Leo emerged from the cave manor with his hair in complete disarray.
Glancing toward Draco's bed, he found the blond boy still sleeping peacefully. Then he checked the alarm clock beside his own bed.
Nearly three in the morning.
Without bothering with anything else, Leo casually cast a Cleaning Charm over himself before collapsing onto his bed fully clothed.
The moment his eyes closed, a single thought surfaced.
His original plan to quietly coast through life had clearly failed.
Ever since arriving at Hogwarts—
He had somehow become busier than ever.
His thoughts drifted back to the previous afternoon.
After Transfiguration class, he had gone directly to Professor McGonagall to ask questions about advanced Transfiguration techniques.
More specifically—
Animagus transformation.
The moment he mentioned the subject, Professor McGonagall's expression had immediately turned serious.
She repeatedly warned him that becoming an Animagus was one of the most advanced and dangerous branches of Transfiguration.
One mistake could permanently trap a wizard in animal form.
Even so, Leo stubbornly persisted.
Wearing the most innocent and sincere expression he could manage, he repeatedly assured Professor McGonagall that he would absolutely never attempt the transformation recklessly or without supervision.
Only then had she reluctantly allowed the conversation to end.
However—
During that discussion, Leo had noticed something strange.
Ever since the transformation within his spiritual sea began shifting from Yin toward Yang, his body had entered a peculiar transitional state.
His physical strength hadn't increased dramatically.
If anything—
His movements occasionally felt sluggish.
But other aspects of him had become frighteningly powerful.
At the very least, he could now continuously draw energy from the Sea of Stars within his consciousness.
Of course—
There was a problem.
Efficiency.
Trying to use that power felt like draining an entire ocean through a drinking straw.
The supply was effectively limitless.
The output was pitiful.
Which meant—
He could endlessly cast small spells.
But gathering enough energy for something truly devastating still took far too long.
A wizard with infinite magical reserves but terrible casting speed.
That was Leo's current situation.
And at Hogwarts—
That was dangerous.
If you couldn't unleash overwhelming force instantly during a crisis, then the size of your magical reserves hardly mattered.
Which was why Leo had started researching another idea.
A true equalizer.
A weapon.
Since creating something absurd like a "Six Roots Purification Gatling Bodhisattva Depleted Uranium Cannon" was probably unrealistic—
He settled on the next best thing.
The Wizard Colt.
Thankfully, memories from the internet in his previous life proved surprisingly useful.
Holy bullets.
Demon-hunting revolvers.
Anti-monster firearms.
Countless concepts flashed through his mind.
Afterward, Leo had gone to the library and searched through potion texts until he finally located the recipe for Essence of Dittany.
Then Thursday night arrived.
After flying lessons, he informed Draco that he would be back late before immediately locking himself inside the cave manor laboratory.
For nearly six uninterrupted hours—
He never left the cauldron.
Dinner came directly from his spatial pouch while he worked.
Preparing ingredients.
Processing magical herbs.
Monitoring temperatures.
Managing magical reactions.
Every step demanded his complete concentration.
At one point, he even paused to consult alchemy texts.
Several times the potion nearly exploded.
Fortunately—
He succeeded in the end.
But by the time the final brew was complete—
It was almost three in the morning.
Leo had been so exhausted that he hadn't even used it on Kuroshi yet.
As sleep finally claimed him, Hogwarts seemed quieter than ever before.
Outside the castle windows, the moon slowly crossed the sky.
Miss Moon Rabbit yawned lazily while guiding her tiny star sisters as they danced across Prince Sun's back.
Then—
A voice shattered the peaceful darkness.
"Wake up, Leo!"
"It's already eight-thirty!"
"You're going to be late!"
Leo vaguely heard someone calling him.
Slowly opening his eyes, he found a familiar head of platinum-blond hair directly in front of him.
Rubbing his eyes sleepily, he mumbled,
"Little Dragon... what time is it...?"
Draco, already fully dressed in his uniform, grabbed Leo by the shoulders and shook him repeatedly.
"It's eight-thirty!"
"Wake up!"
"Today is Snape's Potions class!"
"You absolutely cannot be late!"
"Okay..."
Leo let out a massive yawn.
Still half asleep, he lazily pulled out his wand and repeated yesterday's routine.
Transfiguration.
Water-Conjuring Charm.
Thanks to magic, the two boys finished washing up in less than six minutes.
After leaving the dormitory, they encountered Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle waiting outside.
However, Leo disliked moving around in large groups.
It made him feel like part of some underground criminal organization moments away from being arrested by magical law enforcement.
So he casually stole a sandwich from Goyle's hand before waving toward the others.
"You guys go ahead."
"I forgot something."
Draco unwrapped a sandwich Pansy had handed him while shouting after Leo.
"Hurry up and catch up!"
Back in the dormitory, Leo retrieved the pocket watch he had accidentally left beside his bed and slipped it into his pocket.
Technically—
He really had forgotten something.
Not a lie.
As he walked through the corridors toward the Potions classroom, Leo slowly ate his sandwich while carrying a carton of milk in his other hand.
Professor Snape always arrived exactly on time.
That meant Leo still had a little room to spare.
Even so—
He unconsciously quickened his pace.
The Potions classroom sat deep beneath Hogwarts Castle.
Cold.
Damp.
Poorly lit by flickering candles.
The air smelled strongly of magical herbs, potion ingredients, and substances that probably should not have existed.
Glass jars containing bizarre creatures lined the walls.
Both Slytherin and Gryffindor students had already arrived.
Everyone sat quietly, waiting nervously for class to begin.
Leo strolled into the classroom.
His sleepy expression made it seem as though the lesson had absolutely nothing to do with him.
Spotting Draco waving from a corner seat, he wandered over and sat down beside him.
Then he immediately leaned sideways against the desk like someone whose soul hadn't fully awakened.
He waved toward Hermione and the others as a greeting.
Before lowering his hand—
Another yawn escaped.
Draco stared suspiciously at him.
"Leo... did you stay up all ni—"
"Shh."
Leo immediately interrupted him.
Draco blinked.
Then—
The classroom door suddenly swung open.
A black figure swept into the room like an enormous bat.
An invisible pressure instantly settled over the classroom.
Professor Snape strode forward in flowing black robes, his expression as cold and severe as ever.
His sharp gaze swept across every student present.
When his eyes briefly landed on Harry—
One eyebrow twitched almost imperceptibly.
The classroom immediately fell silent.
Even the Gryffindors unconsciously straightened their backs.
Meanwhile—
Leo remained slumped lazily in his chair.
"Understand this clearly," Snape said in his low, smooth voice.
"Potion-making is a delicate and exact art."
"It requires complete concentration."
"One mistake is enough to destroy everything."
"Do not behave like fools."
Then Snape slowly picked up the attendance list.
"Now..."
"Let us begin roll call."
