Chapter 206 - Chapter 204

# **Chapter 204 – After the Storm**

### **Dagon's POV**

The room was quiet.

Not empty—never empty—but quiet in a way that felt unfamiliar. The kind of silence that followed something… personal. Something that changed things.

The air still carried warmth, not from heat, but from presence.

I stood near the viewport, staring out at the fractured glow of hyperspace. Lines of light stretched endlessly, distant and unreachable. It reminded me of something I couldn't quite name.

Or maybe I didn't want to.

Behind me, I could feel them.

Not just physically.

Through the Force.

Closer than before.

Stronger.

That bond… it had changed.

Deepened.

And that was exactly why I couldn't ignore what came next.

I exhaled slowly.

"We need to talk."

The words felt heavier than they should have.

But I didn't turn around yet.

If I did…

I might hesitate.

---

### **Ahsoka's POV**

She froze.

Not completely—but enough that the shift in the Force was noticeable.

The warmth from earlier hadn't faded, but now there was something else layered over it.

Seriousness.

Her lekku twitched slightly as she looked toward him, still standing by the viewport, back turned.

"…You always say that before something bad," she muttered.

It wasn't really a complaint.

More… observation.

But she pushed herself up anyway, trying to act normal—though the faint flush on her face betrayed her.

She avoided looking directly at anyone else.

Especially him.

"…What is it?" she asked, quieter this time.

---

### **Visenya's POV**

Visenya didn't move right away.

She simply watched him.

Felt him.

Something was shifting again.

Not away from them—but forward.

Toward something heavier.

She rose slowly, her expression soft but attentive.

"You're thinking about the war," she said gently.

Not a question.

A realization.

Her gaze didn't leave him.

"Something's changed, hasn't it?"

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"…Yes."

I turned this time.

Slowly.

Meeting all of their eyes.

That made it harder.

But it also made it necessary.

"We don't have time to drag this war out."

No hesitation.

No softening.

"The Republic is celebrating victories."

A pause.

"But they don't understand the scale."

I stepped forward slightly.

"The CIS isn't losing."

Their expressions shifted slightly.

Confusion.

Concern.

I continued.

"They're adapting. Reallocating. Preparing for a longer war."

My voice lowered.

"And if it becomes a long war…"

I didn't need to finish that.

They understood.

More death.

More destruction.

More loss.

---

### **Flare's POV**

Flare nodded slightly.

"Attrition warfare," she said.

"Extended conflict favors larger production capabilities."

Her eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

"The CIS has the advantage in that scenario."

She looked directly at him.

"So you're planning to prevent that outcome."

Not asking.

Confirming.

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"Yes."

No hesitation.

"I'm ending it."

Silence followed.

Not disbelief.

But the weight of what that meant.

"I'm not going to fight this war the way the Jedi want."

My tone sharpened slightly.

"Defensive positions. Political hesitation. Controlled engagements…"

I shook my head.

"That drags it out."

I looked at each of them.

"I'm going to break them."

Direct.

Unfiltered.

"They rely on coordination. Production. Leadership."

A pause.

"So I remove all three."

---

### **Kayla's POV**

Kayla let out a low whistle.

"…Yeah, that tracks."

Her arms crossed, but there was no resistance in her posture.

"You don't do things halfway."

She smirked faintly.

"Go big or wipe out the entire system, right?"

But her eyes were serious.

"You're talking about hitting everything at once."

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"Yes."

I nodded.

"Simultaneous strikes."

"Command nodes."

"Shipyards."

"Logistics hubs."

"And leadership."

Their expressions sharpened.

They understood.

"Count Dooku."

"Grievous."

"And anyone else holding their structure together."

---

### **Stella's POV**

Stella's hands tightened slightly.

"That's… dangerous…"

Her voice was soft, but steady.

"You'd be targeting everything at once…"

She looked at him carefully.

"That means you'll be everywhere…"

A pause.

"…and alone."

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"…Yes."

There was no point denying it.

That was the plan.

That was always the plan.

