I swallow the big lump starting to form in my throat as I neared school. What Maverick told me yesterday kept repeating in my head. It was all I thought about all night and still now this morning. It cannot really be the way Maverick says it is. Why would everyone suddenly get involved in a mass bullying on just a single person? It sounds crazy doesn't it?
If anyone deserves that is Calyx himself. He is the ultimate trouble. It would be nice if everyone could choose to gang up and get rid of him.
Every other person in the locker hallway seems to be minding their business. I make a mental note to find and apologize to Calyx for the hundredth time this morning. I trained my eyes on my locker that is still a few steps ahead.
