49. Grenade - 320 SP/unit Rocket Boots - 1000 SP/unit

50. Stellanet Router - 20000 SP/unit]

Allen finished reading the newly available items and was shocked to see the price of each one of them.

'20000 SP??!!! What the hell??!!'

He screamed inwardly at seeing the exorbitant price of the 50th item.

He quickly regained his composure and asked the System through his thoughts.

'System, what is this Stellanet Router and why the heck is it so goddamn expensive?'

[The Stellanet Router as the name suggests is a router that lets you connect to the internet through the use of energy from the stars to keep itself working.] The System explained.

'What? The internet? For real?' Allen asked, pleasantly surprised.

Although he could still access the internet, he knew it wouldn't be long before that stopped working.

With no one to man the stations that provide the internet, it was only a matter of time he lost connection to it.

'Using the energy of the stars probably means using the light from the sun… like solar panels.'

'I should get one, but the price is…'

'Haah… It will have to wait for now. At least until I'm done with Wion. After that, I will have more SP and give it a serious thought in regards to purchasing it.'

'Now for the 49th item… Rocket Boots. Tell me more about it.'

[Yes. The Rocket Boots to put it in simple terms are metallic boots that can allow you to fly in the air through its propulsion mechanisms.] The System replied.

'How long does it last?'

[If fully charged, no less than 30 minutes.]

'How do I charge it?'

[Using the energy of the sun.]

'Same charging method as the Stellanet Router.' Allen thought.

'How long does it take to fully charge itself?'

[No more than an hour.]

'Alright, I've decided I'm going to purchase the Rocket Boots.'

[Ding!

Congratulations!

One pair of Rocket Boots have been purchased!]

[Current SP: 21345]

'Hmm, there's still a lot left.' He thought, looking at his SP balance.

'Then, how about the 42nd item? Magnetic Gauntlet was it?' He looked at the list of items once more to confirm the name.

'System, give me the tea about it.'

[Yes. The Magnetic Gauntlet uses magnetic force to pull objects near it or to push them away. It has a range of 1000 meters and can carry a maximum of 25 tonnes in mass. It also uses the light of the sun to charge itself and takes a maximum of 12 hours to be fully charged. The amount of time it can last depends on the weight of the object being lifted.] The System explained.

(A/N: Basically, Magneto-like powers.)

'...!'

Allen was pleasantly shocked upon learning about the powers of the Magnetic Gauntlet. Although the time needed to be fully charged was a letdown, he didn't let that get to him, knowing how useful it would be to have it by his side.

'I've decided to buy the Magnetic Gauntlet as well.' He conveyed his orders through his thoughts.

[Ding!

Congratulations!

You've purchased the Magnetic Gauntlet!]

[Current SP: 20145]

A system message informing him of the successful purchase appeared in front of him along with his remaining SP.

While Allen was busy flying and looking at the system panels, Donovan was busy looking at the zombies below and was marking their locations on his head and also looking for a roof large enough to land the chopper..

"Um, we've reached." Donovan said after finding a landing spot.

"I suggest we land over there." He showed Allen the spot.

"Hmm, that is a good spot." Allen said before beginning the descent.

Once the chopper landed successfully, both of them got off and Allen sent it back to the Inventory.

It left Donovan speechless again but he suppressed it, trying to come to terms with the strange abilities of his new master.

"Hmm, the rain has stopped." Allen said, looking at the skies that had finally stopped weeping over what the world had become.

He looked below and saw that the water was also mostly drained albeit the ground was still wet.

'It looks like I can't use the same tactic anymore.' Allen thought, slightly disappointed.

Donovan also thought the same, wondering how would Allen deal with the zombies now when a black-blue light covered Allen's left hand up to his forearm.

The light slowly faded and revealed a sleek black gauntlet with blue accents.'

Donovan looked curiously at the strange gauntlet that looked like a piece of technology from the future.

'What is that?' He thought.

While Donovan was trying to figure out what it was, Allen spent 400 SP on buying two Sound Grenades.

'This should do it.' Allen though before pulling the pins on both and dropping them to the ground from the building he was in.

"Cover your ears." Allen said as he covered his.

Donovan wasn't an idiot. He realized that they were sound grenades which Allen had dropped on the ground to attract the attention of the thousands of zombies near the area.

It would be a lie to say he wasn't afraid but he couldn't do anything to change his fate either and just listened to Allen and covered his ears.

Thunk!

The sound of the sound grenades falling on the ground could be heard clearly.

A few seconds later, the grenades activated.

BOOOOM!!

A loud thundering roar burst out of the grenades as Donovan groaned from being so close to the explosion.

A few minutes later,

Dhum Dhum Dhum!

The ground started to shake slightly as if an earthquake had begun as thousands of zombies made their way towards the duo.

'Bring it on.' Allen thought, a smirk etched on his face.