---

### **Visenya's POV**

"No."

The word came instantly.

Firm.

She stepped forward.

"You're not doing that alone."

Her eyes locked onto his.

"That's not happening."

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"Visenya—"

"No."

Stronger this time.

She didn't let me finish.

"You already tried that."

Her voice trembled slightly—but didn't break.

"And we already said no."

---

### **Ahsoka's POV**

Ahsoka stepped forward next.

Still a little flustered—but her focus was clear now.

"You think we'd just sit back after all that?"

She gestured slightly.

Everything they had shared.

Everything they had seen.

"Not happening."

Her tone sharpened.

"You go—we go."

---

### **Flare's POV**

Flare nodded.

"Strategically, separating from your primary support units reduces efficiency."

A pause.

"And increases risk."

She met his gaze.

"Unacceptable variables."

---

### **Kayla's POV**

Kayla rolled her eyes.

"Tch… you really thought we'd just let you run off alone?"

She smirked slightly.

"After everything?"

She shook her head.

"Not a chance."

---

### **Stella's POV**

Stella stepped closer.

Quiet.

But certain.

"We meant what we said…"

Her eyes met his.

"We're staying."

---

### **Dagon's POV**

I exhaled slowly.

"…You don't understand what this will become."

My voice lowered.

"This isn't just war anymore."

A pause.

"It's escalation."

I hesitated.

Then—

"…Darth Nox."

That got their attention.

---

### **Flare's POV**

"Sith," she said immediately.

Her tone sharpened slightly.

"You trained with a Sith holocron."

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"Yes."

No point hiding it.

"Darth Nox."

I watched their reactions carefully.

"He wasn't what you think."

A pause.

"He wasn't… consumed."

I crossed my arms slightly.

"He believed in strength."

"In control."

"In using power without losing yourself to it."

---

### **Visenya's POV**

Visenya frowned slightly.

"A Sith… who wasn't corrupted?"

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"Not entirely."

I shook my head.

"He understood balance in a different way."

A pause.

"He taught me control."

"Not suppression."

"Control."

I looked at my hand briefly.

"The lightning."

"The darkness."

"It's not something to fear."

Another pause.

"It's something to master."

---

### **Ahsoka's POV**

Ahsoka's expression shifted.

Not fear.

Not rejection.

Understanding.

"You're not falling…"

She said it quietly.

"You're choosing."

---

### **Dagon's POV**

"Yes."

I met her gaze.

"I'm choosing to use everything I have."

A pause.

"To end this."

---

### **Kayla's POV**

Kayla smirked slightly.

"…Yeah, that sounds like you."

No hesitation.

No fear.

Just acceptance.

---

### **Flare's POV**

Flare nodded.

"Then the logical conclusion is simple."

She looked at the others briefly.

"We adapt with you."

---

### **Visenya's POV**

Visenya smiled softly.

"Where you go…"

She stepped closer.

"We go."

---

### **Stella's POV**

Stella nodded.

"…Always."

---

### **Ahsoka's POV**

Ahsoka crossed her arms—but there was a faint smile there.

"…Even if it's a terrible idea."

---

### **Kayla's POV**

Kayla smirked.

"Especially then."

---

### **Dagon's POV**

I looked at all of them.

Every one of them.

Still here.

Still choosing this.

Even now.

"…You're all insane."

---

### **Kayla**

"Takes one to know one."

---

### **Visenya**

"Maybe…"

She smiled gently.

"But we're your kind of insane."

---

### **Flare**

"Statistically confirmed."

---

### **Stella**

"…We're not leaving."

---

### **Ahsoka**

"…Deal with it."

---

### **Dagon's POV (End)**

I exhaled slowly.

And for once…

I didn't argue.

"…Then stay close."

My voice was quieter now.

But firm.

"Because once this starts…"

A pause.

"…there's no turning back."

They didn't hesitate.

Not one of them.

And for the first time…

That didn't feel like a burden.

It felt like strength.

The war was about to change.

And this time—

I wouldn't be fighting it alone.
