years we've established this district, and for five hundred years we've let it rot. For I am here to tell you that from now on that will not happen."
"We will create a better future for you and your families; all you need to do is trust us."
The man raises his hand and soon the people all stand rigidly, their bodies stiff as they strain to resist the control.
The queen running her eyes over the crowd spotting Kaiser, their eyes Lock for a sec before he ducked out of the way
The Queen smiles, her eyes now locked onto where she had seen Kaiser.
"My subjects it appears we have guests let us welcome them with open arms"
Suddenly everyone in the plaza turns and faces the trio immediately surrounding them.
"Well how'd you like our gift?"
The man next to the queen swings his arm down and everyone around them turns to them
Zoephelia attempted to fly but found herself grabbed and slammed onto the ground, with multiple citizens dogpiling on top of her, holding her down.
Deacon punched away people on both sides, but they quickly closed in and held him down.
Kaiser kicking people away and trying to evade capture only for him to back into the arms of the mind controlled citizens behind him.
After a struggling to get out of their grasp he stops to see Zoephelia and Deakon captured too.
The Elven Queen walked over, a smirk on her face, while the man behind her remained expressionless.
"You I wasn't expecting a demon here, color me surprised, when I seen your eyes I knew who you were"
She crouches in front of him raising his head up with her finger.
"Kaiser odayakana, the Demon prince, The Son of Akaeleilia, The dumb child who blew a crater into my beautiful city"
"Why are you here?"
