"Absolutely not."
Yeon Yujun stands in the middle of Chief Baek's office with his arms crossed, Pouch perched on his shoulder mimicking the exact same posture with its tiny fluffy arms.
"It wasn't a request, Mr. Yeon." Chief Baek doesn't even look up from the holographic report floating above her desk, her tone as flat and unreadable as ever. "You and Mr. Seo were the first responders on site. The Division needs your statements for the investigation."
"I already gave a statement to the security guard."
"You gave half a sentence and fled through a maintenance hallway." Chief Baek finally lifts her eyes, and there's something close to amusement buried under all that sternness. "I have it on camera."
Yeon Yujun glances sideways at Seo Hwigeon, who has the audacity to look completely unbothered, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and his mask tilted just slightly, as if he isn't the literal reason they ran in the first place.
"That was his idea."
